The FRX100 VA Vacuum Housing was specially designed for the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III, RX100 IV, RX100 V and RX100 VA digital cameras.
The FRX100 VA Vacuum Housing features the Fantasea Hybrid Vacuum Safety System (included with the housing), which contains both a pre-dive vacuum check and an on-dive leak detector. The system allows confirming the watertight seal of the housing prior to the dive using the vacuum system and monitoring the housing seal during the dive using the moisture detector.

It is depth rated to 60m/200 feet and is fully functional with ergonomically designed and labeled controls. The 24-70mm lens that Sony has installed in this camera allows the underwater photographer to get closer to their subject. Getting closer means less water and fewer particles between the subject and the camera, resulting in more colourful images.
On the macro side, the Nauticam Super Macro Converter 1 (SMC) is the ideal choice and allows you to fill the image with a 2.5 cm "big" subject. This is over 4x magnification achieved by the series lens (series lenses 160 mm wide, SMC 38 mm wide).

Nauticam engineers managed to penetrate Nauticam's vacuum monitoring and leak detection electronics. By default, it serves as an acoustic and visual leak detector, but with a Nauticam M14 vacuum valve (p/n 25611), it becomes a vacuum control system. The vacuum monitoring system provides early warning of any problem with watertight integrity - meaning safety when shooting underwater.

The RX100 IV now supports XAVC S Ultra High Definition (3840×2160) 24P/25P/30P video at up to 100 Mbps as well as HD at up to 120 fps! Focus Peaking and Zebra Lines are available to control focus and correct exposure.

Adapter lenses or filters with threaded connection M67 can be mounted on the port
The port is threaded so that the M67 wide-angle converter lens 0.6x can be mounted directly.
* If the lens is used with the widest angle, vignetting will occur in the corners of the image. Zoom in slightly (approx. 30 mm angle of view) to avoid vignetting.
Two SA8 ball head adapter mounts built in
By attaching the SA8 ball head adapter to the specially designed brackets located on the top and side of the housing, SA8 components can be mounted on the housing without a handle or rail. Mounting the SA8 ball head for hot shoe adapter offers even more versatile lighting options. Additional flashes or lamps can be used.
LCD monitor bonnet with lens can be mounted
The LCD bonnet reduces reflections and provides a clear and complete view of the camera's LCD screen. (LCD bonnet stopper included)
All camera functions can be operated underwater.
The large control dial on the front of the housing connects to the camera's control ring and enables smooth operation of manual focus and other functions.
The multi-purpose control dial on the back of the camera is operated via the multi-point control on the back of the housing. All controls are easily accessible and can be operated with the right hand.The flash built into the camera can be activated and deactivated from the walker.Equipped with two fibre optic cable sockets.
Optional leak sensor can be installed in the housing. The LED light is located in the LCD monitor window and warns you of water ingress. The sensor warns you immediately of water ingress when the super bright LED lights up. Equipped with two sacrificial zinc diodes (one in the front of the housing and one on the back) to prevent electrolyte damage.
The camera can be mounted in the housing with the Sony AG-R2 accessory handle, so that it can be used comfortably and stably on land if required.
Non-slip rubber on the upper right rear handle, which keeps the handle stable.
The housing is easy to open and lock with the twist lock and hinge.
External flash or light can be mounted by attaching an SA8 rail & handle 2118 to the tripod thread on the underside of the housing.
A rated depth of 100m makes the housing ideal for tech diving.

