Optoelectronic TTL converter for the modern generation of Sea&Sea housings for Nikon, including the latest D850, etc. All Nikon cameras are compatible, regardless of model and TTL protocol version.

.TTL board supports 2 optical ports + 2 electrical jacks can be connected. The standard kit contains optical LED emitters with adapters made of transparent plastic (2 pcs.). The electrical cable/connector (1 or 2 pcs.) for connection to the Nikonos V-box is an optional product that must be purchased separately (please specify when ordering).
TTL and HSS on the RetraFlash
The fantastic TTL accuracy allows the photographer to relax and rely entirely on automatic flash exposure control. Many creative tasks are made possible by using extremely fast HSS shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 with the Retra Pro flash in manual mode. The TTL converter firmware also has some other important updates related to its common functionality.
- The Retra PRO profile can be set by the user üvia the TTL converter's built-in rotary switch. .
- The TTL/M modes can be switched underwater simply by using the camera name or the flash button.
- In manual mode, the flash intensity can be adjusted manually üvia the camera wheel/scale, but also üvia the flash control knob.
- (+/-) TTL flash compensation is supported by the firmware, the full range is available via the camera control in the range -3ev......+3ev.
- The firmware supports sync settings for the 1-st /2-nd curtain and the rear curtain.
- Continuous (serial) recording is supported.
- The HSS firmware of the TTL converter supports the HSS functionality of the Retra Pro flash. The built-in rotary switch must be set to the Retra Pro profile (position - "7"). Available HSS shutter speeds for Sony A7-A9: 1/320 ....1/8000 sec. The Retra flash allows the HSS flash intensity to be adjusted with the rotary knob.
- In the updated firmware, switching to HSS shutter speeds is also included in the general functionality of the TTL converter (also for all other positions of the rotary switch), - usable for shooting with ambient light at high shutter speeds if required. However, the X-Sync speed limit (1/250 for Sony A7-A9) is still automatically supported for TTL modes, as required for mono flash TTL underwater flash.

- The converter features an automatic on/off switching module that saves battery power. No mechanical switch is required to switch UW Technics TTL converters on and off.

Nikon D500 Underwater Housing by Sea&Sea
Much lighter than the previous models.

Nikon Z7/Z6 Underwater Housing by Sea&Sea
State-of-the-art housing for the full-frame mirrorless Nikon Z7/Z6 camera. Compact, compatible with the Optical YS Converter and ergonomically designed.
Compact design
Taking advantage of the Z7/6 camera’s compact design and light weight, the housings has been designed accordingly to enhance these features. Compared to SLR MDX-850 camera housing, the MDX-Z7/6 is 100g/3.5oz lighter in weight on land.
Weight: MDX-Z7 2700g/95.2oz (on land), MDX-D850 2800g/98.8oz (on land).
Ports and gears for the MDX series SLR housings can be used.
The MDX-Z7/6 is compatible with the system chart for the MDX series SLR housings. You can utilize F-mount lenses with the mount adapter FTZ and ports/gears for the MDX series housings.
Compatible with Optical YS Converter/N1. TTL strobe photography possible.
An optional Optical YS Converter which converts the camera’s hot-shoe TTL signal into an LED light signal is compatible with the housing. Manual strobe photography is also possible.
Designed for both F mount lenses with the mount adapter FTZ and Z mount lenses.
The Focus/Zoom dial has two gears, one for F-mount lenses with the mount adapter FTZ and the other for Z mount lenses. The MDX-Z7 has been designed to take into consideration various Z mount lenses which will soon be available.

Using unprecedented precision machining, the dimensions of the housing are similar to those of the camera. In addition, the revised internal design has also helped reduce weight. The MDX-D850 is approximately 11% (350g/12.3oz) lighter than the previous MDX-D810 housing.

Leak Alarm Unit as standard equipment

Optical YS Converter/N1 can be built into the housing
Optical YS Converter/N1 can be built into the housing Compatible with Optical YS Converter/N1 for MDX housing which converts the camera’s hot-shoeTTL signal to a light signal. Both TTL and manual strobe modes can be used and controlled from the housing using a Fiber-Optic Cable II.
* Fiber-Optic Cable ll is required when using the Optical YS Converter.
* Serial numbers 124000274 and above are compatible with the Nikon D850. Serial numbers below 124000274 are not compatible. New firmware and/or conversion of the converter will be required.

Die ab sofort verkauften MDX-D7100 Gehäuse sind sowohl mit Nikon D7100 als auch mit Nikon D7200 Kameras kompatibel. Bei MDX-D7100-Gehäusen mit den folgenden Seriennummern kann es jedoch erforderlich sein, die Moduswahl-Taste auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses geringfügig zu ändern. Ohne Änderung kann es schwierig sein, die Taste zu drücken und zu drehen. In diesem Fall wenden Sie sich bitte vor der Bestellung an uns.

Kompatibel mit dem neuen optischen YS-Konverter/N1 für MDX-Gehäuse, der das TTL-Signal der Kamera in ein Lichtsignal umwandelt. Sowohl TTL- als auch manuelle Blitzfotografie ist mit einem Glasfaserkabel II möglich.

Kompatibel mit den Suchern VF180 1.2x und VF45 1.2x.
Durch die Befestigung des VF180 (#46112) oder des VF45 Prismensucher (#46111) (Vergrößerungsverhältnis von 1,2x) am Gehäuse erhöht sich die Vergrößerung um 1,2x und das gesamte Sichtfeld ist gleichzeitig sichtbar. Empfohlen für Benutzer, die sich einer strikten Bildkomposition und Fokussierung verschrieben haben.
* Bei der Installation von VF45 1.2x am Gehäuse kann es zu Schwierigkeiten beim Zugriff auf die Löschknopf-Funktion kommen. Um dieses Problem zu vermeiden, schlägt der Hersteller vor, stattdessen VF180 1.2x zu verwenden.

MDX-D7100 Weitere Merkmale

Der Mehrfachwahlschalter (der oft unter Wasser verwendet wird) ist gleich aufgebaut wie die Kamerasteuerung und kann auf die gleiche Weise bedient werden. AF-Bereiche und Fokuspunkte können durch Drücken des Wahlschalters geändert werden. Die Mehrfachwahlschalter-Steuerung ist so angeordnet, dass sie mit der Hand am Griff zugänglich ist.
Der in der Kamera eingebaute Blitz kann vom Gehäuse aus aktiviert und deaktiviert werden. (Wenn die zusätzliche Lichtschutzplatte befestigt ist, kann diese Funktion nicht verwendet werden).
Ausgestattet mit einem Zubehöranschluss, der für den HDMI-Ausgang verwendet werden kann.
