NA-760D housing for Canon EOS 760D/Rebel T6s

With the pre-installed vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Canon EOS 1DX Mark III Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Introducing NA-1DXIII The Canon EOS-1D X MARK III Camera  The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III is the brand's flagship DSLR camera is constructed around a redesigned 20.1MP CMOS full-frame sensor.  The new sensor is designed to give the camera both exceptional still and motion picture capabilities that satisfy the professional image and filmmaker's criteria.   Resolution, Speed and Sensitivity The 20.1MP CMOS sensor has the highest ISO range of any Canon EOS camera at 100-102,400 with expandability options for a low of 50 and a high of 819,200 equivalent.  In Live View the Mark III will capture 20fps, even with mechanical shutter and has a continuous burst rate of 1,000 RAW or RAW+JPEG images thanks to the enhanced DIGIC X processor and the use of CFexpress 2.0 recording media. Autofocus Canon's legendary Dual Pixel autofocus is the benchmark for underwater imaging.  With the Mark III, Canon has increased the number of AF zones to 525 and adds Servo AF for moving subjects and claims their Movie Servo AF can now operate down to -6 EV during video recording. Video Recording With 12-bit 5.5K RAW 60p internal recording, the EOS-1D X Mark III has positioned itself to not just maintain but also to grow the already large following it has in the underwater filmmaker community.  While RAW may not be for everyone, the Mark III can also record DCI 4K at 60p from the full sensor width in 10-bit 4:2:2 using the H.265 HEVC codec.  The ability to shoot using the full sensor was not possible with the Mark II and returns the full field-of-view so essential in wide-angle underwater video.  There is still the option to shoot cropped DCI 4K as well (using about 75% of the camera's sensor width) , giving some extra magnification when using macro lenses or even a little more zoom for wide-angle.  Video can be captured with the cinema Canon Log OETF profile.  This profile, developed for the C300 and C500 cinema cameras allows capture of the full 12 T-stop exposure latitude of the new sensor.   Durability and Battery The EOS-1D X Mark III has a 500,000 shutter release rating with reduced black-out and mirror bounce characteristics in addition to extensive weather sealing in keeping with it's position as the flagship DSLR.  For those migrating or adding the Mark III to a workflow containing the Mark II will rejoice in the Mark III's use of the same LP-E19 battery which delivers up to 2 hours of RAW or compressed 4K recording or a CIPA rated 2,850 still images using the viewfinder or 610 shots in Live View.  This is a dramatic increase from the Mark II which was rated at 1,210 and 260 shots respectively.  This long record time gives the Mark III a distinct advantage over mirrorless systems that may record similar quality levels but offer shorter battery life. The Nauticam NA-1DXIII Underwater Housing Nauticam has been providing innovative aluminum housings since the original EOS-1D X with each evolution adapting to the ever changing role this camera plays in underwater image making.  The NA-1DXIII adds a host of video-centric enhancements as well as more refined ergonomics and control access for all shooting situations.   Video Recording While the EOS-1D X Mark III can capture incredible 5.5K 12-bit RAW internally, it can also output uncompressed DCI or UHD 4K video over HDMI at up to 30p.  For those that prefer to use a more edit-friendly codec such as ProRes or DNX, the addition of an external monitor or recorder is an option.  The NA-1DXIII features the large-bore M28 bulkhead that supports Nauticam's HDMI 2.0 cable system and supported monitors/recorders such as the Atomos Ninja V.  The system also supports the HDMI 1.4 standard for use with non-recording monitor solutions such as the SmallHD 502 Bright and comes with an M28 to M16 step-down adapter pre-installed.  See the sidebar for recommended monitor housings and necessary connection accessories. Mission Controll Regardless of where a button or control dial may lie on the camera body, Nauticam engineers obsess over making sure that access to that control on the housing be intuitively placed for ease of use to insure no shot is missed while searching for a button or dial.  The NA-1DXIII features a double-action thumb lever reachable from the right handle that actuates the AF-ON and RECORD buttons on the rear of the camera.  A recessed dual-action lever that rests between the right handle and the housing triggers ISO and the M.Fn controls.  A dual-action thumb lever on the left side is for PLAYBACK/INFO and another dual-action lever on the front left of the housing os for the customizable PV and FN controls.  