Sony Cyber-shot RX 100 V Pro Package by Nauticam
The Pro Package includes the NA-RX100V underwater housing from Nauticam: Flexitray handle rail with right and left handle  Trigger extension 2 ball head adapters Vacuum valve with hand pump With the RX100 V Sony has continued to add features to this workhorse compact camera and Nauticam is keeping pace with the new NA-RX100V. The NA-RX100V housing provides the ergonomics, build quality, and innovative feature set our customers demand in a tiny, travel friendly package. Nauticam designs are always improving, and new features integrated into each new release. The ergonomic experience has been tailored for a photographer's right hand on the side of the housing, placing key controls literally at the users finger tips. The SONY CYBER-SHOT RX100 V CAMERA Dubbed "the Fast Five" by DPReview.com, the fifth installment in the now legendary RX100 series adds exceptional autofocus speed and a mind blowing 24 frames per second burst mode to the already well rounded and capable feature set found on RX100 IV. The core RX100 DNA that has made this series so exceptionally popular is unchanged. These features include a large backside illuminated sensor in a compact body that can easily fit into a shirt pocket, a fast 24-70mm zoom lens, and Ultra High Definition Video. Speed, both in focusing, and continuous shooting, catapults RX100 V to the top of the compact camera class. The DSC-RX100 V adds a 315 point phase detect af sensor array covering 65% of the frame. Phase detect focus systems can acquire focus more quickly than the contrast detect enabled competition. Hunting for focus is virtually eliminated, and the continuous and tracking focus modes are much better at tracking fast action. The 24 fps Continuous Hi shooting mode (complete with autofocus, auto exposure, and raw capture capability) provides a completely new way of shooting behavior. Still photo strobes can't keep up with this frame rate, but with ambient light or LED video lights this high speed burst mode. Even the Continuous Mid mode is on par with the continuous shooting speeds possible with pro body DSLR cameras! Sony Cyber-shot RX-100 V Key Specifications: 20.1 MP 1"-type stacked CMOS Sensor f/1.8-2.8 24-70mm equivalent zoom lens Optical Image Stabilization 1/32,000 sec max electronic shutter speed (1/2,000 sec mechanical shutter) 24 fps continuous shooting Slow motion video recording up to 1000 fps (960 fps in NTSC mode) 4K (UHD) video recording with full sensor readout at 100 Mbps SLog2 gamma setting Tilting 3" 1.3m dot LCD Pop-up 2.36m dot OLED electronic viewfinder Built-in ND filter Wi-Fi with NFC THE NAUTICAM NA-RX100V UNDERWATER HOUSING PRO PACKAGE The NA-RX100V sets a new standard for compact camera housing design. It is the ultimate refinement of the models that came before it, and proven in the field. Nauticam designs are always improving, and new features integrated into each new release. The ergonomic experience has been tailored for a photographer's right hand on the side of the housing, placing key controls literally at the users finger tips. Some users, especially those wearing cold water gloves, prefer shooting from handles such as the Nauticam Flexitray and Easitray. To better support this style of shooting, a set of stainless steel handle brackets and amechanical shutter release trigger extension is included with every housing and this PRO package includes the Flexitray with right handle as well and two mounting balls for the handles. Ready for transformation The RX100V housings features an industry standard 67mm threaded port mount, meaning it is easy to attach a number of different wet mount lenses. A compact camera underwater is only as good as the optics in front of it, and the growing Nauticam accessory lens lineup sets new performance standards with every release. Big in macro All Nauticam lenses are engineered specifically for underwater imaging, not waterproof adaptations of lenses designed for use in air, resulting in superior image quality. The CMC provides visibly sharper images than competing macro lenses, especially in the corders, with noticeably less purple fringing. The lens design is also designed with autofocus systems in mind, easing the learning curve associated with high magnification imaging. On the macro end, the Compact Super Macro Converter (CMC) is the ideal choice and enables a subject 35mm wide by 23mm tall to fill the frame. This is over 4x magnification provided by the stock lens (stock lens images 160mm wide, CMC 35mm wide). Wide-angle attachment lens This completely sealed and underwater mountable optic is designed to be used in water – with the refractive index of optical glass to water accounted for at every step in the design process. Optimized for best wide angle performance at the 28mm equivalent focal length, the lens offers 130° diagonal field of view with low distortion, extremely high overall sharpness (especially in the corners), excellent contrast, and resistance to flare. The outstanding image quality of today's top compacts paired with Nauticam conversion lenses is stunning. They combine to form a complete system that covers the entire range from macro to super wide angle, and packs into a small backpack or shoulder bag Video The standard NA-RX100V housing supports HDMI out, via an optional HDMI bulkhead connected to the M16 accessory hole in the front of the housing. This means that the underwater videographer can use the excellent SmallHD 501 or 502 Monitors (in the NA-502S housing, p/n 17907), the Atomos Ninja 2 Recorder (NA-NINJA2 housing, p/n 17902), or even the Atomos Shogun UHD Recorder (Nauticam Housing p/n 17904). The RX100IV camera offers "clean" HDMI output, allowing high bit rate Apple ProRes recording at up to 4k 30P with Shogun. The line between a camcorder and still camera no longer exists, with examples like RX100 V providing excellent capture functionality for both still and motion images. RX100 IV is an excellent upgrade from your favorite action cam, and can even fill a POV or Pole Cam role on natural history productions.

