Compact and handy

Compact size with 90mm outer diameter and 48.3mm length makes it easy to carry around. Thanks to the thin "XD Mount" design which does not sacrifice lens optical performance, the overall set size remains compact when attached on a housing.

Dual use land/underwater

Maximum view angle underwater is 95° which gets widen to 159° when using on land providing fisheye images without complicated and expensive gears.

Super wide Option

Optional Dome Lens Unit IIIA, Dome Lens Unit IIIG widens original view angle to approx. 141°.

Newly designed optics provides quality underwater Images

Totally renewed optical design effectively suppresses flare/ghost even in backlit condition to provide sharp and high quality image together with optimal lens positioning relative to camera master lens.

Usable with All Zoom Range

Unlike conventional wide conversion lenses, which are recommended to be used only at zoom wide end as zooming results in poor image quality in peripheral areas, this lens manages to keep high quality image regardless of camera's zoom setting.

Optical Anti-Reflection Coating (AR-Coating)

All component lenses are finished with optical anti-reflective coating, which thoroughly suppresses flare and ghosting providing stable image quality in backlit scenes where flare and ghosting are likely to occur.

Replacing the original lens mount with an optional lens mount can convert lens type. Below options are available for type conversion.

Maximum Underwater Angle of View 141° Installing the Dome Lens Unit III will increase UWL-95S XD / UWL-95S M52 / UWL-95S M67 / UWL-95 C24 M52  native underwater coverage approx. 95° to approx. 141°. Two Different Dome Materials to Choose; Acrylic or Glass Optical multi-coating effectively suppresses flare/ghosting likely to happen in clear and bright underwater condition to provide quality images with appropriate contrast. The glass version delivers stable results in any situation, so is recommendable for those shooting in various Scenes. High transparency and lightweight optical acrylic dome provides quality image on a level with that of optical glass dome. Acrylic is better tolerated than polycarbonate to discoloration by inevitable ultraviolet rays outdoors or scratches during long-term usage assuring underwater use. The acrylic version is budget-friendly so would be good choice for those thinking to start wide angle photography. Dome Lens Extension IIIG
The Dome Lens Extension IIIG uses a multi-coated optical glass lens that provides high image quality under all shooting conditions. Dome lens extensions features a multi-coated optical dome element that effectively suppresses flare/ghost images and provides a sharp image with stable contrast even when shooting in bright and clear water. Installing this super wide-angle option on the UWL-95 C24 increases the underwater angle of view to approximately 141° and reduces the focusing range at a minimum focusing distance of 0 cm to bring the subject into focus on the lens surface. Verdict: Superior ultra-wide dome lens suitable for a wide range of shooting conditions, not only for wide seascapes but also for Close Focus Wide Angle (CFWA). The dome lens extensions IIIA and IIIG use the same lens tube, so that other dome material can be used if necessary (e.g. when replacing damaged original dome material). NOTE: The IIIA/G dome lens unit must be used with the UWL-95 C24 series underwater lens and cannot be used as a standalone lens.
