MISSION CONTROL Nauticam's design philosophy is driven by allowing immediate access to all essential controls within easy reach of the handles, allowing the shooter to make adjustments without having to take their eyes off the screen. Within reach of the right handle are the trigger as well as a control dial for iris, a lever to capture still images as well as a double thumb lever for the white balance and autofocus. A recessed double thumb lever, situated between the trigger and the rear thumb lever accesses the ISO and Shutter Angle (Shutter Speed). Three assignable buttons are atop the housing near the right handle as well as three buttons on the right rear for HFR, Auto-Iris, Zoom and Menu. A thumb lever on the left side activates Review. The NA-BMPCCII features DSLR style ergonomic handles with stainless steel stiffening brackets that are compatible with the optional handle strap (PN 28130). The rear monitor window is compatible with the Monitor Shade for the NA-502 Housing (PN 17916) which attaches via four screws. The underside of the housing has mounting points for use with the Tripod Mounting Ball Set (PN 25218) removing the use for a bulky tripod plate. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-BMPCCII is built around the N85 Port System which offers a variety of port configurations for a large selection of lenses. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a four thirds lens mount making it compatible with the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 II R lens that when paired with the WWL-1 provides ultra-sharp full-zoom-through wide-angle performance. The WWL-1, when used with the bayonet mount system can be exchanged underwater for the optional CMC-1 or CMC-2 to allow for the capturing of up to 130º wide-angle, macro and super-macro all on the same dive. With the pre-installed vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nikon D6 is the brand's latest professional level DSLR that packs incredible autofocus capabilities and superior image quality to allow for capturing images and video in even the most challenging lighting situations or during the fastest action.  The D6';s rugged exterior is built around a full-frame 20MP CMOS sensor paired with Nikon's 105-point triple-sensor autofocus system that can allow the D6 to focus at even -4.5EV.  The D6 can also capture UHD 4K video at up to 30fps with a 1.5x crop. The D6 features dual XQD/CFexpress card slots which can be setup to record in an overflow or backup configuration. THE NAUTICAM NA-D6 UNDERWATER HOUSING Nauticam's lineup of aluminum housings are designed with the user in mind offering easy assembly, proven durability, intuitive control placement and an extensive range of optics and accessories.  The NA-D6 is designed specifically for the Nikon D6 to take advantage of the camera's customizability and powerful autofocus features. MISSION CONTROL The NA-D6 is designed with the Mission Control philosophy, placing the most used controls within easy reach from the ergonomic handles.  The NA-D6 features double thumb levers at the rear of the housing that trigger the AF-ON and REC buttons of the camera on the right side and PLAYBACK/INFO on the left.  Nested levers for ISO and the 'Pv' control are also located near the right handle for easy access.  A dual action lever for 'Fn1' and 'Fn2' customizable buttons a the front of the camera has been redesigned for enhanced usability over the NA-D5 version. FLASH TRIGGERING The NA-D6 ships with a pre-installed manual LED flash trigger which provides reliable flash triggering for the majority of optically triggered external underwater strobes.  A TTL version of the flash trigger (NA26308) is also available to provide automatic exposure control with compatible strobes. OPTICS AND ACCESSORIES The Nauticam N120 Port System supports a wide variety of Nikon F Mount lenses with both optical glass and acrylic port options.  The NA-D6 can also take advantage of Nauticam's water-contact optics such as the WACP-1, WACP-2 as well as the SMC-1 and SMC-2 which are designed to deliver the highest image quality possible underwater for both wide-angle and macro. LENS SUPPORT The Komodo features a Canon RF lens mount, but currently RED is only offering support of Canon EF lenses.  The Nauticam Komodo housing offers full support of the Canon EF to EOS R Adaptor along with the Canon EF to EOS R Adaptor with Variable ND Filter.  The left side of the housing features an easily accessible command wheel for smooth ND changes.  Once RED releases RF lens support, the Nauticam Komodo housing will be ready and fully compatible.   Regardless of EF or RF lens selection, changing lenses is quick, easy and doesn't require any tools.  Note that when changing between RF and EF lenses, the camera must be removed from the housing to remove or install the RF to EF adapter.  Nauticam is constantly testing new lenses to provide optimized port and extension combinations. ETHERNET REMOTE CONTROL While the Nauticam Komodo housing is engineered to allow for full control byt he operator, it also supports an ethernet surface feed in 5m (pole cam) and 45m (studio) lengths. The Z Cam E2 The Z Cam E2 range consists of three models, the namesake E2, the E2C and the E2G.   The E2 is the true powerhouse of the range, featuring a 4/3" WDR CMOS sensor that produces 10-bit colour with up to 16 dynamic levels. C4K can be shot at up to 160 frames per second in a variety of ProRes flavours, as well as Z Cam's RAW codec ZRAW partial-debayer. Taking advantage of the small form factor of the C500 Mark II and the C300 Mark III, the Nauticam NA-C500II is both ultra-portable yet offers full access to the camera's critical functions. Nauticam has taken a modular approach to the this system, similar to that of the DCS housings for RED and ARRI cameras with a wide variety of add-ons from top-handles to skids and movable trim weights. As with previous Cinema System housings, the Nauticam NA-C500II features large control knobs for focus and zoom which also feature marking disks that can be removed and marked with the desired lens position or focus information. The Nauticam NA-C500II uses the same N120 Port System as the previous NA-C200 housing which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading to the C500 Mark II or C300 Mark III. While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of EF-mount lenses, the real power can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics. This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations. The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6. The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 100mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier.