Sony A7 IV Underwater Housing by Nauticam
It's been three years since the release of the Sony α7III full-frame mirrorless camera and the followup α7IV delivers many of the new features we've seen in other models packaged into this true hybrid imaging system.  A new high-resolution 33MP BSI sensor powered by the BIONZ XR processor delivers 4k60p internal capture without crop in 4:2:2 10-bit 600Mbps quality or 30p downsampled from the full 7K sensor width.  Paired with massively improved autofocus, 15+ stops of dynamic range and new Active Mode 5-axis stabilization makes this a powerful high resolution photo and video platform worthy of the α7 badging. THE SONY ALPHA 7 Mark IV Camera The Sony α7 line of full-frame mirrorless cameras has long been at the forefront of offering a variety of models with similar form factor that are geared towards different shooting styles.  With the α7 RIII and RIV, the focus was on low-light video-centric and ultra high resolution respectively while the α7IV marries the two to create a true hybrid shooting platform.  The Exmor R backside-illuminated 33MP full-frame sensor delivers high resolution still photos while leveraging the large sensor size to provide ultra-sharp and color-rich video downsampled from the full 7K sensor width. Camera Specs 33MP full-frame Exmor R™ BSI CMOS sensor with BIONZ XR™ processor 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 video without crop 4K 30p 10-bit 4:2:2 downsampled from full sensor width 7K w/o pixel binning Real-time Eye-AF for humans and animals S-Log3 gamma for maximum Dyanmic Range capture 5-axis in-body image stabilization AUTOFOCUS The α7IV's improved autofocus system borrows heavily from Sony's other α series releases of late using their Fast Hybrid AF system which combines phase-detection and contrast-detection to provide fast and accurate focus.  The AF area is expanded to cover almost 94% of the frame with 759 AF-points.  Sony's latest Real Time Tracking and Eye AF modes promise to provide both accurate focus tracking for stills and video.  A new Focus Map feature allows for easier visualization of depth of field when filming. to help insure the critical parts of your subject are sharp. 4K VIDEO 4K 60p video captured with 10-bit 4:2:2 quality at up yo 600Mbps without crop sets the α7IV squarely with its peers in video capabilities.  Adding in the option to capture 30p downsampled from the full 7K sensor width gives the user the option to choose the right mode for their shooting style.  Capturing video in the S-Log3 gamma profile gives access to the camera's full 15+ stops of dynamic range for increased latitude in post processing. IMPROVED CONTROLS In addition to upgrading the autofocus, video and still capture  capabilities of the camera, the α7IV also now has the option to maintain discrete settings for video and still modes.  The dedicated dial atop the camera makes switching between modes hassle free.  The menu system has also been upgraded to make navigation easier and more similar to other recent models. NAUTICAM NA-A7IV UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-A7IV underwater housing by Nauticam is designed as an optimized solution for both underwater still and moving image capture.  Outfitted with Nauticam's extensive lineup of accessories, the NA-A7IV can be customized to excel in either role.  The latest in a long lineup of Sony mirrorless system housings, the NA-A7IV features the same intuitively placed controls, easy setup, and rugged reliability user's have come to expect. MISSION CONTROL Never miss a shot looking for a button or dial.  Regardless of where the control may be found on the camera, Nauticam engineers have placed that control on the housing where it is needed most.  Essential dials and buttons are within easy reach of the reinforced ergonomic handles.  Atop the housing, a new dedicated lever allows quick switching between Still, Movie and S&Q (VFR Video) modes.  A dual thumb lever near the right handle actuates the REC and AF-ON buttons and a single lever near the left handle is for PLAYBACK.   HDMI 2.0 A large bore M24 bulkhead is located at the front of the housing for use with HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 1.4 (with a step-down adapter to M16) external monitors and recorders.  An additional M10 threaded mounting position near the front center of the housing also makes using an external monitor even easier.  The A7IV can output 4:2:2 10-bit 4K at up to 60fps to external recorders allowing for recording in edit-friendly codecs such as ProRes.  See the resources sidebar for additional details and recommended setups. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Built around the N100 Port System for Sony E-Mount, the NA-A7IV can support a wide variety of native lenses with a selection of Optical Glass and Acrylic ports.  When used with an E-Mount to EF-mount lens adapter and an N100 to N120 adapter (see Resources sidebar for supported adapters), the NA-A7IV can be used with the Canon N120 EF-Mount port system, expanding the capabilities of the system even further.  Going beyond conventional optics the NA-A7IV can leverage the unparalleled optical quality of Nauticam's Water Contact optics such as the WACP-1 which offers up to 130º field-of-view, full zoom through, an almost 0" minimum focus distance with supported lenses.  For macro, the SMC-1 and SMC-2 deliver tack-sharp super-macro magnification levels up to 4x with the Sony 90mm macro lens. VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M14 Vacuum Valve (25624). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive. STROBE TRIGGERING Triggering of external strobes is accomplished via the integrated fiber-optic bulkheads when using the optional Mini Flash Trigger for Sony (26302).  Electronic triggering is also via an optional Nikonos Bulkhead.  Note that when using this with the Vacuum Valve will require the optional M14 Offset Connector with Vacuum Valve II (25026).

