The optical glass dome is also exceptionally durable.      Durable Construction Lens barrel is made from durable Aluminum alloy with black hard coating. During development, the lens was thoroughly tested in extreme conditions (depth, temperature, salinity and radiation) to ensure resistance and durability on the long run.  Rotatable Wings Lens wings feature an improved design and can be rotated anytime underwater according to image composition without using any tools. Vertical and horizontal images can be easily captured without having the sun or strobes reflecting on the dome and interfering with crystal clear images. Universal Compatibility The lens features a 67mm thread mount, compatible with most housings available in the market today. Perfect to be used with compact, mirrorless or SLR housings. Two different adaptors are included with the lens, to ensure the best fit with all type of housings, sparing the need to solve ahead any compatibility issues or source additional adaptors separately. The base of the mount is covered with a rubber ring, providing a firm grip of the lens during installation and removal. The Fantasea UWL-04F Wide Angle Lens is a high quality "wet" super wide angle lens that attaches to the 52mm thread of the flat port and can be mounted and removed during the dive. It is designed for compact cameras with a 28mm lens (35mm equivalent). It is perfect for photographing underwater landscapes, divers, shipwrecks and schools of fish without moving far from the subject, yet taking full advantage of visibility and artificial lighting.  It also allows focusing at short distances, making it perfect for CFWA (Close Focus Wide Angle) shooting.  Compatibility. The UWL-04F is compatible with most cameras with a 28mm lens (or higher focus range). It can also be used with some cameras with a wider lens by zooming in to avoid a vignette.  The UWL-04F has a 52mm thread and can be mounted directly to lens mounts with a 52mm thread, or with a compatible adapter to lens mounts with a different thread. The EyeDaptor M67-F52 lens adapter is included and allows the lens to be mounted on bodies with a 67mm threaded mount.
