Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K Underwater Housing by Nauticam
With the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Blackmagic is giving users affordable 4K Raw video. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K delivers true DCI 4K capture at 60fps recorded in either 12-bit Blackmagic raw format or a variety of 10-bit ProRes flavors. Video can be recorded internally to SD or CFast 2.0 cards or via USB-C to a compact SSD. The MicroFourThirds mount means a large selection of lenses. The Nauticam NA-BMPCCII goes beyond just housing the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K by also supporting additional batteries, a portable SSD and the ability to use external monitors or Recorders. THE BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA 4K Blackmagic has built its reputation on defying convention and over-delivering specifications at a reasonable price point. This has perhaps never been truer than with the new Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Sporting a spec sheet that compares to cameras costing thousands of dollars more, the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K provides true DCI 4K @ 60fps from its MFT sensor with an impressive 13 stops of dynamic range. 1080 HD can be recorded up to 120fps in windowed format. Particularly impressive; the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K can record this resolution internally to UHSII V90 SD or CFast 2.0 cards in either 10-Bit ProRes or 12-Bit Raw formats. This significant improvement in workflow for professionals and enthusiasts can be taken even further with the world’s first USB-C output to compact SSD recording provided by any manufacturer. Not only does this allow up to 2TB of storage for uninterrupted shooting, it provides immediate access to clips for editing. No additional downloads or transcoding! Underwater shooters will appreciate the new dual native ISO allowing superior lowlight/low noise performance as well the large, bright five inch touchscreen monitor with extensive tools that may eliminate the need for an external monitor in many applications. The Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K may well prove to be the ultimate run-and-gun camera whether as a primary rig or the “small” B camera that goes where others won’t. Noteworthy Specifications: Full size HDMI with clean 10-Bit Output 3D LUT compatible – whether just for monitoring or baked into the footage as well 4 built in mics and mini-XLR audio input with 48V phantom power Standard Canon LP-E6 Batteries 4th Generation Black Magic Color Science THE NA-BMPCCII UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-BMPCCII is not just an update of the original NA-BMPCC, it is a ground up redesign for the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K designed to take full advantage of the great new features of this cinema camera. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam's design philosophy is driven by allowing immediate access to all essential controls within easy reach of the handles, allowing the shooter to make adjustments without having to take their eyes off the screen. Within reach of the right handle are the trigger as well as a control dial for iris, a lever to capture still images as well as a double thumb lever for the white balance and autofocus. A recessed double thumb lever, situated between the trigger and the rear thumb lever accesses the ISO and Shutter Angle (Shutter Speed). Three assignable buttons are atop the housing near the right handle as well as three buttons on the right rear for HFR, Auto-Iris, Zoom and Menu. A thumb lever on the left side activates Review. The NA-BMPCCII features DSLR style ergonomic handles with stainless steel stiffening brackets that are compatible with the optional handle strap (PN 28130). The rear monitor window is compatible with the Monitor Shade for the NA-502 Housing (PN 17916) which attaches via four screws. The underside of the housing has mounting points for use with the Tripod Mounting Ball Set (PN 25218) removing the use for a bulky tripod plate. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-BMPCCII is built around the N85 Port System which offers a variety of port configurations for a large selection of lenses. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a four thirds lens mount making it compatible with the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 II R lens that when paired with the WWL-1 provides ultra-sharp full-zoom-through wide-angle performance. The WWL-1, when used with the bayonet mount system can be exchanged underwater for the optional CMC-1 or CMC-2 to allow for the capturing of up to 130º wide-angle, macro and super-macro all on the same dive. HDMI 2.0 READY The housing features several bulkheads including the large-bore M28 which supports the use of an HDMI 2.0 recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V through the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V Housing (PN 17922). CUSTOM BATTERY PACK AND SSD SUPPORT To allow for increased run-time, the NA-BMPCCII comes with a custom battery cage that holds 4 x 18650 Lithium Batteries (batteries not included). This battery cage sits securely beneath the camera inside the housing and connects directly to the camera's power supply input. With 4x3400 mAh batteries, the run-time of the system can exceed 3 hours. Atop the camera's position inside the housing is a slot that holds a compact T5 SSD which connects to the camera via USB-C. Run Times Canon LP-E6 internal battery: 40min 4 x 16850 Battery: up to 160min Total Run Time: 3hrs 20min VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-BMPCCII as standard equipment. With the pre-installed vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Atomos Ninja V Underwater housing by Nauticam
With more cameras offering high quality HDMI video output, the Atomos Ninja V steps in, not only as a stunning monitor but also as a recorder of 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit video to on-board SSD drives in edit-friendly ProRes or Avid formats. The Nauticam NA-Ninja V, when used with supported housings and cameras, allows for the connection of the Ninja V over HDMI 2.0 in addition to providing easy access to the Ninja V controls underwater. Atomos Ninja V The Atomos Ninja V is an exceptional monitor, featuring a bright 1000 nit 10-bit HDR 5.2" screen that can display over 10 stops of dynamic range with compatible cameras. The monitor includes a variety of exposure and focus assist tools to insure your footage is properly exposed with critical focus. In addition to being an extremely capable monitor, the Ninja V is also a recorder. When used with compatible cameras over HDMI 2.0, the Ninja V can record 4K at 60p in 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes or DNxHR formats to Atomos AtomX SSDmini solid state drives. With a 1TB SSDmini drive, the Ninja V can record up to 150 minutes of 4K video. EXPOSURE TOOLS  The Ninja V exposure guides include a Waveform for luminance, RGB Parade for color balance, and Vector Scope for hue and saturation. These tools, especially useful for the underwater filmmaker, allow accurate and fast judging of exposure, even in the most uncooperative lighting scenarios. Even when recording Log or HDR footage, using Rec.709 or HLG monitoring displays the video on the screen adjusted to the levels of the chosen standard.. FOCUS TOOLS Critical focus can be achieved using various peaking tools. Focus Peaking Color displays the original color image with the sharpest areas outlined in a selectable color. Focus Peaking Mono provides the same overlay but on a monochrome image. Focus Assist Outline shows only the false color outline on a black background of the sharpest Areas.   THE NAUTICAM NA-NINJA V UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-Ninja V builds on the strong foundation Nauticam has built with previous Atomos monitor/recorder housings but is built around the new M28 large-bore bulkhead that supports HDMI 2.0. The Ninja V is easily mounted in the housing, dropping in without trays or other mounting accessories and is held in place by two rotating locking levers. The Ninja V features both an HDMI 2.0 input as well as an output and the NA-Ninja V supports both as well. With dual M28 bulkheads, a second HDMI cable can be run to another monitor. The Ninja V allows for the application of. cube format 3D LUTs to this output signal. The NA-Ninja V supports up to the NP-F970 size battery which provides up to two hours of run time. A CR-2032 battery powers the vacuum check and leak detection system. When used with the included Vacuum Valve, the system gives real-time feedback about the watertight integrity of the housing through an easily visible multi-color LED on the top of the housing. Access to the touchscreen controls of the Ninja V are handled via a series of buttons and a selector knob beneath the screen of the housing including PLAY, REC, MON, RGB, PEAK and the Muti-Selector Lever.

