Sony A7 IV Underwater Housing by Nauticam
It's been three years since the release of the Sony α7III full-frame mirrorless camera and the followup α7IV delivers many of the new features we've seen in other models packaged into this true hybrid imaging system.  A new high-resolution 33MP BSI sensor powered by the BIONZ XR processor delivers 4k60p internal capture without crop in 4:2:2 10-bit 600Mbps quality or 30p downsampled from the full 7K sensor width.  Paired with massively improved autofocus, 15+ stops of dynamic range and new Active Mode 5-axis stabilization makes this a powerful high resolution photo and video platform worthy of the α7 badging. THE CANON G7X MARK III CAMERA Offering multimedia fluency within a compact design, the Canon PowerShot G7X Mark III is a sleek camera distinguished by its advanced sensor design and flexible imaging capabilities. Canon EOS R5C Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R5C CAMERA The Canon EOS R5C is the latest in Canon's full-frame mirrorless camera lineup which has gained unprecedented demand.  It features the RF lens mount which has the same large 54mm diameter but the ability to have larger rear lens elements that are closer to the sensor gives increased corner and outer edge sharpness.  The R5C uses an all new 45MP CMOS sensor with in-body image stabilization which can reduce shake by up to 8 stops.  The camera's Dual Pixel autofocus system uses 1053 autofocus points across the entire frame.   It is also capable of recording 8K video at 24p or 30p and 4K at up to 120p.   The EOS R5C can also use the large EF-mount lens lineup via three optional adapters, a simple EF to R adapter, one which supports the customizable control ring and another that features a drop-in filter mount. Both the Canon EOS R5C and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS RC5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the Port Chart. Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5C where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The upper thumb lever activates the "AF-On" and the lower the "Q" buttons while the sub-lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch to change from using LCD to the EVF. Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles. An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and will interface with the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R Mount Adapter with Control Ring using the optional gear (NA19561). Flash Triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. OM-Systems OM-1 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The OM Systems OM-1, the first high-end Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera from OM Digital Solutions. The OM-1 features a 20MP quad-pixel AF stacked CMOS sensor.  It is paired with the latest TruePic X processor to deliver 3x faster processing speeds and is capable of 120 fps shooting with the electronic shutter. The O-M1 can also capture 4K UHD or DCI at 60p in the OM-Log profile for great color grading range. The OM-1 camera by Olympus OM Systems has announced the OM-1. The new camera is supposed to top all previous models and have the absolute "WOW factor". Autofocus, image stabiliser and processor are said to be convincingly better. It will be available from the beginning of March. The OM-1 is to be the new MFT flagship from Olymus. With its 20MP sensor, it is said to be capable of 120 frames/s at full resolution. It also has an extremely fast image sensor. OM System promises that subject tracking and autofocus tracking will be faster and better than ever before. But there's also been a big upgrade in the image stabiliser. The Nauticam NA-OM1, similar to the OM-1 is a refinement of it's predecessors. Nauticam has produced housings for wide range of Micro Four Thirds cameras from Olympus and Panasonic. Throughout the evolution of Micro Four Thirds cameras, Nauticam has adapted our design to help image makers get take full advantage of every camera advancement. More than a simple waterproof case, the NA-OM1 integrates with the OM-1 to adapt and improve upon the camera's features for underwater shooting. MISSION CONTROL Regardless of where a dial or button may be found on the camera body, Nauticam engineers make sure it is located where it is needed most on the housing. This Mission Control philosophy drives the design of every housing and provides for the most intuitive and easy to use housings available. The NA-OM1 features a thumb lever, easily accessed from the ergonomic rubberized right handle that actuates the AF-ON control.  This back-button autofocus method prevents the camera from refocusing between shots, allowing the user fine control over a shot's focus and is critical whether shooting macro or fast moving wide-angle subjects. The TG-6, which also works inside the NA-TG7 housing, was a huge hit amongst underwater photographers as it was able to capture even super-macro images without any need for diopters. The TG-7 is a clear example of Olympus' drive to create a camera that rises to meet the ever-evolving needs of the traveling compact camera user. Canon EOS R3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R3 CAMERA The Canon EOS R3 in all respects appears to be the mirrorless sibling of the 1DX Mark III DSLR, clearly aimed at fulfilling many of the same roles while offering some additional capabilities through the use of the electronic viewfinder and the larger RF lens mount.  