Large textured control dials on the right side access the main and sub command dials and a large dial on the left side is for controlling lenses equipped with manual focus or manual zoom gears. Flash Triggering The NA-1DXIII supports flash triggering via the built-in fiber-optic bulkheads atop the housing through the use of Nauticam's Manual or TTL flash triggers.  The manual flash trigger provides high speed optical triggering of supported strobes using LEDs powered by an internal user-replaceable battery.  For TTL, the Nauticam Canon TTL Flash Trigger can be used.  The NA-1DXIII also comes with two M14 5-pin Nikonos bulkheads pre-installed along with a Canon to dual Nikonos bulkhead hot-shoe cable for electronic strobe triggering.  The M14 bulkhead is installed along with an M16 to M14 step-down adapter. Integrated Vaccum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-1DXIII as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve (PN 25625 for M16 or 25624 for M14), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. Premium Professional Optics Optical performance is just as necessary as camera performance and this becomes even more critical given the challenges of filming underwater.  The Nauticam NA-1DXIII uses the same N120 Port System as the previous NA-1DXII which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading to the Mark III.  While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of EF-mount lenses, the real power of the EOS-1D X Mark III can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics.  This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations.  The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6.  The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 100mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier.

Panasonic Lumix S1/S1R Underwater housing from Nauticam
With the ability to accommodate both Panasonic LUMIX S1 and Panasonic S1R cameras, the Nauticam NA-S1R housing offers tremendous versatility to the underwater photographer. Nauticam's drive for innovation and focus on real-world usability is clearly reflected in the NA-S1R's features.   Although the two cameras may have different strengths, the NA-S1R is designed and built to give both video and photography enthusiasts easy access to all the controls and functions, exactly where they need them. Operation Nauticam engineers are obsessed with ease of use, and the Mission Control philosophy means they place essential controls where they are needed, regardless of where they are on the camera body. By placing the controls as close as possible to the handles and within easy and natural reach, users can concentrate on the composition and timing of their shot while adjusting exposure or focus without taking their eye off the viewfinder or screen.   The NA-S1R has a double thumb lever on the left rear of the body that accesses DISP and playback, while a double thumb lever on the left front activates the customisable Fn1 and Fn2 buttons.  A rear thumb lever on the right side is for AF-On and REC.  A lever on the right side of the NA-S1R allows the focus mode to be switched between C/S/MF and a multi-directional pad that provides the ability to navigate through the menu or move the focus point. Sigma EF lens support The MC-21 EF to L adapter from Sigma allows the use of Sigma EF lenses for use with the S1 and S1R cameras. The NA-S1R underwater housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter, but also to allow the use of the existing focus and zoom wheels for Sigma lenses with Canon mounts, as well as the existing extension ring and port combinations for these lenses.     Flash release Optical flash triggering with automatic exposure (TTL) is supported by the Panasonic DMW-FL70 clip-on flash (sold separately). For quick manual flash triggering, the NA-S1R is compatible with the Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger (NA26309), which uses small LED units to trigger external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fibre Optic (26216).  A TTL flash on/off switch on the top of the housing allows the DMW-FL70 flash unit to be activated or deactivated in water.  HDMI 2.0 output To take full advantage of the S1's video capabilities, the NA-S1R features the large-size M28 connector for HDMI 2.0 connections, such as those used on the Atomos Ninja V in conjunction with the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V housing (HDMI 2.0). Vacuum testing and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system is supplied with NA-S1R as standard. Combined with an additional vacuum valve (NA25625 or NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant information about the watertight and submersible condition of the enclosure. A simple colour-coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is tight or that the enclosure is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress.  The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature or a camera heating up during an action-packed dive. ARRI ALEXA Mini Kamera Digital Cinema System (inkl. Domeport)