An easy to use, highly professional product has been created through techniques and innovations gained from years of experience. The housing for Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V / RX100 Mark VA perfect handling by means of an adjustable strips. Easy access to all key/main camera controls by means of clearly labelled laser-engraved longlasting buttons. An easy and quick release camera mounting plate allows the camera positioning; the back door has a large window for a fine camera display view and it is entirely detached from the front body to make easier the camera fitting.
ONE HAND OPEN/CLOSE
It's very easy to open and close Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V / RX100 Mark VA, without any efforts by the user thanks to the side helicoid screw and the bottom centered pins; the camera is placed easily into the housing on a sliding tray that keeps the camera robustly in place. A lever locks the tray safely inside the housing. The housing stands with great stability due to sturdy and wide rubber feet located on the bottom.
PORT, CLOSE-UP AND WIDE-ANGLE LENSES
Front portholes are built with high quality standards of materials to ensure a perfect image quality. A removable flat port is fitted thanks to markers and a bayonet connection to Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V / RX100 Mark VA housing. A M67 threaded end allows the use of additional wet wide angle lenses and macro lenses.
LIGHTING
Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V / RX100 Mark VA own strobe lighting can be used fitting an outside diffuser on the porthole. For better performance with wide angle lenses, one or two external strobes can be connected by optical fiber using the adaptor included.
CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY
Only the best materials are used to manufacture our housings such anodized aluminum which is anticorodal and thermo-coated and stainless steel. A longlasting product that requires easy and simple maintenance by the user. So small and so rich in technology! Dual high precision and quality O-Ring seals protect and ensure a perfect and secure watertight for all movable and / or removable parts; a red alarm for humidity/water inside the housing is powered by a battery replaceable by the user. Working depth is 100 metres. An hole positioned on the bottom allows to secure the housing for Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark V / RX100 Mark VA with a line/strap. Different accessories can be fitted by means of an upper sliding tray and double threaded M6 holes and one 1/4W on the bottom.

The Isotta underwater housing for the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV allows you to use the full potential of the camera and capture amazing images and videos underwater.
Techniques and innovations based on years of experience have resulted in an easy-to-use, highly professional product. The housing for the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV offers perfect handling thanks to adjustable rails. Easy access to all important camera controls through clearly labelled, laser-engraved, durable buttons. A simple and quickly removable camera mounting plate allows camera positioning; the rear door has a large window for a good view of the camera and is completely separated from the front housing to facilitate camera mounting.
Open and close with just one hand
It's very easy to open and close the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV without any effort on the part of the user thanks to the side screw slots and lower centring pins; the camera is simply placed in the case on a sliding carriage that holds the camera securely in place. A lever locks the compartment securely inside the housing. The case is very stable thanks to the non-slip and wide rubber grippers on the underside.

The front portholes are equipped with high-quality materials to ensure perfect image quality. A removable flat port is attached thanks to markers and a bayonet mount on the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV body. An M67 thread allows the use of additional wet wide-angle and macro lenses.
Light
The Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV's internal flash can be used when an external diffuser is attached to the housing's light port. For better performance with wide-angle lenses, one or two external flashes can be connected via fibre optics using the supplied adapter.
Construction and safety
Only the best materials are used in the manufacture of Isotta underwater housings, such as anodised aluminium, which is anti-corodal and thermally coated, and stainless steel. A durable product that requires easy and quick maintenance by the user. So small and so rich in technology! Two high-precision and high-quality O-ring seals protect and ensure a perfect and safe watertightness for all moving and/or removable parts; a red alarm for moisture/water inside the housing is powered by a user-replaceable battery. The working depth is 100 metres. A Öse on the bottom makes it possible to secure the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV case with a cable/strap. Various accessories can be mounted using a top sliding tray and double threaded holes M6 and a 1/4 inch on the bottom.

The FRX100 VA R Housing was specially designed for the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III, RX100 IV, RX100 V and RX100 VA digital cameras.
The FRX100 VA R Housing features an M16 port specially designed for the Fantasea M16A Vacuum Valve (the valve is not included with the housing).
If the M16A Vacuum Valve is added to the housing, it enables using the housings pre-dive vacuum check.
The addition of the M16A Vacuum Valve allows confirming the watertight seal of the housing prior to the dive.
In addition, Users can monitor the housings water tightness during the dive (whether with or without adding the optional M16A Vacuum Valve) using a newly designed RECHARGABLE moisture detector and alarm.