The full-frame 24.1MP Stacked CMOS sensor, in addition to having incredible low-light performance, can also capture full-width 6K video in both Raw and compressed formats at up to 60fps.  The R3 is paired to Canon's industry leading Dual Pixel AF system with 100% frame coverage and the now revived Eye AF system. DUAL PIXEL AF II Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus system has long been a favorite of underwater users, especially when it comes to tacking subjects.  With the R3, the system adds an additional 'Animal' recognition mode which might make the system even more reliable at following moving subjects.  Frame coverage is 100% with 1053 zones to ensure accurate focus wherever the subject may be. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE The ability to increase a camera's ISO with little penalty is of critical importance to underwater shooters for both stills and video as shooting with higher F-stop values delivers sharper corners and higher shutter speeds mean less motion blur.  The higher video frame rates also benefit by allowing the shooter to maintain a 180º shutter while still maintaining adequate aperture values.  When using color correction filters, which can often remove more than a full stop of light, compensation via ISO is not as much of an issue for overall image quality.  Maintaining dynamic range, even at high ISO levels is also important for those shooting still images using natural light or in poor water conditions. ENHANCED CONTROLS The R3 features an additional control wheel located at the upper right rear of the camera which doubles as the mode control.  This wheel can be assigned a variety of functions such as ISO and is adjusted by a dedicated control wheel on the housing within easy reach of the right handle.   VIDEO CAPABILITIES The Canon R3 can capture 6K video at up to 60fps in either Raw or more compressed formats.  The 6K capture uses the full sensor width which means no loss in field-of-view.  12-bit 6K capture is possible in both uncompressed Canon Raw or compressed Raw light formats.  10-bit H.265 is also possible in both the HDR PQ and Canon Log3 gamma curves to maximize dynamic range for post processing while maintaining smaller file sizes than a Raw format.  It's also possible (when using supported cards) to simultaneously record 10-bit 4:2:2 DCI 4K 60p video.  For those looking for higher frame rates, 10-bit 4:2:2 compressed 4K/120fps can also be captured, downsampled from the full sensor width.  A natively sampled 4K S35 crop is also an option, allowing for more magnification or the use of APS-C lenses.  The R3 also outputs a clean 6K signal over HDMI via an HDMI Micro Type D connector.  Direct custom white balance in live view is also now possible, making a critical function for underwater video even easier. STABILIZATION The R3 features 5-axis In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) which can offer up to 8 stops of correction allowing for even smoother video and less camera movement related blur. LARGE ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER The R3's EVF is an OLED 5.76M-dot that features an OVF simulation mode which leverages. the large dynamic range of the OLED screen to reproduce a scene the way it would look through an optical viewfinder.  The lower dynamic range of electronic viewfinders has always made them more difficult to use underwater, especially in high contrast or backlit scenes. This function can easily be switched on and off by assigning it to a custom function button.  When using the Electronic Shutter, which has an X-Sync speed of 1/180sec, the EVF delivers true no-blackout shooting up to 30fps.   Example setup THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself.  Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies.  Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available. OM-System Tough TG-7 (M52) underwater housing by Nauticam
The OM-System Tough TG-7 is the latest in their line of IP6X rated go-anywhere compact cameras. The TG-6, which also works inside the NA-TG7 housing, was a huge hit amongst underwater photographers as it was able to capture even super-macro images without any need for diopters. The TG-7 is a clear example of Olympus' drive to create a camera that rises to meet the ever-evolving needs of the traveling compact camera user. The resulting images had impressive magnification but there was no control over the depth-of-field and significant ambient light intrusion. With the TG-6, there is now a selectable Super Macro Focus mode available in Aperture Priority Mode. This gives the shooter complete control over the Aperture. Combined with the added ability to set a minimum shutter speed as high as 1/500sec and limit the maximum ISO, it is possible to regain control over both the depth-of-field and render clean black backgrounds free of ambient light. Underwater White balance Setting The TG-7 allows for even greater differentiation with depth-specific preset white balances. for