The AFA 12 B filter converts the native spectrum into a 12m depth equivalent spectrum. This light spectrum is equivalent to a white light with AF 12 B filter.

The AFA 3 W concerts the spectrum into a 3m equivalent, 10’000K white light for very shallow water or for macro photography.

Barn doors are fixed onto the front of Keldan lights. They have four hinged doors around the light source. That set up, seen right, can be changed so you can control the light shape.

The power is regulated so that you can always get maximum performance, independent of the discharge state of the battery. The perfect solution when white balancing your camera with ambient light. The KELDAN ambient light filter is available for KeldanLights 18X and 24X underwater video lamps and converts the light to the same spectrum as the ambient light to avoid mixed light conditions. The ambient light filters fit the 4X and 8X luminaires and convert the white light into the same spectrum as the ambient light. Depending on the depth, the appropriate filter can be selected. With this technique, mixed light conditions can be avoided and the illumination will be very natural. New: KeldanLights offers Ambient ambient light filters for blue, blue-green and green water. For each water quality, we offer two filter strengths for depths of 6 m and 12 m respectively. (Total 6 filter variants) The filters are available for the Video 18X and Video 24X series of lights.

The Spectrum Filter SF -3.5 G is designed to compensate for the light absorption of green water colors and therefore provides a smooth, well balanced light spectrum to the sensor of your camera. This greatly improves the color rendering of your images and adjust the color coordinates close to daylight for outstanding results with manual white balance. The Spectrum Filter SF -3.5 G has a compensation depth of 6m. At this depth the filter makes a pertfect compensation of the light absorption of the water column. The camera then sees a daylight spectrum just like shooting at the surface. The filter works best for green water within a depth range of 6 to 20 meters. The filter has a damping equivalent to a loss of 3.5 stops. Normally low noise cameras that allow to shoot at ISO 1600 or higher are required when using this filter. IMPORTANT: If you experience problems wit too low light level switch to a lighter filter  such as the SF -1.5 (loss equvalent to 1.5 stops). The use of a lighter filter is always the better option than using no filter at all! The filter can be easily cut to the needed size. The substrate of the filter is a thin plastic sheet. Three pcs. filter sheets with the size 80x80 mm are shipped in one envelope.

The SF -4 spectral filter compensates for the colour shift of 8 metres of light path and reduces the brightness by four f-stops. KELDAN Spectrum Filters explained from Wetpixel on Vimeo. How it works The Spectrum Filter SF -4 B is designed to compensate for the light absorption of blue water, providing an even, well-balanced light spectrum for your camera's sensor. This greatly improves the colour rendition of your images and matches colour values to daylight for excellent results with manual white balance. The Spectral Filter is a powerful tool that can be used to adjust the colour of your images. The SF -4 B spectral filter has a compensation depth of 8 metres. At this depth, the filter perfectly compensates for the light absorption of the water. The camera then sees a daylight spectrum, just as it does when shooting at the surface. The filter is best suited for deep water in a depth range of 6 to 20 metres. The filter has a damping equivalent to a loss of 4 stops. Typically, low noise cameras that allow shooting at ISO 1600 or higher are required when using this filter. IMPORTANT: If you have issues with low brightness levels, switch to a lighter filter such as the SF -2 (loss equals 2 stops). Using a lighter filter is always the better option than using no filter at all! Overview: There are three different filters. A lighter version with 2 f-stops loss and two variants with a light loss of 4 f-stops. The -4 f-stop variant is available in two versions for blue and for green water. The filters are available for filter threads in sizes 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77 and 82mm.

Ready for wireless Remote Control The Video 24XR light replaces our 24X light and is now ready for our new wireless Remote Control RC1. The range in water can be up to 50m.  LED technology with outstanding efficiency The Video 24XR is equiped with an LED of the latest generation with a color temperature of 5600 Kelvin. The spectral power distibution is very even, resulting a color rendering index of 82 CRI (Ra). A unique feature is the variable power with 9 settings ranging from 7 - 360 Watt and the optional wireless long range Remote control. Soft 110° beam The light uses a carefully designed reflector and a dome lens to achieve a very wide and smooth beam without any speckles or hot spots. Beam angle (full width, have maximum) is 110° in water (120° in air). Self-contained The self contained design makes this light very easy to use. There is no need for special mountings for a separate battery canister. The included bracket with ball allows easy mounting on standard arm systems. Lightweight in water The design is optimized for minimal negative bouyancy in water. The complete set is only 0.5kg negative. A foam bracket is available as accessory to further reduce the negative bouyancy to only 0.3kg. Tough Design The LED can not break and has almost unlimited lifetime. The integrated overtemperature protection allows safe use of the light in air.  The protection circuit controls the housing temperature and the power will be limited to keep the temperature within an acceptable range. Li-Ion Battery The light is powered by 3 batteries of 99Wh each. They are mounted in a battery tray to make a single, easy to use 297Wh battery. The battery tray can be easily exchanged within a few seconds.  For save airline transport, the three batteries can be easily removed from the battery tray and transported individually to meet the requirement of a maximum allowed capacity of 100Wh per battery.  The charger accepts 110V to 240V AC. Charge Display on the rear side An eight stage bar indicator gives you a quick overview of the available charge.