Canon EOS R50 Pro Package by Nauticam
With the NA-R50 underwater housing, Nauticam introduces its latest innovation, underlining its commitment to pioneering new products with innovative design. The Canon NA-R50 ProPackage consists of: NA-R50 underwater housing from Nauticam Handle plate with 1-inch ball plugs. Fixing for handle plate outlet extension Vacuum valve with hand pump Large padded carrying bag The Canon EOS R50 camera Many underwater photographers wanted to leave the limited performance of their compact camera systems behind, but were reluctant to give up the compact size advantage and simplicity of this system. Other world travellers wonder if there is a way to downsize their DSLR without giving up too much performance. Nauticam has listened to this growing interest and its industry-leading engineers have responded with the new NA-R50. The brief was clear: to create the most compact and friendly housing possible for Canon's award-winning and remarkably compact EOS R50 mirrorless APS-C camera. The additional challenge was to make the housing as simple and straightforward as Nauticam's legendary compact camera housings, while making it even easier to achieve outstanding image results. The resulting housing represents a whole new category for Nauticam, while retaining its renowned ergonomics and quality. Important camera specifications 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-C) 4K movie recording without crop at up to 30 frames per second, oversampled from 6K Dual Pixel CMOS AF II Movie für close-up demo mode Electronic first curtain (12 fps) and electronic shutter (15 fps) for continuous shooting Advanced A+ Assist with expanded range of auto-compatible scenes. Longer than 30 minutes of video recording UVC/UAC compatibility for webcams and streaming The Nauticam underwater housing for the Canon EOS R50 Nauticam has always been at the forefront of underwater gear technology. It combines everything that makes the Nauticam range of housings a favourite among underwater photographers in a small and lightweight design. The new, innovative system allows you to capture images with ease. The new innovative system has been designed around the Canon RF-S 18-45 F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens, as this lens is by far the most versatile and practical RF lens that can be used underwater with the Canon RF APS-C format. The mount is therefore integrated into the housing and requires no additional maintenance, similar to the Nauticam compact camera systems. This lens delivers excellent results in wide to narrow fish portraits, but can easily be combined with Nauticam's excellent WWL-1 or WWL-C to achieve exceptionally sharp wide-angle coverage with full zoom, while maintaining the modest form factor. Nauticam's Compact Macro Converter with water contact optics can be added for a complete system that does it all and can be taken anywhere, fitting easily into a traveller's hand luggage. Made from sturdy aluminium, the NA-R50 body is not only lighter but also more compact than any previous Canon APS-C system. It is the perfect choice for photographers who want to capture stunning images and video with the industry's best autofocus, while enjoying the convenience of minimal bulk and maintenance. The housing comes ready to dive, as even the zoom accessory is included. Add the R50 camera and the RFS 18-45 and you are ready to shoot. Compact and versatile The dimensions of the NA-R50 underwater camera are so small that it can be handheld without a mount for maximum freedom when needed. It measures only 238 mm in width, 150 mm in height and 115 mm in depth. Compared to earlier APS-C camera bodies, the NA-R50 has an incredibly small footprint, which makes it appealing and travel-friendly. Which attachment lens to combine with the NA-R50? Nauticam has become justly famous for its pioneering underwater optical designs. These optics are a particular passion of Nauticam founder and managing director Edward Lai, and the various options offer exceptional performance with the NA-R50 underwater system. The magic of wet lenses lies in their enormous versatility, coupled with outstanding underwater performance. Both macro and super wide-angle interchangeable lenses can be available to the underwater photographer on the same dive. Below you will find a selection of the recommended options. The WWL-1Bis a wide-angle converter that is an excellent match for the Canon RF-S 18-45 F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. The WWL-1B offers a razor-sharp 130-degree diagonal field of view at 18mm and allows full zoom up to 60 degrees at 45mm. Focusing down to the glass is possible at all focal lengths and provides an amazing wide-angle capability at close range. The all-glass WWL-1B lens offers a sharper overall performance than any wide-angle lens behind a dome on a conventional system. For those who want an even smaller wide-angle option without sacrificing quality, Nauticam offers the WWL-C, a compact all-glass lens that is just as sharp as the WWL-1B but offers a zoom range of 116 degrees at 18mm to about 52 degrees at 45mm. Of course, it also focuses on the front optics. Macro lovers also have a choice. Nauticam recommends the lightweight CMC-1. and CMC-2 lenses for the highest image quality and better autofocus performance. Maximum magnification is achieved at a focal length of 45 mm. The CMC-1 offers more magnification, but is a little more demanding. The CMC-2 still offers a strong 0.6x magnification, but is a little more tolerant.   Flash release The NA-R50 underwater housing uses the pop-up flash of the Canon EOS R50 to provide seamless integration with fibre-optic flashes. Flashes that offer sTTL capability with fibre optics offer the possibility of full TTL compatibility with the R50. Integrated vacuum test and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum inspection and leak detection electronics are supplied as standard with the NA-R50. Combined with the included M16 vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant, up-to-date information on the watertight and submersible condition of the housing. A simple colour-coded LED light system indicates to the user that the vacuum is stable or that the case is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuitry so that an audible and visual signal is emitted when water is ingressing. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, so false alarms due to changes in external temperature or camera heating during an action-packed dive are avoided.