shallow, mid-depth, and deep. These can be used inside the Aperture Priority mode and are helpful when shooting scenes lit purely by ambient light. Video Perfocmance Upgrades The 4K/30p video option can now be selected from the Quick Menu as opposed to switching the cameras Mode Dial over to Movie Mode. This combined the with the dedicated Super Macro Focus mode brings all the benefits listed above for still images to 4K video capture as well, all within the underwater-friendly Aperture Priority mode. The Nauticam NA-TG7 Underwater Housing Nauticam has supported the Olympus Tough series continuously since the TG-3. If even more flexibility is needed, the housing ships with a set of stainless steel stiffening brackets and a shutter release extension for use with the Nauticam Flexitray II system. It has a new 24MP full frame sensor, it is capable of recording UHD 4K/60p without any crop factor internally and also supports ProRes RAW recording up to 6K to an external recorder such as the Ninja V. The Canon EOS R6 II Camera The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is one of the latest in Canon's full-frame mirrorless camera lineup which has gained unprecedented demand.  It features the RF lens mount which has the same large 54mm diameter but the ability to have larger rear lens elements that are closer to the sensor gives increased corner and outer edge sharpness.  TThe R6 Mark II uses an all new 24MP CMOS sensor which boosts the resolution from its predecessor and also significantly improves its rolling shutter performance. The magic of the wet lenses is their tremendous versatility, paired with outstanding in-water performance. Fujifilm X-T4 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The X-T4, Fujifilm's latest APS-C mirrorless hybrid camera, adds a list of significant upgrades when compared to its predecessors.  Some of the most noticeable improvements are in-body stabilization, battery life, and auto focus tracking performance. As still/video hybrids become more popular, Fuji is offering a 26MP, high-resolution electronic viewfinder camera that can record internal 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 DCI/UHD 4K video or 4:2:2 over HDMI as well as shooting an impressive 20fps of continuous stills. FUJIFILM X-T4 The Fujifilm X-T4 features an APS-C CMOS 4 X-Trans 26.1MP Sensor. The X-T4 is powered by a proven X Processor 4 which provides fast performance and improved responsiveness. Newly added in-body stabilization delivers up to a 6.5EV benefit which is a significant addition for video shooters.  The improved autofocus tracking system now considers color and shape as well as distance information, providing a noticeable improvement over the X-T3.   Oversampled DCI or UHD 4K (using full sensor width) is possible at 30p whereas 60p can be recorded with a minor 1.18x crop. Sony FX3/FX30 Underwater housing by Nauticam

The ARRI ALEXA 35 sets a new standard for Super 35 digital video cameras, featuring an all-new 4.6K ALEV 4 CMOS sensor, a massive 17 stops of dynamic range and a host of new features that make it the new gold standard for digital cinematography.   The ARRI ALEXA 35 camera   The ALEXA 35 builds on ARRI's already impressive range of cinema cameras and is perfect for underwater production, providing a compact and feature-rich addition to the ARRI camera range. With just a pin and an Allen key, the entire mounting and lens control system is set up on the camera base plate outside the housing. This means that the rig can be set up on a table, in good light and with plenty of room to work. Once the camera is mounted on the base plate, the entire system slides into the housing and locks securely into place. Lens operation Similar to the ALEXA Mini and Mini LF hoods, the ALEXA 35 hood features an adjustable gear tower that allows you to control focus, iris and zoom via the knobs on the outside of the hood. This diver-controlled device fully meets the needs of a single operator. For more production-oriented shoots that require remote control, the redesigned Nauticam ALEXA 35 housing features two upper and two lower 15mm rods that allow the use of cforce Plus and cforce mini motors in conjunction with the ARRI Hi-5 handheld unit. Only the upper 15 mm rod is suitable for the larger cforce Plus motors.   Unlike the previous generation housings, the motors now drive the lens itself and no longer   via the adjustable gear tower.  With the standard housing, two motors can be mounted for short primes.  If you add the optional 100mm housing extension NA16422, you can mount 3 motors on the 15mm rods, which allows the use of zoom lenses or longer lenses. By creating a slight vacuum in the housing with a reliable and compact hand pump, the system can ensure watertightness before entering the water and during the dive. A simple color-coded LED light system, clearly visible on the Rück side of the case, indicates to the user if the vacuum is stable or if the case is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual signal is emitted in the event of water ingress. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, so false alarms due to changes in external temperature or camera heating during an action-packed dive are avoided.