Panasonic Lumix S1/S1R Underwater housing from Nauticam
With the ability to accommodate both Panasonic LUMIX S1 and Panasonic S1R cameras, the Nauticam NA-S1R housing offers tremendous versatility to the underwater photographer. Nauticam's drive for innovation and focus on real-world usability is clearly reflected in the NA-S1R's features.   Although the two cameras may have different strengths, the NA-S1R is designed and built to give both video and photography enthusiasts easy access to all the controls and functions, exactly where they need them. Operation Nauticam engineers are obsessed with ease of use, and the Mission Control philosophy means they place essential controls where they are needed, regardless of where they are on the camera body. By placing the controls as close as possible to the handles and within easy and natural reach, users can concentrate on the composition and timing of their shot while adjusting exposure or focus without taking their eye off the viewfinder or screen.   The NA-S1R has a double thumb lever on the left rear of the body that accesses DISP and playback, while a double thumb lever on the left front activates the customisable Fn1 and Fn2 buttons.  A rear thumb lever on the right side is for AF-On and REC.  A lever on the right side of the NA-S1R allows the focus mode to be switched between C/S/MF and a multi-directional pad that provides the ability to navigate through the menu or move the focus point. Sigma EF lens support The MC-21 EF to L adapter from Sigma allows the use of Sigma EF lenses for use with the S1 and S1R cameras. The NA-S1R underwater housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter, but also to allow the use of the existing focus and zoom wheels for Sigma lenses with Canon mounts, as well as the existing extension ring and port combinations for these lenses.     Flash release Optical flash triggering with automatic exposure (TTL) is supported by the Panasonic DMW-FL70 clip-on flash (sold separately). For quick manual flash triggering, the NA-S1R is compatible with the Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger (NA26309), which uses small LED units to trigger external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fibre Optic (26216).  A TTL flash on/off switch on the top of the housing allows the DMW-FL70 flash unit to be activated or deactivated in water.  HDMI 2.0 output To take full advantage of the S1's video capabilities, the NA-S1R features the large-size M28 connector for HDMI 2.0 connections, such as those used on the Atomos Ninja V in conjunction with the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V housing (HDMI 2.0). Vacuum testing and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system is supplied with NA-S1R as standard. Combined with an additional vacuum valve (NA25625 or NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant information about the watertight and submersible condition of the enclosure. A simple colour-coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is tight or that the enclosure is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress.  The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature or a camera heating up during an action-packed dive. Atomos Shogun/Ninja Inferno/Flame (HDMI 2.0) Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The Nauticam Atomos Flame housing supports the Atomos Shogun Inferno and Shogun Flame, as well as the Ninja Inferno and Ninja Flame external recorders and monitors.  This enclosure is equipped with an M28 pass-through for HDMI 2.0 cables.   The enclosure offers an unobstructed view of the excellent 7" screen and provides access to the main touchscreen functions via buttons on the underside of the panel. Problem-free installation Installing Atomos Shogun or Ninja recorders couldn't be easier with the Nauticam Atomos Flame housing. The monitor simply slides in and is secured with three rotating latches. The back of the monitor is fully accessible, making media and battery changes quick and easy. Built-in cooling The processing power required to record professional video formats is enormous, and this workload generates heat. Shogun uses a cooling rail to dissipate heat in the air and to ensure normal operating temperatures in the water. Therefore, the Nauticam enclosure uses two active fans. These fans distribute the heat across the back of the enclosure where it can be effectively transferred into the water. The cooling system is powered by a dedicated Sony NP-F550 battery that provides approximately 12 hours of operation on a single charge.  An LED light and external switch allow the fans to be switched on and off from the outside of a sealed enclosure. The Nauticam Atomos Flame housing supports all Sony NP-F batteries with the exception of the NP-F970 and Atomos NP-960 as they are too large for the housing.   Vacuum testing and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system and vacuum valve are included as standard in the Shogun enclosure.  This monitoring system provides constant updates on the watertight and safe condition of the enclosure.  A simple coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is tight or that the enclosure is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water Ingress.