This housing provides unfettered access to all camera controls and functions, enabling users to fully utilize the camera's capabilities while diving. Its durable construction and user-friendly features make it an ideal choice for underwater storytellers seeking a dependable and efficient underwater housing Option. THE PANASONIC LUMIX S5II(X) CAMERA Panasonic has a knack for developing cameras that often fill a unique niche that have earned the brand a passionate following around the globe. So where does the S5II slot for the underwater enthusiast? First and foremost, this camera provides a remarkable value for a full frame, feature rich platform in a compact (for full frame) body. Despite its entry level pricing, it punches well above its weight class with some impressive specifications. Here is what stands out. Dual Native ISO The S5II is already a great low light performer with a 24mp Full Frame sensor, but with Dual Native ISO, a shooter can jump to the higher native ISO with less grain than what would be typical. State of the Art Image Stabilization Yes, many cameras sport IBIS these days, but Panasonic is in a different league. Hand held video is mind-bendingly smooth.  Built-In Cooling Fan Many recent top-of-the-line cameras from other manufacturers have had the video performance hobbled by overheating. But Panasonic has always prioritized video performance and has included built-in cooling. The result? Unlimited 4K internal recording times in 10-bit and 30-minute record for 6K 30p on either camera. Much Improved Phase Detection AF Not always a Panasonic strong point, the S5II makes huge strides in AF performance. Perks for the S5IIX The "X" offers even more video goodness. The NA-S5II/X is a prime example as this underwater housing is designed to work flawlessly with the Panasonic Lumix S5II and the S5X. This NA-S5II allows completely unrestricted access to all of the camera's controls, positioning critical controls like AF-ON directly at the photographer's finger tips.   The NA-S5II underwater housing features the rotary housing lock which is now standard on their more compact line of mirrorless camera housings. With this feature, you can easily open and close the housing with one hand.  Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with usability and the Mission Control philosophy means placing essential controls where they are needed, unrestricted by where they are located on the camera body. Placing the controls as close to the handles as possible and within easy and natural reach, the user can focus on composition and timing their shot while adjusting exposure or focus without taking their eye off the EVF or LCD. The NA-S5II has a thumb lever on the right rear side of the housing that comfortably accesses AF-On without ever letting go of the handle. An additional lever on the rear of the NA-S5II allows for focus mode switching between C/S/MF, while a multi-directional pad gives the ability to navigate the menu or move the focus points. EF and L Lens Support Sigma's MC-21 EF to L adapter allows for the use of Canon and Sigma EF-mount lenses to be used with the S5II/X camera. The NA-S5II Housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter but to allow for the use of the existing focus and zoom gears for Canon EF-mount lenses for the N120 Canon System along with the existing Canon N120 extension ring and port combinations for those lenses.  As more native L-mount lenses become available, those best suited to underwater use will be added to the system.  For full compatibility, you can refer to the port chart found here.   Flash Triggering For rapid-fire manual flash triggering, the NA-S5II is compatible with the Mini Flash Trigger (NA26305) which uses small LEDs to trigger external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cables (NA26216). Olympus OM-D E-M1II Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Compared to the previous OM-D E-M1, and all other Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras, the E-M1 II is an improvement in every way. The new 20MP Live MOS sensor provides a useful bump in resolution. Dual quad core processors combine to allow 60 fps burst shooting (18 fps with autofocus). An incredibly advanced autofocus system (121 focus points covering 75-80% of the frame) grabs subjects instantly without hunting, and doesn’t let go when tracking. THE OLYMPUS OM-D EM1 MARK II It takes more than just headline grabbing specs on paper to make a great underwater camera system, and the E-M1 Mark II does many of the less obvious things right. The “2×2” dial and button structure doubles the functionality of the control dials and assignable push buttons. Typically these dials control shutter speed and aperture when shooting in manual mode, but with a flick of the 2×2 lever they are reassigned to other parameters (like ISO and Exposure Compensation, as an example). The control dials provide the easiest way to access frequently used camera settings directly, and Olympus has doubled their usefulness! It seems to be a trend among camera makers to sacrifice battery life and handling in an effort to to reduce overall size. Olympus didn’t make this mistake with E-M1 Mark II. The substantial hand grip provides exceptional handling, even with larger lenses, and makes space to accommodate a large battery that offers an exceptional 440 shots per charge (based on the CIPA rating, and many more are likely in real world use). Also new, and notable, is a high bitrate UHD (4K) video recording mode coupled with very capable image stabilization. The camera offers HDMI output to an external monitor, providing an upgraded display for framing, exposure check, and focus confirmation. KEY CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS 20MP Live MOS sensor 5-axis in-body image stabilization system 121-pt hybrid AF system 60 fps burst shooting (18 fps with continuous AF, 10 fps with flash) Fully articulating 3? LCD display High-res electronic viewfinder Cinema (DCI) and UHD 4K video 50MP High-Res Shot mode Weather-sealed body USB 3 (Type-C) THE NA-EM1II UNDERWATER HOUSING BY NAUTICAM A camera of this caliber deserves an exceptional underwater housing. Five and a half years ago, Nauticam entered the Micro Four Thirds underwater housing segment. 