The CMC is an extremely powerful super-macro accessory lens optimized for use with both fixed-lens compact, mirrorless interchangeable lens, and DSLR cameras. Part of Nauticam's in-house lineup of wet and dry optics, these accessory lenses are purpose built and rigorously tested to outperform any other optics on the market.
Introducing CMC-1
Smaler, lighter, stronger
While the Nauticam Super Macro Converter (SMC) design inspired the development of the Compact Macro Converter, the CMC is actually more powerful. The CMC provides more magnification than the SMC with all compatible compact camera systems for which it was designed.
As expected, the CMC provides more magnification than any compact camera tested can achieve on its own, and does so with improved working distance. This combination makes CMC ideal for tiny, skittish subjects.
Using the popular RX100V as an example, the CMC-1 results in a magnification of 2.3X the smallest subject the camera is capable of photographing with no accessory lens (34.5mm v 80mm), and it does so with 1.4X the working distance (56mm v 80mm).
Results with the Canon G7X are even more stunning, providing 3.0X magnification at approximately 2.4X the working distance. To achieve the same image sizes with sealed magnifying lenses a +15 Diopter or stronger would be required, but no +15 Diopter lens can match the overall image quality of CMC-1. This is achieved while maintaining the smallest size and weight possible.
Breakthroug Lens Design
Prior to the development of the Nauticam accessory macro conversion lenses, achieving super macro underwater meant using tools that were designed for in-air use. These tools simply do not take into account the physics of shooting through water. Thanks to Edward Lai, Managing Director of Nauticam, the CMC-1 takes a radically different approach: hundreds of engineering hours utilizing computer software to model a lens that complements an entire system – camera, lens, port, air, and water – as a whole. This accounts for the critical air-water interfaces in a conversion lens design to achieve the best image quality possible. The improvements are stunning, measurable and a new standard in underwater macro imaging.
Uncompromised optical Quality
The CMC-1 is constructed from lenses precision crafted of specially formulated low-dispersion optical-grade glass, ground to the most demanding standards. This means greater sharpness and contrast on every shot and extraordinary resolution rivaling a macro lens used in air. Broadband anti-refective coatings effectively reduce common optical issues such as chromatic aberrations, coma, spherical aberration, and field deformation associated with underwater macro photography using traditional magnifying lenses. This means superior light transmission, accurate color and no distortion or vignetting in the most demanding situations. These exceptional optics are assembled in a rugged hard anodized aluminum housing, and nitrogen purged during assembly to eliminate fogging.
The CMC-1 is compatible with a variety of camera systems, but the most impressive increase in magnification comes when paired with the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for M43 Systems. This combination achieves a 2:1 reproduction ratio. This translates into an image 8.5mm X 6.3MM, and one of the most powerful macro imaging systems available.
Optimized for Autofocus
By utilizing a specially developed algorithm in the optimization process, the CMC-1 renders superior image quality over the full focusing range of the camera lens. This, combined with the high brightness and contrast of the image, allows the autofocus system of the camera to work well – often better than less powerful close focus lenses. Just as important are the out-of-focus (Bokeh) portions of the image that exhibit the same creamy smooth quality that photographers appreciate when shooting macro in air – all without color fringing common to traditional magnifying lenses.
Avoiding Diffraction
Due to the overall superior optical performance and precision focus of the CMC-1 it is possible to shoot larger apertures with excellent image quality. This avoids reaching the diffraction limit of high resolution sensors, and allows selective focus effects with narrow depth of field in super macro images.
Also compatible with Nikon AF-S 60mm Macro
While designed with compact cameras in mind, compatibility with larger formats has proven to be possible in some cases. Nikon AF-S 60mm Macro (not compatible with the earlier SMC-1) provides 1.5 : 1 Reproduction Ratio when with combined CMC-1. This combination is extremely versatile, covering fish portraits, 1:1 macro, and now 1.5:1 super macro on the same dive.
Mounting and Using the CMC-1
The CMC-1 ships with the common 67mm threaded lens mount. The CMC-1 has a protruding rear lens element, designed to place the accessory optic as close to the camera lens port as is possible, providing the best overall image quality when used with flip lens adapters. A flush mount adapter ring is used when attaching CMC-1 directly to an underwater housing, and is included with the lens.
Flip lens holders, available to suit most Nauticam housings and lens ports, provide the fastest and most convenient lens mount possible. The lens is always threaded in place, and available to be flipped down as needed.

INTRODUCING CMC-2
The CMC-1 became the benchmark other lenses are measured against with extremely high magnification and overall sharpness. The CMC-2 is a follow-up designed to give photographers using compact systems more magnification choices without sacrificing quality. New underwater photographers, or new system owners, will appreciate an easier-to-use lens with more accurate autofocus performance than stronger lenses can offer. More experienced users will find that CMC-2 is an ideal companion to CMC-1, allowing the perfect lens to be selected based on the subject size.
IMPROVED SHARPNESS
During pre-production testing we noticed a stunning increase in overall image sharpness when comparing shots taken with CMC-2 to those behind a flat port with no accessory lens whatsoever.
It became clear that with both compact cameras at full telephoto and mirrorless interchangeable lens systems the conversion lens markedly improved overall sharpness.
This is counterintuitive, as conventional wisdom implies that any conversion lens reduces image quality. In this case, the flat port degrades overall sharpness, and the optical correction offered by the CMC-2 restores it.
Simply put – an image taken underwater with CMC-2 is sharper than the same image taken with no accessory lens mounted. These are true water-contact corrective optics!

