Now you can concentrate on what really matters: Your creativity!  The color temperature of at 5600 Kelvin (5250K with diffuser). With its recharge time after a flash to full load of 1.5 seconds, the YS-D2 J is particularly fast. Excellent visibility at night The illuminated control panel is ideal for night diving. The color of the illumination ächanges to indicate the mode: aqua blue (in DS-TTL mode), blue (in slave TTL mode), orange (in manual pre-flash mode) and green (in manual mode without pre-flash). Universal ball with a 8mm diameter hole that allows to easily attach different underwater strobes (sea&sea and similar) to to strobe arms and other devices. It is made of anticorodal aluminum and anodized with 40 microns (military standard) to ensure the maximum durability and excellent resistance to wear and to sea salt. An o-ring placed at the center of the ball acts like a clutch: the ball tightened by the clamp can be loosened so as to move the arm in the water without having to re-tighten it.

The settings are (GN: 1 / 1.4 / 2 / 2.8 / 4 / 5.6 / 8 / 11 / 16 / 22 / 33). The value can be easily seen on the scale on the light intensity adjustment dial. Shooting in RC mode When shooting in RC mode with an OM SYSTEMS (OLYMPUS) camera, no custom settings are required. Light source This is a high-performance strobe that pursues quality of light, and its high luminous flux and wide beam angle are effective for wide-angle photography with fish-eye lenses and other wide-angle lenses. High light intensity GN33 The light output has a guide number (GN) of 33, one of the highest among general-purpose underwater strobes. The use of two discharge tubes increases power and achieves GN 33 at full flashing. Heavy underwater weight requires unexpected force to operate the clamp, but the YS-D3 DUO is unaffected by buoyancy, so operation is smooth.
