Close-up lens with 165 mm (+6 diopters) high magnification and 165 mm shooting distance from the lens surface when the camera's focus position is set to infinity. By using a minimum focusing distance, the minimum shooting distance is shortened so that you can get closer to a subject, enabling close-up photography with high magnification.
Dual use underwater / on land. Even at the same shooting distance, it is easy to capture a subject at the desired size by adjusting the zoom setting (*1).
The lens construction consists of 2 elements in 2 groups with high quality optical glass with internal coating to more effectively suppress optical aberrations and bring out the optimum performance of the combined master lens compared to a lens with only one double convex element.
The lens barrel has a standard screw mount on its front to hold another INON M67 series close-up lens for super macro imaging (*2).
Lockable bayonet connection INON "LD Mount" compatible. Simple, fast and yet reliable installation on "28LD Mount Base"/"LD Lens Adapter Base" is possible.
The UCL-165LD attaches to a compatible camera/ housing via the "28LD Mount Base"/"LD Lens Adapter Base" designed exclusively for each housing.
(*1) For underwater use only. Compatible with zoom range from mid to telephoto. Vignetting is expected when used on land and the zoom wide-angle setting underwater.
(*2) Stackable attachment lens is the INON "M67 Mount series" close-up lens "UCL-330" or "UCL-165M67". This product (UCL-165LD) cannot be stacked together.