17 housing models later, Nauticam is proud to have produced more mirrorless underwater camera housings than any other manufacturer. The Nauticam NA-EM1II isn’t a new design, it is a refinement of the housings that have come previously. The system is field tested, and underwater photographer approved. The housing is small, but not at the expense of functionality or ergonomics. Integrated handles provide a sturdy and comfortable base to operate the system from. An ergonomic shutter release lever, thumb lever for AE-L / AF-L, and well placed control dials provide the same operational feel as any Nauticam DSLR housing. Control buttons are placed within easy reach of the handles, with sufficient spacing to allow easy operation, even by feel. The ergonomic experience of this system is clearly influenced by Nauticam DSLR systems, with class leading control access and feel. More than just good looking, this is a rugged housing, ready to tackle thousands of hours of underwater abuse. Crafted from solid aircraft aluminum, the housing can reach depths of 100m with ease. The secure single rotating housing latch opens the housing back. The camera drops in easily. The rear mounted housing o-ring makes maintenance simple. Dual fiber optic synch ports are standard and take advantage of the camera included FL-LM3 flash for strobe triggering. To make the most of the E-M1 Mark II’s excellent electronic view finder (EVF), Nauticam allows for installation of the acclaimed 45º and 180º magnified viewfinders, providing the ultimate in composition and focus ability. The NA-EM1II is a professional grade underwater housing, supporting the pro-level E-M1 II camera body to its full potential. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS It’s all about the glass, and lenses are the key to terrific photography. This has always been a strength of Olympus systems, and the lineup is now stronger than ever thanks to the Nauticam Wet Wide Lens (WWL-1). WWL-1, paired with an Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ Lens or ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ*, provides a full zoom through ultra wide angle field of view. In our tests, this combination exceeds the corner sharpness and clarity of even very good micro four thirds wide angle lenses behind dome ports. WWL-1 will focus on its front element for unmatched close focus wide angle performance, and full zoom through means you can zoom to crop in camera for tighter framing. WWL-1 is mounted via a quick change bayonet system that allows fast and easy one handed mounting and removal. An optional lens caddy provides a place to park the WWL-1 lens when not in use. For closeup and macro work, the Nauticam Compact Macro Converter (CMC-1, PN 81301) allows images smaller than 1? wide to be captured. Ultra wide, mid-range and macro imaging capability, all on the same dive! There are many more options for the underwater photographer, including any of the several 14-42mm options, the Panasonic Lumix G X VARIO 12-35mm F2.8 ASPH. POWER O.I.S., Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO, Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH, Panasonic Lumix G 14mm F2.5 ASPH, and the Leica DG Macro Elmarit 45mm F2.8 ASPH. *12-50 is usable with WWL-1 from approximately 15.5mm – 50mm with WWL-1. VIEWFINDER OPTIONS  A clear view for fine focus and composition is critical for successful underwater photography, and nothing beats a magnifying viewfinder. These viewfinders use distance, not closeup vision, and provide a large, clear view of the high resolution Olympus electronic viewfinder. Available in Angled 45º (PN 32205) and Straight 180º (PN 32204) formats, both viewfinders have external dioptric adjustments for dialing in perfect correction matched to the photographer’s eyesight. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-EM1II as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve (PN 25624), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. FLASH CONNECTORS FOR OPTICAL TTL Reliable automatic flash exposure is available with the NA-EM1II and a variety of optically fired flashes. The Inon Z-240, D-2000, S-2000, and Sea & Sea YS-D1/YS-D2 strobes provide automated lighting, precisely reproducing the camera’s FL-LM3 flash at a proportionally greater intensity. This system yields accurate automatic TTL flash performance – even in manual exposure mode – with no electrical sync cables to flood! The NA-EM1II comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Nauticam Fiber Optic cables, available for both Inon and Sea & Sea strobes, provide exceptional light transmission for accurate TTL Performance. RAPID FIRE OPTICAL TRIGGERING The E-M1 Mark II camera with FL-LM3 flash is limited to 2-3 fps continuous shooting, even when a low manual power is selected in the camera flash menu. In situations where continuous optical shooting is required, Nauticam’s Mini Flash Trigger (26306) can trigger external strobes over fiber optic at up to 10 frames per second! The trigger is powered by onboard coin style lithium batteries, with thousands of flashes available from a set. Electrical triggering of legacy wired strobe systems is possible via an electrical Nikonos style bulkhead (optional).

