.*When used with a camera with an APS-C sensor, such as the MDX-80D, vignetting may occur in the four corners if the lens is used at wide angle (10mm) and the shooting distance is short. In this case, you should use the telephoto (10.5mm) or a longer focal length.
.Properties
- Uses high quality BK7 crystal glass.
- Two different anti-reflective coatings are used to optimize image quality, one for the outside and the other for the inside of the optical domes. The outside of the domes is coated with a multilayer coating and the inside of the domes is coated with silicon dioxide to effectively suppress stray light and ghosting. This reduces the refractive index of each port to less than 0.01% and the domes produce extremely high contrast images.