STUNNING MAGNIFICATION
The CMC-2 is the less powerful of the two Nauticam Macro Converters designed for compact cameras, but magnification when compared to the capabilities of these cameras with no accessory lens is still very impressive.
As an example, the popular Sony RX100V can capture an image area 160mm (6.3 in.) wide at its full telephoto zoom position at its minimum focus distance. With the addition of CMC-2, that image area is reduced to 55mm (2.2 in) wide. CMC-1 brings the minimum focus distance even closer, allowing a captured frame 36mm (1.4 in) wide.

MOUNTING CONFIGURATIONS
The same Nauticam bayonet system designed with the Wet Wide Lens (WWL-1) is also compatible with CMC-2. (P/N 81302). The bayonet mounting system is the attachment method of choice for shooting both macro and wide angle on the same dive.
Nothing beats the convenience of flip adaptors, allowing the accessory lenses to be flipped in place when needed, and conveniently swung out of the way for normal lens shooting. A flip adaptor is the best mounting system for macro only dives, or camera systems that don't support macro and wide angle lenses on the same dive (such as Canon G7X Mark II)
The new M67 Double Flip Holder for M67 Macro Ports, P/N 25108 allows both CMC-1 and CMC-2 to be used on the same dive for multiple macro framing options.
A WORD ON MAGNIFICATION
The industry standard macro lens magnification measure is a dioptric power, but we don't feel that is actually that useful. Dioptric numbers can be misleading. They are often multiple lenses stacked together, and the resulting stack doesn't always yield the power of its individual components.
In an attempt to make the power and utility of these lenses less confusing, we offer a simplified magnification factor. CMC-2 offers 2.8x magnification (as an average) with compact cameras currently supported by Nauticam housings. For comparison, CMC-1 results in 4.5x average magnification.

Powerful magnification with focal length 90mm (+11 diopter).
The maximum magnification when using this lens with 100mm range macro lens for a full frame SLR system is x2.23 (area ratio x4.98) (*3) which delivers middle power in between "UCL-67 M67/UCL-67 LD" (+15 diopter) and "UCL-165M67/UCL-165 LD" (+6 diopter).
While the UCL-67 delivers high magnification, it still offers long working distance. When using with 100mm range macro lens for SLR, working distance is 69mm (2.71in) at minimum focusing distance (*3).
Together with its compact size, the lens supports friendly lighting even at minimum focusing distance.

Optically designed sole use underwater to effectively suppress aberrations in all focus range to deliver high contrast and sharp images despite of shooting distance. (*4).
(*4) This lens is designed solely for underwater use and using on land will not magnify a subject and will have distortion on image edge or or vignetting etc.
Using HR glass makes lens size compact supporting wide range of camera system from 100mm range macro lens for SLR to compact digital camera (*5). Also compact lens body has less limitation of lighting enabling you to use wide variety of lighting techniques.
(*5) Usable zoom range is between 60mm and 100mm (35mm film equivalent). Beyond this range, there will be vignetting at wider side and deteriorated image quality at telephoto side.
The lens is consists of 3 elements in 2 groups and effectively suppresses chromatic aberration by using achromat lens inside. Also anti-reflection coating on all lens surfaces suppresses flare/ghost.
Optional "Lens Adapter Ring for UCL-67" is attached on the M65 screw thread of the UCL-67 allowing to stack INON M67 series, "UCL-165M67"/"UCL-330" on the front side of the UCL-67 to support even higher magnification for super macro imaging needs. (*6)
(*6) Any other higher magnification close-up lens, "UCL-67 M67","UCL-90 M67" or "UCL-100M67" are not recommended due to degradation of image quality.
Lens mount is highly versatile screw type "M67 Mount".
Optional "M67 Flip Mount Adapter for UCL-67" is available to replace with original M67 screw mount to use the lens on a flip mount such as Nauticam flip lens holder etc. This adapter allows the UCL-67 to locate close to housing lens port.(*7) (*8)