As the cameras have evolved, so have the Nauticam housings. The NA-a1 underwater housing provides fingertip access to all key camera controls in a rugged and reliable aluminum underwater housing. Ergonomic camera control access is one of the defining strengths of a Nauticam housing, and the NA-a1 continues this tradition. Integrated DSLR-housing styled handles with ergonomic rubberized grips and stainless steel stiffening brackets add stability and accessory mounting points. The NA-a1 also features dual rear thumb-levers that are easily reached from the handle that access three of the most-used controls on the rear of the camera. The right lever actuates the AF-ON and RECORD buttons while the left lever is mapped to the PLAY button. Atop the housing on the left side are controls in the form of a MODE dial and FOCUS mode lever. The C1, C2 buttons as well as the EV compensation dial also have direct access from the top of the housing. The C3, which is typically assigned to control switching between the EVF and the LCD screen is easily reachable on the rear of the housing from the left handle. ACCESSORY PORTS The NA-a1 has both an M24 port at the front of the housing for both HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity (see sidebar for recommendations) as well as an M14 at the rear for the optional Vacuum Valve (25624). The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Nauticam's wide range of ports and in-house corrective optics are the perfect compliment to the NA-a1's inherent flexibility. Built around the N100 Port System, the NA-a1 supports a wide variety of Sony FE mount lenses, as well as EF mount lenses via adapters. In addition, there are several options available to use the groundbreaking WACP and WACP-2 wide-angle corrective lenses as well as the more compact and in-water removable WWL-1B. For example, With the Sony SEL1635GM FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM, the WACP 2 brings the original 105º field-of-view to an impressive 128º with sharper corners, an ~0" minimum focus distance and a more natural looking image than would be provided by a standard glass dome port. FLASH TRIGGERING Both fiber-optic and electrical strobe triggering options are available. The Nauticam Universal Fiber Optical cables attach to the built-in bulkheads atop the housing and feature modular connections for both Sea&Sea-style bushings and INON threaded connections. Canon EOS R3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R3 CAMERA The Canon EOS R3 in all respects appears to be the mirrorless sibling of the 1DX Mark III DSLR, clearly aimed at fulfilling many of the same roles while offering some additional capabilities through the use of the electronic viewfinder and the larger RF lens mount.  The full-frame 24.1MP Stacked CMOS sensor, in addition to having incredible low-light performance, can also capture full-width 6K video in both Raw and compressed formats at up to 60fps.  The R3 is paired to Canon's industry leading Dual Pixel AF system with 100% frame coverage and the now revived Eye AF system. DUAL PIXEL AF II Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus system has long been a favorite of underwater users, especially when it comes to tacking subjects.  With the R3, the system adds an additional 'Animal' recognition mode which might make the system even more reliable at following moving subjects.  Frame coverage is 100% with 1053 zones to ensure accurate focus wherever the subject may be. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE The ability to increase a camera's ISO with little penalty is of critical importance to underwater shooters for both stills and video as shooting with higher F-stop values delivers sharper corners and higher shutter speeds mean less motion blur.  The higher video frame rates also benefit by allowing the shooter to maintain a 180º shutter while still maintaining adequate aperture values.  When using color correction filters, which can often remove more than a full stop of light, compensation via ISO is not as much of an issue for overall image quality.  Maintaining dynamic range, even at high ISO levels is also important for those shooting still images using natural light or in poor water conditions. ENHANCED CONTROLS The R3 features an additional control wheel located at the upper right rear of the camera which doubles as the mode control.  This wheel can be assigned a variety of functions such as ISO and is adjusted by a dedicated control wheel on the housing within easy reach of the right handle.   VIDEO CAPABILITIES The Canon R3 can capture 6K video at up to 60fps in either Raw or more compressed formats.  The 6K capture uses the full sensor width which means no loss in field-of-view.  12-bit 6K capture is possible in both uncompressed Canon Raw or compressed Raw light formats.  10-bit H.265 is also possible in both the HDR PQ and Canon Log3 gamma curves to maximize dynamic range for post processing while maintaining smaller file sizes than a Raw format.  It's also possible (when using supported cards) to simultaneously record 10-bit 4:2:2 DCI 4K 60p video.  For those looking for higher frame rates, 10-bit 4:2:2 compressed 4K/120fps can also be captured, downsampled from the full sensor width.  A natively sampled 4K S35 crop is also an option, allowing for more magnification or the use of APS-C lenses.  The R3 also outputs a clean 6K signal over HDMI via an HDMI Micro Type D connector.  Direct custom white balance in live view is also now possible, making a critical function for underwater video even easier. STABILIZATION The R3 features 5-axis In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) which can offer up to 8 stops of correction allowing for even smoother video and less camera movement related blur. LARGE ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER The R3's EVF is an OLED 5.76M-dot that features an OVF simulation mode which leverages. the large dynamic range of the OLED screen to reproduce a scene the way it would look through an optical viewfinder.  