Ultra Wide Even Underwater Though an action camera is equipped with ultra wide lens, its coverage underwater will dramatically narrow down due to different refraction ratio between air and water. For example, maximum angle of view of GoPro® HERO10 Black is approx. 151° on land which will narrow down to approx. 94° when we put the camera in genuine dive housing and bring it underwater due to different refraction index. The INON UFL-G140 SD provides ultra wide semi-fisheye imaging with angle of view 140° underwater enabling wild underwater video work only with action cameras. * Measured angle of view by INON or calculated angle of view underwater based on the measured angle of view. Not confirmed by camera manufacture. The measured angle of view of “HERO3+ Silver Edition” is approx. 142°(air) which is less wide than the “Black Edition”. So angle of view underwater with this lens is less than 140°. The “HERO3+ White Edition” has not been tested. Dynamic CFWA Imaging Shooting through the INON UFL-G140 SD lens enables you to shoot a subject at close range to benefit deformed and/or perspective result. The native depth of field (DoF) of the GoPro® HERO10 Black on land is approx. 60cm/2ft to 8. With the INON UFL-G140 SD, DoF underwater will be extended to 4cm/1.6in to 8 closer to camera side. * DoF on land is based on focal length/aperture of camera lens and pixel pitch of the image sensor. DoF underwater is measured from "the forefront of the lens".

The magnetic immersion filter set for the T-HOUSING (for Hero 12, 11, 10 and 9) consists of 3 different filter disks made of precision acrylic glass, which can be placed safely and quickly using the magnets embedded in the front glass. There are 2 red tones for different diving depths in blue waters and a disc in magenta for green waters. The details of the recommended areas of application are only guidelines. Depending on the ambient conditions and personal taste, it is advisable to try different filters. Only suitable for the T-HOUSING 250m aluminum deep diving housing for Hero 12, 11, 10 and 9. Attention: Remove the protective film on both sides of the filter discs before use! The housing with camera shown is NOT included in the scope of delivery and is for illustration purposes only.

With the battery pack underwater, not only is battery life maximized - the T-Housing aluminum housing becomes a giant heat sink underwater. This makes recordings of 5 - 6 hours possible. The INON "UCL-G165 SD" underwater wide close-up lens enables you to shoot a subject from close range of the lens to capture the subject larger in a frame. Get Closer Minimum Focus Distance An action camera is a deep focus camera which does not require focusing but prevents a subject gets in focus in close range (within 60cm/2ft range in theory for GoPro® camera) thus not usable for underwater macro shooting. Using standard macro lens for a compact digital camera would not help the situation as it would create vignetting and very shallow depth of field preventing comfortable focusing. The UCL-G165 SD lens is so-called "wide close-up lens" specifically designed for action cameras based on their optical characteristic. The depth of field (DoF) underwater will be 5cm/2.0in to 35cm/1.1ft when using the lens for GoPro® HERO10 Black supporting closer minimum focus distance underwater to capture wow photos/clips. * The depth of field (DoF) on land is theoretical value based on focal length/aperture of camera lens and pixel pitch of the image sensor. DoF underwater is measured from "the forefront of the lens".
