The X9 combines the benefits of an excellent action cam with one of the best underwater housings available. This housing remains compatible with new X9 models, so you can upgrade to the latest technology very cheaply when a new X9 model is released. Other accessories, such as the optional filter and macro system, can also continue to be used.

To ensure the sustainability of this concept, every single part of the housing or the filter and macro system is available as a spare part.

For all other activities outside diving, a small and lightweight plastic housing is available as an option.

The Sony® Exmor® IMX377 sensor in the X9 offers excellent light sensitivity with a high dynamic range. To fully exploit this potential, the sensor looks through a fast 7-element real glass lens that is absolutely sharp all the way to the corners.

Maximum performance and reliability through the latest microelectronics

For the first time, an ACTIONPRO is based on a chipset with a quad-core processor that offers high performance with low power consumption. This enables extremely stable operation and recording times of 90 minutes and more, even in UHD resolution with a bit rate of 64mbit.

The ACTIONPRO is the first chip set with a quad-core processor.

The high performance of the chipset enables the provision of several additional functions, such as lens equalisation, image stabilisation and viewing angle adjustment.