The lower dynamic range of electronic viewfinders has always made them more difficult to use underwater, especially in high contrast or backlit scenes. This function can easily be switched on and off by assigning it to a custom function button.  When using the Electronic Shutter, which has an X-Sync speed of 1/180sec, the EVF delivers true no-blackout shooting up to 30fps.   Example setup THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself.  Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies.  Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam engineers design each housing to insure that controls are placed where they are needed most and within easy reach of a natural hand position.  The NA-R3 features large knurled control dials for the main and sub-command dials as well as an additional shoulder dial for the customizable control wheel of the R3.  A fourth control wheel, near the front of the left handle can articulate the ring of the optional EF-to-RF lens adapter when using EF lenses.  There is a dual thumb lever on the right side for Record and AF-ON as well as single levers for M-Fn and Fn2.  A lever on the left side actuates the Pv control which can change between exposure preview and OVF simulation modes on the EVF.  An additional dual thumb lever on the left side is for Playback and Magnification. HDMI 2.0 AND MOUNTING POINTS The R3 can output clean 6K 60p over HDMI and the NA-R3 features a large bore M24 bulkhead to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to an external monitor or recorder.  Mounting the monitor or recorder or other accessories is even easier with 3x 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as an additional M10 mounting point atop the housing.  Check the resources sidebar for supported monitor/recorder housings and recommended accessories. FLASH TRIGGERING Flash triggering can be accomplished via the two included M14 electronic bulkheads (One is pre-installed in the M24 bulkhead via a removable M26-M14 adapter).  If using fiber-optic triggering, the built-in fiber optic bulkheads can be used with either the optional manual LED or TTL-flash triggers to provide the desired type of strobe power control. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-R3 is built around the N120 Canon RF-mount Port System which supports a wide array of Canon RF mount lenses with a selection of optical glass and acrylic ports.  With lens-removal controls for both EF and RF mount lenses, the NA-R3 can support both lens mount types without modification to the housing.  The EF-RF lens adapter is accommodated inside the housing which allows for the use of the N120 Canon EF-mount Port System without any additional extension rings.  When switching between an EF and RF lens, the camera must be removed to install or remove the adapter.  The Nauticam lineup of Premium Professional Optics can deliver unparalleled optical quality and expanded creative options. When used with the Canon RF 14-35 F/4 IL USM lens, the WACP-2 creates a stunning 140º field-of-view while maintaining an incredibly natural looking image and excellent corner sharpness.  The SMC-1 delivers 2.3x macro magnification to the RF 100mm macro lens while the SMC-2 delivers 3.3x. VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M16 Vacuum Valve (25625).

OM-System Tough TG-7 (M52) underwater housing by Nauticam
The OM-System Tough TG-7 is the latest in their line of IP6X rated go-anywhere compact cameras. The TG-6, which also works inside the NA-TG7 housing, was a huge hit amongst underwater photographers as it was able to capture even super-macro images without any need for diopters. The TG-7 is a clear example of Olympus' drive to create a camera that rises to meet the ever-evolving needs of the traveling compact camera user. The OM-System Tough TG-7 Camera The Olympus TG-7 shares the same 12MP BSI CMOS sensor with the TruePic VIII quad-core processor. The camera itself is IP6X rated to be waterproof up to 50ft (which is actually IPX8 spec!) as well as crushproof to 220lbf and freezeproof to 14º F and features an upgraded rear LCD screen. The feature that made the TG-5 a true macro game-changer was the 1cm minimum focus distance. For the TG-6, this feature has seen stronger implementation through the ability to use it outside of the dedicated Microscope Mode. Key Camera Specifications 12MP BSI CMOS sensor Waterproof to 50ft 4K/30p UHD Video Capture 1080/120p FHD High-speed Video Capture Selectable Underwater White Balance Modes Selectable Autofocus modes On the TG-5, in order to take advantage of the camera's ability to focus at a mere 1cm from the lens to capture true super-macro images, the camera needed to be set to the dedicated Microscope Mode which forced the camera into a wider-open aperture. The resulting images had impressive magnification but there was no control over the depth-of-field and significant ambient light intrusion. With the TG-6, there is now a selectable Super Macro Focus mode available in Aperture Priority Mode. This gives the shooter complete control over the Aperture. Combined with the added ability to set a minimum shutter speed as high as 1/500sec and limit the maximum ISO, it is possible to regain control over both the depth-of-field and render clean black backgrounds free of ambient light. Underwater White balance Setting The TG-7 allows for even greater differentiation with depth-specific preset white balances. for shallow, mid-depth, and deep. These can be used inside the Aperture Priority mode and are helpful when shooting scenes lit purely by ambient light. Video Perfocmance Upgrades The 4K/30p video option can now be selected from the Quick Menu as opposed to switching the cameras Mode Dial over to Movie Mode. This combined the with the dedicated Super Macro Focus mode brings all the benefits listed above for still images to 4K video capture as well, all within the underwater-friendly Aperture Priority mode. The Nauticam NA-TG7 Underwater Housing Nauticam has supported the Olympus Tough series continuously since the TG-3. Despite