Z-330 Underwater Strobe by Inon
The INON Z-330 provides powerful Guide Number 33, high performance and multifunction in its compact body. Its built-in optically designed dome lens offering both high power and wide 110 degree coverage underwater without any diffuser which can sacrifice power. For digital cameras, film cameras, optical connection and sync cable connection, the Z-330 strobe supports every camera system with unparalleled features. Dome Lens Provides Both Powerful Light and Underwater 110 degree Coverage Yet lightweight and compact body, the Z-330 is designed to produce powerful G.N. 33 (*1). Precisely designed front dome lens (*2) together with INON's unique patented "T-shape Twin Flash" successfully manages both powerful strobe light without sacrifice any power and circular 110 degree coverage UNDERWATER. Not as like a conventional translucent diffuser which can widen coverage while it has to sacrifice power and store heat inside, this specially designed dome lens diffuses light thanks to reflection ratio of air, acrylic and water to attain UNDERWATER coverage 110 degree with almost all powerful output coming through. Furthermore, the Z-330 has overcame drawback of high-power strobe which has long flash duration and reaches to FULL power after start flashing in significantly short period of time. S-TTL Auto /13 Steps Manual Flash Mode Proven and reliable INON's unique super accurate auto exposure system "S-TTL" Auto mode (patented) is onboard to support easy and solid underwater shooting with appropriate exposure. In addition, optimized high performance slave sensor never miss camera's trigger signal even with faint signal or partially damaged fiber optics cable can still trigger the strobe not to bother you with unstable flashing. To aim optical axis of the Focus Light in line with strobe light’s optical axis, the Focus Light has a fresnel lens in front supporting more accurate strobe aiming and improved usability as an aiming light. Conspicuous Phosphorescence Back Panel - Improved Intuitive Control Dials Using white base high-intensity phosphorescence material for the back panel to improve visibility both during day and night dive. Also control dials are enlarged for user-friendly controllability even through thick gloves during cold water diving. The "EV. Control Switch" stops at minimum and maximum power setting telling you current switch position without seeing the switch itself.   Radiation System to Release Generated Heat Inside The Z-330 strobe is equipped with circular metal heatsink carrying high thermal conductivity around light emitting area. The heatsink is directly connected to inner circuit component to release generated heat from strobe usage effectively. Improved heat tolerance has resolved heat problem typically accompanied with powerful strobe. No stress with sudden stop of flashing to cool down. Minimum Recycle Time "approx. 1.6 sec." at Full Flash Minimum recycle time at full flash (how fast the strobe ready lamp shines and the strobe is ready after making full flash) is approx. 1.6 sec.(*3) achieving fast recycle time even delivers powerful light. Wide Variety of Dome Filters The Z-330 strobe has a bayonet system to hold a strobe dome filter to attach/remove easily. Besides bundled "Strobe Dome Filter SOFT" to protect dome lens surface and soften strobe light, optional "Strobe Dome Filter ND" which steps down at -4EV, "Strobe Dome Filter [4600K]" which changes native color temperature to 4600K and "Strobe Dome Filter [4900K]" which changes to 4900K will be available in 2018. Both Optical/Electrical Trigger Supported Optical connection system widely supports from underwater housings for compact digital cameras to a digital SLR housings with built-in flash or SLRs housing with built-in LED trigger circuitry regardless of make or model. The strobe is equipped with Nikonos 5 pin type cable compatible sync connector to shoot in TTL Auto mode with a film camera or in Manual mode for a digital SLR housing with a bulk head (*4). THE SONY A6600 E-MOUNT APS-C CAMERA The Sony a6600 is the new flagship model of the venerable APS-C mirrorless line. The a6000 series benefits from a large lens selection and bright Electronic Viewfinder paired with a large 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor and high-powered latest generation BIONZ X processor in a compact travel-friendly package. For the a6600 Sony is adding a host of features that will benefit the underwater image maker whether shooting video or stills. With 11fps continuous shooting the a6600 will insure sharp images of fast action scenes. With the new BIONZ X processor comes improved low-light performance and an expanded base ISO range of 100-32,000. With the a6600, when using Auto ISO mode, minimum and maximum ISO values can now be set. 4K VIDEO PERFORMANCE Combined with 5-axis optical image stabilization and HLG 4K 30p video recording, the A6600 is sure to be a video shooter favorite. The 4K footage from the a6500 is oversampled, using the full sensor-width at 24p and downsampling the final result which leads to increased sharpness. For 4K at 30p, the a6600 uses a 1.23x crop. When shooting high-speed FHD at 120p or 100p the footage is from a 1.14x crop. Sony also removed the 30-minute recording time limit restriction. Using the HLG Picture profile for video capture preserves the maximum dynamic range available, allowing for more latitude in post production. ENHANCED CUSTOMIZATION The a6600 has gained a well-placed 'C3' custom button in addition to the existing 'C1' and 'C2' which are located on the top of the housing. The new 'C3" is located on the rear of the housing within thumb's reach. The a6600, similar to its predecessors is greatly customizable to fit the shooter's needs. FAST AND RELIABLE FLASH TRIGGERING Reliable rapid fire manual flash triggering is available with the NA-A6600 for a variety of optically fired flashes when used with a new LED Flash Trigger (36315). The NA-A6600 comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Strobes and light arms can be attached to the housing via included 1? accessory mounting balls. The housing also features a cold-shoe and M10 threaded mount for a focus light or other accessories. Electrical strobe triggering (with power set manually on the flash head) is still an option for those with an investment in legacy lighting gear, requiring the purchase of an accessory electrical bulkhead. BATTERY PACK FOR NA-6600 HOUSING (2500MAH, INC. USB CABLE) (NA36332) The a6600 does feature a larger internal battery but especially when shooting video the benefit of an accessory battery pack greatly extends the time between battery swaps, and allows the housing to remain sealed between dives. The accessory battery pack rests securely below the camera inside the housing and provides power to the camera via USB. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-A6600 as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve (PN 25624), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur.