This housing was designed in collaboration with HydroFlex, the world's leading underwater cinema equipment rental company owned by Pete Romano, ASC. Pete has over 30 years of experience designing underwater housings for film cameras and numerous credentials as an underwater photographer from some of Hollywood's most memorable feature films. Pete's expertise, combined with Nauticam's unmatched design and manufacturing expertise, create the perfect underwater housing system for Alexa Mini - available from HydroFlex Partners worldwide. The Alexa Mini is ideal for use on drones, gimbals and integrates perfectly with the Nauticam Cinema System.  The 4:3 Alexa sensor, complete with anamorphic de-equeeze, ArriRAW and ProRes recording in front of the camera on CFast 2.0 cards in an underwater system, captures footage that intersects seamlessly with other Alexa cameras on set, with the same workflow. Easy camera preparation The Nauticam system is designed for both the owner/operator and rental markets and is very easy to set up. Armed with just a coin and a #3 Allen wrench, the entire support and lens control system is built on the camera base plate outside of the housing. This means that the rig can be set up on a table, in good light, with plenty of working space. Once the camera is mounted on its tray, the entire system slides into the housing and locks securely into place.   Optically coated dome port Our exclusive 250mm optically coated dome port comes with every system and is, in our opinion, the best optic available for cinema lenses. The 250 mm dome port diameter - 10 inches - is key to good wide-angle imaging with many cinema lenses underwater. Smaller domes can work well with close-focusing SLR lenses, but many cinema lenses have a longer minimum focusing distance in the 35-40cm (14-16?) range.  Using the Arri Master Prime T1.4/14mm with its 40cm MFD as an example, the 250mm dome gives much better results with much less corner softness than smaller domes. This is the same dome used in the optical system developed in conjunction with HydroFlex for Alexa65 and used in feature film productions.  The glass dome is robust and extremely scratch resistant.  Broadband anti-reflective coatings eliminate reflections, flare and ghosting from port optics. A rugged machined aluminum screen protects the dome and provides additional impact resistance.  Battery configuration The housing comes with an Anton Bauer "Gold Mount" battery plate and LEMO connector for the Alexa Mini camera. There is ample room for a range of battery pack sizes to be used in the enclosure, resulting in long operating times.  Surface-powered performance is also an option for all-day, networked use. Weight and trim control A sliding weight bracket allows the front and rear fairings to be dynamically adjusted in the water, providing a natural up or down position as needed.  The bracket accepts readily available dive weights that can be easily obtained in the field. Additional trim weights can be attached to the housing slides, or to trim mounting locations strategically placed on the inside of the housing to adjust neutral buoyancy and left-right balance. . Universal lens control Unencumbered control from the surface is a key criterion for many top underwater experts, and these requirements have been incorporated into as many forms as possible throughout the design process.  The basic "diver controlled" system fully meets the needs of a single operator, but our range of accessories aimed at production sets makes the Nauticam housing as much at home on a feature set as it is on an Indo-Pacific coral reef. The housing includes enough space for internal mounting of Arri "cforce mini" motors. These motors control the lens control of the housing, not the lens itself, which means that any lens the housing carries can be set up for surface control of focus, iris and zoom. Alexa Mini has built-in motor control that allows the system to be set up without a motor control unit!  These motors are mounted on specially designed brackets that are attached to the camera bay and do not need to be removed when changing lenses or pulling the camera out of the housing. . The housing also comes with two 3/4" Hydroflex connectors so that the power supply, remote control and remote monitoring umbilical from other Hydroflex rental systems can be used on Alexa Mini. An enormous range of lenses is supported, from very small Zeiss standard speeds to very large cinema-style zooms. Our port system has been tested with Arri UWZ 9.5-18, the most advanced wide-angle lens ever made, with excellent results.

Canon EOS 1DX Underwater Housing by Nauticam
