Nikon Z9 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE NIKON Z9 MIRRORLESS FULL FRAME CAMERA Nikon's Z9 takes a divergent step from similar top-level mirrorless full frame systems from Sony and Canon by removing the mechanical shutter altogether. This departure, along with the powerful processor allow for the true no-blackout or 'Real-Live" electronic viewfinder (EVF). With a maximum 3,000nit brightness, the EVF promises an even more natural viewing experience similar to an optical viewfinder. The 'F3' button comes pre-set to remove all overlay data from the EVF for an unobstructed composition-focused workspace.  The Z9 is built around a 45.7MP stacked CMOS sensor with exceptional low light performance and 14-bit raw image capture.  The ISO range of the Z9 is 64 to 25,600 with expansion possible to 32-102,400.  The EXPEED 7 processor features advanced noise reduction to maximize image quality at even higher ISO values. AUTOFOCUS Nikon's autofocus has seen dramatic improvement with the Z series and Z9 continues that evolution with AF that works all the way down to -8.5EV (with supported lenses) and features advanced 3D subject tracking. Furthermore, the subject detection system can be set to auto-select the subject type such as animals or people. With over 400 points into auto-detect area, this is sure to deliver exceptional tracking across the frame. 8K VIDEO The EXPEED 7 processor also allows for 8K UHD 30p internal recording with advanced heat dissipation to prevent overheating with an 8K/60P Raw recording firmware update coming in 2022. 10-bit 4K UHD can also be recorded with full pixel readout or with a 2.3x crop factor, exceptional for getting even more macro magnification. The future firmware update will add 12-bit 8K/60p in either Nikon's RAW format or ProRes RAW HQ.  Internal recording is available in either H.265 (8-bit), H.265 (8,10-bit) or ProRes HQ 422 (10-bit) formats to support different workflows.  The Z9 is equipped with dual CFexpress Type-B card slots that also accommodate XQD media. THE NAUTICAM NA-Z9 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-Z9 brings embodies the experience gained by producing professional housings for Nikon's flagship DSLR and mirrorless cameras, blending them to create the most intuitive underwater imaging platform available. F AND Z MOUNT COMPATIBLE The NA-Z9 uses the N120 Port System for Z-Mount full-frame lenses. When using F-mount lenses, the FTZ adapter is inside the housing which allows for the same port configuration as is found on an F-mount DSLR system such as the NA-D6 or NA-D850. Convenient lens release buttons on the housing for both F and Z mount makes lens changes a snap regardless of platform without having to remove the camera from the housing; only when installing or removing the FTZ adapter. MISSION CONTROL Essential control are placed within easy reach of the ergonomic handles and easy setup means more time in the water and less time working on your rig. Within easy reach of the ergonomic left handle are finger-actuated levers for the customizable 'Fn1' and 'Fn2' buttons as well as the AF-Mode button. A double thumb lever triggers the PLAYBACK and DISP buttons. On the right side is a double thumb lever for the AF-ON and REC control as well as recessed lever for ISO and a forward placed lever for the 'Fn1' button. HDMI OUTPUT As a true hybrid shooting platform the NA-Z9 is just as comfortable being outfitted to capture video as stills. External monitors and recorders can easily be connected via the large M24 bulkhead which supports both HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connections. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-Z9 is built around the extensive N120 Port System that supports a wide range of F-Mount and Z-Mount lenses with a variety of acrylic and optical-glass port options. In addition to standard ports, Nauticam's premium professional water-contact optics deliver the highest possible underwater image quality. The WACP-2, when used with the Nikon Z 14-24mm lenses provides a stunning rectilinear 140º field-of-view and full zoom-through capability with an incredibly natural looking image when compared to a standard rectilinear lens and dome port combination. Panasonic Lumix S1/S1R Underwater housing from Nauticam
With the ability to accommodate both Panasonic LUMIX S1 and Panasonic S1R cameras, the Nauticam NA-S1R housing offers tremendous versatility to the underwater photographer. Nauticam's drive for innovation and focus on real-world usability is clearly reflected in the NA-S1R's features.   Although the two cameras may have different strengths, the NA-S1R is designed and built to give both video and photography enthusiasts easy access to all the controls and functions, exactly where they need them. Operation Nauticam engineers are obsessed with ease of use, and the Mission Control philosophy means they place essential controls where they are needed, regardless of where they are on the camera body. By placing the controls as close as possible to the handles and within easy and natural reach, users can concentrate on the composition and timing of their shot while adjusting exposure or focus without taking their eye off the viewfinder or screen.   The NA-S1R has a double thumb lever on the left rear of the body that accesses DISP and playback, while a double thumb lever on the left front activates the customisable Fn1 and Fn2 buttons.  A rear thumb lever on the right side is for AF-On and REC.  A lever on the right side of the NA-S1R allows the focus mode to be switched between C/S/MF and a multi-directional pad that provides the ability to navigate through the menu or move the focus point. Sigma EF lens support The MC-21 EF to L adapter from Sigma allows the use of Sigma EF lenses for use with the S1 and S1R cameras. The NA-S1R underwater housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter, but also to allow the use of the existing focus and zoom wheels for Sigma lenses with Canon mounts, as well as the existing extension ring and port combinations for these lenses.     