An easy to use, highly professional product has been created through techniques and innovations gained from years of experience. The housing for Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15 perfect handling by means of an adjustable strips. Easy access to all key/main camera controls by means of clearly labelled laser-engraved longlasting buttons. An easy and quick release camera mounting plate allows the camera positioning; the back door has a large window for a fine camera display view and it is entirely detached from the front body to make easier the camera fitting.

ONE HAND OPEN/CLOSE

It's very easy to open and close Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15, without any efforts by the user thanks to the side helicoid screw and the bottom centered pins; the camera is placed easily into the housing on a sliding tray that keeps the camera robustly in place. A lever locks the tray safely inside the housing. The housing stands with great stability due to sturdy and wide rubber feet located on the bottom.

PORT, CLOSE-UP AND WIDE-ANGLE LENSES

Front portholes are built with high quality standards of materials to ensure a perfect image quality. A removable flat port is fitted thanks to markers and a bayonet connection to Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15 housing. A M67 threaded end allows the use of additional wet wide angle lenses and macro lenses.

LIGHTING

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15 own strobe lighting can be used fitting an outside diffuser on the porthole. For better performance with wide angle lenses, one or two external strobes can be connected by optical fiber using the adaptor included.

CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY

Only the best materials are used to manufacture our housings such anodized aluminum which is anticorodal and thermo-coated and stainless steel. A longlasting product that requires easy and simple maintenance by the user. So small and so rich in technology! Dual high precision and quality O-Ring seals protect and ensure a perfect and secure watertight for all movable and / or removable parts; a red alarm for humidity/water inside the housing is powered by a battery replaceable by the user. Working depth is 100 metres. An hole positioned on the bottom allows to secure the housing for Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX15 with a line/strap. Different accessories can be fitted by means of an threaded M8 hole and double threaded M6 holes and one 1/4W on the bottom.

Dies ist ein kompaktes Unterwassergehäuse, das es dem Benutzer ermöglicht, das volle Potenzial der fortschrittlichen Kompaktkamera im Wasser zu nutzen. Alle Grundfunktionen und ergonomischen Verbesserungen, die Nauticam-Anwender inzwischen kennen und lieben, sind in NA-LX10 integriert.  Das Gehäuse wird aus einem massiven Aluminiumblock gefertigt und anschließend hart anodisiert, um korrodierendes Salzwasser zu versiegeln.  Sie wird über eine einfache, aber sichere, verriegelnde Drehfalle geschlossen. Die rechte Seite des Gehäuses ist so geformt, dass sie in die Handfläche des Benutzers passt, und der zweistufige Auslöserhebel von Nauticam ermöglicht eine klare Unterscheidung zwischen der Position des halben Drucks und des vollen Drucks.  Alle Funktionen sind klar gekennzeichnet, und eine m14-Zubehörsteckdose ermöglicht den Einbau eines optionalen Vakuumventils. Die LX10-Kamera stellt einige besondere Herausforderungen an den Gehäusedesigner - insbesondere den Blendenring, den Seitenverhältnisregler und den Ein-/Ausschalter. Die Leckageerkennung ist im gleichen Stromkreis integriert, so dass bei Wassereintritt eine akustische und optische Anzeige erfolgt. Das Nauticam-System ist temperaturkompensiert und eliminiert Fehlalarme, die durch eine Änderung der Außentemperatur oder durch die Erwärmung einer Kamera bei einem actionreichen Tauchgang verursacht werden.

Nauticam first "endorsed" the LX series in early 2011 with the LX5, recognising the image quality and performance of this compact system. The housing for the LX7 followed in 2013 and the NA-LX10 benefits from this lineage and is the most refined of the LX housings to date. This is a compact underwater housing that allows the user to realise the full potential of the advanced compact camera in the water. All the basic features and ergonomic improvements that Nauticam users have come to know and love are built into NA-LX10.  The housing is made from a solid block of aluminium and then hard anodised to seal out corrosive salt water.  It is closed by a simple but secure locking twist latch. The right side of the housing is shaped to fit in the palm of the user's hand, and Nauticam's two-stage release lever allows clear distinction between the half-pressure and full-pressure positions.  All functions are clearly labelled and an m14 accessory socket allows the installation of an optional vacuum valve. The LX10 camera presents some unique challenges to the housing designer - in particular the aperture ring, aspect ratio control and on/off switch. Although this requires pre-setting these three controls when installing and removing the camera, this housing gives the user complete and very ergonomic control over these important functions and even goes so far as to label the stops/positions for all three controls. The zoom lever is positioned for easy access and allows the video producer to zoom smoothly. A locking ring prevents overzoom when using the short connector. This housing also includes grip mounts and a shutter release extension for use with the optional Flexitray or Easitray, which provides extra stability - important when shooting high-definition video. The Nauticam leak alarm and vacuum monitoring system is installed as standard. This system gives an audible and visual alarm whenever water enters the enclosure, and when combined with an additional M14 vacuum valve (#25624), the watertight integrity of the system can be tested before entering the water and monitored during each dive. Integrated vacuum check and leakage warning system The Nauticam vacuum testing and leakage warning system is supplied as standard with NA-LX10.  In combination with an additional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constantly updated information on the watertight and safe diving condition of the enclosure.  A simple colour-coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the internal pressure is constant or if the enclosure is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature or by a camera heating up during an action-packed dive.