the camera being waterproof on its own, the addition of a machined aluminum Nauticam housing transitions the TG-7 into a true underwater image-making platform. Access to essential controls is not only translated into the housing but improved with large well-placed and clearly labeled buttons and dials. The NA-TG7 is compatible with both the TG-6 and TG-7 camera models. M52-Mount The NA-TG7 has the same M52 thread as the OM-System Tough TG-7 and the Olympus Tough TG-6 and 5. Accessory Mounting Options With the Nauticam NA-TG7 there are both a cold-shoe and M10 threaded mounting point on the housing. These can be outfitted to support a variety of lighting accessories. If even more flexibility is needed, the housing ships with a set of stainless steel stiffening brackets and a shutter release extension for use with the Nauticam Flexitray II system. The addition of the tray, an Adjustable Right Handle and optional Strobe Mounting Balls (NA71311) creates an even more stable shooting platform with up to four accessory mounting locations. NOTE: When using with NA71207 Flexitray II, the baseplate must be rotated 180º and the handles adjusted accordingly. Flash Triggering The NA-TG7 is able to transmit the camera's internal flash to supported external strobes via Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cables which plug directly into the Sea&Sea style bulkheads on the front of the housing. The included diffuser can also be attached to use the internal flash as the primary light source. LDC Magnifier The NA-TG6 can be outfitted with Rails (NA25123) above and below the rear LCD display window that can accommodate the LCD Magnifier with Dioptric Adjustment (NA25106). The magnifier not only functions as a shade to assist in bright shooting conditions it can magnify the screen to help judge critical focus. The magnifier features a dioptric adjustment to set the focus for your vision, even when using a prescription mask.

The GFX100 II features the latest X-Processor 5 chip which powers the improved autofocus system that covers virtually 100% of the image area. The camera's large built-in OLED viewfinder has a 9.44M-dot resolution and features variable refresh rates and resolution to enhance battery life. Video from the GFX100 II uses the full sensor width, preserving the original field-of-view of the lens, and can be recorded internally as 4K 60p video. Over HDMI the GFX100 II can output either an uncompressed 16-bit raw or 10-bit 4:2:2 4K video signal, excellent news for those using external monitors/recorders such as the Atomos Ninja V. With dedicated settings for both still or video modes, switching between shooting modes is quick and easy via a lever atop the camera. The camera's "Q" menu can be customized to provide the most valuable information as either an overlay on the live-view representation or as the entire LCD area. The NA-GFX100II Underwater Housing by Nauticam The NA-GFX100 II is built with the singular focus of creating an underwater housing that blends ergonomic design, intuitive control placement, and rugged field-tested durability. The resulting machined aluminum housing can be further refined with the addition of accessories from magnifying viewfinders to external monitors/recorders. Achieving the full benefit of the stunning 102MP resolution requires the use of underwater optics that are designed with high-resolution lenses in mind to deliver the highest optical quality possible. Mission controll design The NA-GFX100 II is designed with our Mission Control philosophy which dictates placing controls where they are needed most, meaning no more missed shots fumbling for a control or dial. The majority of exposure and focus controls are within easy reach of the ergonomic handles that feature stainless steel stiffening brackets to reduce any unwanted movement even when using large strobes or video lights. A multi-direction pad on the upper right of the rear panel gives access to the camera's joystick. A double lever near the right handle activates the 'AF-ON' and 'Q' controls. Also on the right side are levers for Focus and View modes. Also, a new front lever to quickly switch between aperture and ISO sensitivity. The left side has a double lever for 'PLAYBACK' and 'DISP' as levers for turning the EF-X20 TTL flash on or off and a front double lever to access Fn5 & Fn6. On top of the housing is a lever for switching between 'STILL' and 'VIDEO' modes. Premium proffesional Optics Built around the N120 Port System, the NA-GFX100 II supports a variety of GF-mount lenses with a selection of optical-quality glass and acrylic ports as well as access to Nauticam's lineup of premium professional optics. These optics are designed using industrial lens design software to provide unparalleled optical quality and impressive fields of view. The Wide-Angle Conversion Port 2 or WACP2, when used with the Laowa 17mm f/4 GFX Zero-D lens can achieve an impressive 140º FOV with an almost 0" minimum focus distance and incredible corner sharpness even at wider-open apertures such as f/5.6. Flash Triggering Flash triggering is via the optional 26351 Flash Trigger for Fujifilm and built-in fiber-optic bulkheads. An option for electronic strobe connection without TTL is also possible using the optional M14 Nikonos bulkhead with a universal hot shoe. HDMI Output The GFX100 II can output high-quality uncompressed 4K video over HDMI and the NA-GFX100 II is compatible with the Nauticam HDMI 2.0 system via the front M24 bulkhead. Even when recording video internally, the use of an external monitor over either HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 is a great tool to help with composition or image review. Vacuum Check and Leak detection system The NA-GFX100 II comes with the Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system as standard equipment. Combined with an optional accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water-tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color-coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action-packed dive.
