The UCL-67 LD macro attachment lens is designed for high magnification yet excellent image quality with a comfortable long working distance that allows for easy illumination.
The UCL-67 LD offers super macro shooting for compact digital camera systems supported by the INON "28LD Mount Base"/"Lens Adapter Base" with lockable bayonet mount.
Bayonet adapterType 28LD Mount
High magnification with longer focal length (+15 diopters).
The maximum magnification of the UCL-67 with a 100 mm macro lens for full frame SLR is 2.76x (area ratio: 7.65x) at the minimum focusing distance. (*1)
The UCL-67 provides high magnification, but it still offers a long working distance. When used with a macro lens for SLR with 100 mm focal length, the working distance is 52 mm (83.4 mm from the body opening) at minimum focusing distance (*3).
Together with its compact size, the lens supports good illumination even at minimum focusing distance.
(*1) When used with AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED.
The lens consists of 4 elements in 3 groups, made of high refractive index glass.
The achromatic lens effectively suppresses chromatic aberration and the anti-reflective coating on all surfaces suppresses flare. It has been designed exclusively for underwater use to effectively suppress aberrations at all focal length ranges and provide unparalleled image quality for any subject distance.
The optional lens adapter ring for UCL-67 attaches to the M65 thread of the UCL-67 and allows the INON M67 series, "UCL-165 M67" / "UCL-330" to be stacked on the front of the UCL-67 to support even higher magnification for super macro shooting needs. (*2)
(*2) Other close-up lenses with higher magnification, "UCL-100M67" and "UCL-67 M67", cannot be used as these combinations significantly degrade image quality.
The lockable bayonet connection INON "LD Mount" is compatible. A simple, fast and yet reliable installation on "28LD Mount Base"/"LD Lens Adapter Base" is possible.
Optionally, the "M67 Flip Mount Adapter for UCL-67" is available, which can be replaced by the original M67 screw mount to use the lens on a flip mount, such as Nauticam flip lens mount, etc. With this adapter, the UCL-67 can be mounted close to the lens mount of the housing.(*3) (*4)
(*3) Not compatible with a flip lens holder with 57mm or smaller inner diameter such as from SAGA.
(*4) The original lens mount can be replaced by the customer using a precision Philips screwdriver to loosen the fixing screws.
Kompatibler Adapter:
- 28LD Mounting base (*5) (*6)
- LD lens adapter base (*5) (*6)
(*5) Compact digital camera with maximum optical zoom 5x or less.
(*6) Can only be used when the focal length is between 60mm and 100mm range at 35mm film equivalent. Outside this range, vignetting occurs on the wide side and image quality deteriorates on the telephoto side.