Flash release Optical flash triggering with automatic exposure (TTL) is supported by the Panasonic DMW-FL70 clip-on flash (sold separately). For quick manual flash triggering, the NA-S1R is compatible with the Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger (NA26309), which uses small LED units to trigger external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fibre Optic (26216).  A TTL flash on/off switch on the top of the housing allows the DMW-FL70 flash unit to be activated or deactivated in water.  HDMI 2.0 output To take full advantage of the S1's video capabilities, the NA-S1R features the large-size M28 connector for HDMI 2.0 connections, such as those used on the Atomos Ninja V in conjunction with the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V housing (HDMI 2.0). Vacuum testing and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system is supplied with NA-S1R as standard. Combined with an additional vacuum valve (NA25625 or NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant information about the watertight and submersible condition of the enclosure. A simple colour-coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is tight or that the enclosure is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress.  The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature or a camera heating up during an action-packed dive. Canon EOS C70 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The Canon EOS C70 packs a lot of the features we love about cinema cameras into a small mirrorless style body.  With a Super35 sensor using Canon's next generation Dual Gain Output, the C70 also includes Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus, a built in ND filter and is the first EOS cinema camera to use Canon's new RF lens mount.  When you combine that with the "Canon Color" we have come to love underwater, this makes for one of the most compact and capable cinema cameras to date.   THE CANON EOS C70 CINEMA CAMERA The Canon EOS C70 is a compact form-factor cinema camera built around a Super35 Dual Gain Output (DGO) Sensor.  With 16+ stops of high dynamic range the C70 can record DCI 4K up to 60fps and 2K up to 120fps.  Without the extended dynamic range it can capture UHD 4K up to 120fps and 2k up to 180fps.  Integrated into the camera is a motorized 10-stop Neutral Density filter along with an air intake system allowing for unlimited video recording. KEY CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS: Super35 Dual Gain Output (DGO) Sensory DCI 4K 60p, Hi-Speed UHD 4K 120p/2K 180p Dual Pixel CMOS AF 16+ Stops of High Dynamic Range DIG!C DV7 Image Processory Canon Log 2 and Log 3 Gamma Dual SD Card Slots RF Lens Mount Built-in ND Filters  THE NAUTICAM NA-C70 UNDERWATER HOUSING Nauticam has long been producing industry-leading housings for Cinema cameras and have taken that experience to create the most advanced underwater cinema system housings available. Taking advantage of the small form factor of the C70, the Nauticam NA-C70 is ultra-portable yet offers full access to the camera's critical functions.  Regardless of where a button or control dial may lie on the camera body, Nauticam engineers obsess over making sure that access to that control on the housing be intuitively placed for ease of use to insure no shot is missed while searching for a button or dial.  To take this a step further, Nauticam has also integrated the Nauticam to Canon SDK Control Board in the rear door of the housing which places a variety of electronic control functions at your finger tips.  This connects to the camera through pogo pins between the rear housing door and the front camera tray eliminating the risk of straining any cables while opening the housing door for media or battery changes.   The Canon C70 present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adaptor in addition to the native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-C70 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to EOS R mount adaptors can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS C70 inside the housing with the EF to EOS R adaptor and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 EF-Mount housing.  Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple.  In addition to the standard EF to EOS R adaptors, there is also support for the Canon EF to EOS R 0.71x Mount Adaptor through an optional 16702 NA-C70 Camera Tray.   The housing will accommodate the Canon BP-A30 and larger BP-A60 batteries, providing plenty of run time. As with previous Cinema System housings, the Nauticam NA-C70 features large control knobs for focus and zoom which also feature marking disks that can be removed and marked with the desired lens position or focus information. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-C70 as standard equipment.  With the optional 25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Optical performance is just as necessary as camera performance and this becomes even more critical given the challenges of filming underwater. The Nauticam NA-C70 uses the same N120 Port System as the previous N120 cinema housings which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading or looking to add an additional camera to their lineup.  While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of EF and RF mount lenses, the real power can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics. This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations. The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6. The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Canon 100mm F2.8L macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 100mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier.