The N120 system also provides access to Nauticam's line of professional premium optics such as the WACP-1/2 and SMC-1/2. The housing also features adjustable handles with easy access to the cinema style zoom and focus knobs.  On top of the housing is a 1/4"-20 cheese plate which allows for a wide variety of accessory mounting points. The Nauticam Komodo is also backed by Nauticam's 2 year warranty. LENS SUPPORT The Komodo features a Canon RF lens mount, but currently RED is only offering support of Canon EF lenses.  The Nauticam Komodo housing offers full support of the Canon EF to EOS R Adaptor along with the Canon EF to EOS R Adaptor with Variable ND Filter.  The left side of the housing features an easily accessible command wheel for smooth ND changes.  Once RED releases RF lens support, the Nauticam Komodo housing will be ready and fully compatible.   Regardless of EF or RF lens selection, changing lenses is quick, easy and doesn't require any tools.  Note that when changing between RF and EF lenses, the camera must be removed from the housing to remove or install the RF to EF adapter.  Nauticam is constantly testing new lenses to provide optimized port and extension combinations. Large cinema-styled control wheels on the housing, located within easy reach of the handles, provide precise manual focus and zoom control with supported lenses when used with the corresponding lens gear set.   Not being limited to using DSLR lenses is crucial for cinema systems and the Nauticam Komodo housing, when used with the 16410 N120 to N200 Port Adapter can support the use of Cinema Lenses and the associated N200 Port System.  Installation is quick, easy and requires no tools allowing seamless lens switching in the field - even when changing between DSLR and Cinema lenses. INTERNAL MONITOR SUPPORT The Komodo has a built-in monitor on top of the camera. Swapping batteries in as simple as opening the housing as the camera does not need to be removed to access the batteries. ETHERNET REMOTE CONTROL While the Nauticam Komodo housing is engineered to allow for full control byt he operator, it also supports an ethernet surface feed in 5m (pole cam) and 45m (studio) lengths. By drawing a slight vacuum inside the housing using a reliable and compact manual hand-pump, the system is able to insure water-tightness before entering the water as well as throughout the dive. A simple color-coded LED lighting system, easily visible at the rear of the housing lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Nauticam has been a leader in cinema housings with offerings for RED, ARRI, Canon, PhantomFlex, Sony and now Z Cam. The NA-E2F uses the N120 Cinema port system, shared with Nauticam's other N120 platform cameras which allows for easy transition to the NA-E2F from other N120 Nauticam systems. The N120 system also provides access to Nauticam's line of professional premium optics such as the WACP-1/2 and SMC-1/2. The Z Cam E2-M4 can be used with either the Z Cam EF Mount or using the native MFT mount with Metabones EF-MFT Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x Adaptor.  When using the Metabones Speed Booster, the mounting position of the camera tray must be adjusted by the user.   There are 17 LANC control buttons ergonomically placed around the housing including dedicated iris+/iris-, record, focus near/focus far, eND+/eND-, and many more.  1/4"-20 size mounting threads are located on the top and bottom of the housing for easy mounting of cinema accessories. The NA-E2F supports an ethernet surface feed in 5m (pole cam) and 45m (studio) lengths.  The Z Cam E2 lineup offers a wide range of remote control options including live preview over ethernet.  This opens up the option of using an ethernet to lighting adaptor, then having an iPad or iPhone on the surface to allow monitoring and full control via the Z Cam app.   The housing also features adjustable handles with cinema style zoom and focus knobs.   The E2 lineup supports Sony NP-F series batteries and the NA-E2F matches this compatibility up to and including the FP-970. As with the NA-BMPCC2 and NA-E2, the NA-E2F allows for the internal mounting of a Samsung T-5 SSD drive as recording media making the transition from capture to edit seamless. The Z Cam E2 lineup requires an external monitor and Nauticam produces several options for both SmallHD and Atomos monitors.  To access the 12-Bit ProRes RAW Recording, you will need to use the Atomos Ninja V monitor with the Nauticam Ninja V housing.
