Product number: NA17810
HAN: NA-EM10II

The compact design of the NA-EM10II  is designed to allow convenient access to the shutter release, front command dial, rear command dial, Fn1, Fn2, film and even the EVF/LCD shutter lever from the photographer's right hand. A rubberized zoom and focus control allows for ergonomic, tactile lens control.

The camera is easy to switch on without having to preset the controls. The O-ring of the back-mounted housing cover facilitates maintenance. Two fibre optic sync ports are standard and use the camera's built-in flash for flash triggering. To make the most of the E-M10 Mark II's excellent electronic viewfinder (EVF), Nauticam enables the installation of the popular 45º and 180º magnifying viewfinders, which offer the ultimate in composition and focusing capability. NA-EM10II accepts the new MIL viewfinders (NA32205 and NA32204), so no accessory window is required to mount the viewfinder!

High-quality professional optics

The WWL-1 wide-angle attachment lens, paired with an Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens, provides a full zoom through an ultra-wide field of view. In tests, this lens surpasses the corner sharpness and clarity of even very good micro 4/3 wide-angle lenses behind dome ports.

The WWL-1 is mounted via a quick-release bayonet system (NA83213), which allows quick and easy mounting and dismounting with one hand. An optional lens case provides space to park the WWL-1 lens when not in use. For close-up and macro photography, the Nauticam Compact Macro Converter (CMC-1, NA81301) allows you to capture images smaller than 2.5 cm. Ultra-wide, medium and macro imaging capabilities, all in the same dive!

The Micro 4/3 system supports a wide range of high-quality lenses from Olympus and Panasonic (in collaboration with Leica), and lenses from Sigma are increasingly being used. There are several lenses that work extremely well underwater (and at a reasonable price!). Some examples:

  • Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ: The ultimate all-rounder, this lens covers a very usable mid-range and has a unique macro mode. Photograph dolphins and nudibranchs in the same dive!
  • Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm/F3.5: This 180º fisheye lens focuses close and is razor sharp. Combined with a small port, there is no better CFWA (Close Focus Wide Angle) option on the planet.
  • Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f/2.8 Macro: This is an ideal macro lens for m4/3, and with the addition of the Nauticam CMC it becomes a super macro monster. Imagine filling the entire width of the frame with something just 8mm "large"!
  • Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH: The 7-14mm is a rectilinear lens, ideal for shooting people or sharks or wrecks.... objects where fisheye distortion is not desired. At the wide end, this lens is 114º wide, ideal for getting close to objects and reducing the amount of water in between. But a zoom goes up to 75º - ideal for reaching the slightly shadier looking subject. The very similar Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 can fulfill the same basic role at a lower cost.

There are many more options for the underwater photographer, including one of the several 14-42mm options, the Panasonic Lumix G X VARIO 12-35mm F2.8 ASPH. POWER O.I.S., Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO, Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH, Panasonic Lumix G 14mm F2.5 ASPH and the Leica DG Makro Elmarit 45mm F2.8 ASPH.

Nauticam's 45ºand 180ºviewfinders offer a large, clear view into the corner of the Olympus electronic LCD viewfinder and can be installed on the NA-EM10II without tools.

Flash connection for INON S-TTL

Reliable automatic flash exposure is possible with the NA-EM10II and a variety of optically triggered flashes. The Inon Z-240, D-2000, S-2000 and Sea&Sea YS-D1 flashes provide automated lighting and reproduce the camera's built-in flash with a proportionally higher intensity. This system delivers precise automatic TTL flash output - even in manual mode - without electrical sync cables! The NA-EM10II comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard sea style jack connectors. Nauticam fiber optic cables, which are available for both Inon and Sea&Sea flashes, offer the best light transmission and therefore a more accurate TTL than other fiber optic cables on the market.

Flashes can be attached to the housing via optional flash ball heads.

M14 Vacuum Valve II
Installing vacuum valve to housing Remove the plug of the M14 accessory port from the housing. Remove the cap from the vacuum valve. Tighten the vacuum valve to the housing with the tool provided. Building up vacuum Remove the cap of the vacuum valve. Connect the hand pump to the valve and pump several times until it reaches the target vacuum level. The LED light will turn flashing yellow while vacuum is building up, then steady green when the target vacuum level is reached. Attention: After the target vacuum is reached, i.e. steady green light, attach the cap back to the vacuum valve. It is recommended to leave the housing for at least 20mins to ensure it is sealed. If the LED light changes from steady green light to rapidly flashing yellow light, that means there is a leakage and please check every O-ring and conduct the vacuum test again. Please ensure that the cap is attached back to the vacuum valve before going underwater. Vacuum can be released by pushing the red release button. Attention: Please DO NOT attempt to go over the designated vacuum level, i.e. stop pumping when the LED turn green. Excessive vacuum level may lead to the malfunction of the camera and lens. Note: Although the vacuum indicator is designated to compensate for a certain amount of temperature variation, it is recommended to conduct the vacuum test in an environment where the temperature is stable. After set up, the meaning of the LED indicator in the housing: Flashing “Blue” light: Standby mode. The moisture alarm is active, and the system is ready for vacuum indication whenever a vacuum is detected. Flashing “Red” light with beeping sound:Moisture is detected. Flashing “Yellow” light: Some vacuum is detected, target vacuum level is not reached. Steady “Green” light: Target vacuum level is reached. Rapidly flashing “Yellow” light: Vacuum is dropping. (Will occur only after target vacuum level is reached) Rapidly flashing “Red” light: Vacuum is totally lost. Circuit stalled until switched off. (Will occur only after target vacuum level is reached)
