Maximising performance, flexibility and portability is the goal of the Canon G5 X Mark II. The second iteration of the G5 X model, the G5 X Mark II is based on a 20.1MP 1" Stacked CMOS sensor. The stacked design enables faster image data transfer and processing, as well as higher autofocus and continuous shooting performance. The G5 X Mark II has an ISO range of 125-6,400, expandable to 25,600, with a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000sec and 1/25600sec for the electronic shutter. Video recording Where the original G5 X was limited to HD recording, the G5 X Mark II adds UHD 4K recording at 30p at a respectable bit rate of 120 Mbps with H.264 compression on UHS-1 SDHC or SDXC cards. The OIS-stabilised lens, with a focal length range of 24-120mm (equivalent), also features a 3-stop variable neutral density filter to maintain video-friendly shutter speeds in bright light conditions, or to achieve artistic macro shots with shallow depth of field while minimising ambient light intrusion. The NA-G5XII builds on a long line of Nauticam housings that includes the original G5 X and three versions of its G7 X sibling. The case is built around the expanding N50 interchangeable port system. NOTE: The NA-G5XII does not support the use of the camera's pop-up EVF within the enclosure. Operation The NA-G5XII features a two-stage shutter release, a large lockable zoom lever and fluted dials for the MODE and exposure compensation controls. A textured dial on the front of the body, within easy reach of the natural hand position, controls the camera's lens control ring. On the back of the body, in addition to the four-way controller, are buttons for the customisable "*"button, which can be assigned as AF-ON control to facilitate the popular Rück button method of autofocus control, as well as the record button. With this method, autofocus activation is removed from the output and controlled exclusively by pressing the AF-ON control button to prevent refocusing by the camera between output presses. The RECORD button can also be assigned a variety of other functions, such as activating the 30fps RAW Burst mode. HDMI video output With UHD 4K 30p clean video output üvia HDMI with full sensor width, the G5 X Mark II can be combined with an external monitor such as the SmallHD 502 Bright to support composition and accurate assessment of focus and exposure. The NA-G5XII's M16 threaded connector can be equipped to support HDMI output via HDMI 1.4 to Nauticam monitor housings such as the NA-502B. High-quality professional optics The N50 interchangeable port system means the NA-G5XII can take advantage of Nauticam's premium professional underwater optics. The housing comes with the standard N50 port, which allows the use of the camera's full 24-120mm  quivalent zoom range, as well as the CMC-1, CMC-2 and SMC-1 macro optics (2.3x magnification) when equipped with the optional M67 flip diopter holder (NA25107). Note that the SMC-1 gives optimum results when used beyond the equivalent zoom length of 90 mm and vignettes at larger fields of view or longer focal lengths. To restore the lens to its original field of view, the NA-G5XII can be used with the 3.5-inch N50 acrylic dome port. This port also allows the use of the full zoom range, but cannot accommodate attachment lenses.. The Nauticam WWL-1 (NA83201) and WWL-C (NA83203) attachment lenses bring professional wide-angle performance to the NA-G5XII, offering a field of view of 130º and a minimum focus distance of zero centimetres.  The WWL-1 operates within the zoom range of 28-50 mm, while the WWL-C operates within the range of 24-50 mm.   To use the WWL-1 or WWL-C, the NA-G5XII requires the optional N50 short port 25 with bayonet mount (NA38703).  The bayonet system allows for easy removal of the lens underwater to further increase the flexibility of the system. . Flash release The NA-G5XII has built-in optical ports that transmit the camera's internal flash to supported external flash units via optional universal fibre optic cables (NA26216). The internal flash can be raised and lowered within the housing to allow quick switching between natural and artificial light. Additional accessories The NA-G5XII comes with stainless steel stabilising brackets and an extension bracket that can be used with the optional Flexitray II system. The housing also features a cold shoe and M10 threaded brackets. Integrated vacuum test and leakage warning system The Nauticam vacuum test and leak detection system is supplied as standard with the NA-G5XII. Combined with an M14 Vacuum Valve II accessory (part of the ProPackage), this monitoring system provides constant, up-to-date information on the watertight and submersible condition of the housing. A simple colour-coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is tight or that the case is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit, so there is an audible and visual indication when water enters.  The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, so false alarms are avoided due to a  change in outside temperature or by a camera heating up during a full-action dive..

Bedienung Der NA-G5XII verfügt über einen zweistufigen Auslöser, einen großen feststellbaren Zoomhebel und gerändelte Einstellräder für die Regler MODE und Belichtungskorrektur.  Ein strukturiertes Einstellrad an der Vorderseite des Unerweassergehäuses, das sich in Reichweite der natürlichen Handposition befindet, steuert den Objektivsteuerring der Kamera. Auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses befinden sich zusätzlich zum Vierwegeregler Tasten für die anpassbare "*"-Taste, die als AF-ON-Steuerung zugewiesen werden kann, um die beliebte Rücktastenmethode der Autofokus-Steuerung sowie die Aufnahmetaste zu erleichtern.  Bei dieser Methode wird die Aktivierung des Autofokus vom Auslöser entfernt und ausschließlich durch Drücken der AF-ON-Steuertaste gesteuert, um eine Neufokussierung durch die Kamera zwischen den Auslöserdrücken zu verhindern. Die RECORD-Taste kann auch mit einer Vielzahl anderer Funktionen belegt werden, wie z.B. der Aktivierung des 30fps RAW Burst-Modus. HDMI-Videoausgang Mit der UHD 4K 30p Clean-Videosignalausgabe über HDMI mit voller Sensorbreite kann der G5 X Mark II mit einem externen Monitor wie dem SmallHD 502 Bright kombiniert werden, um die Komposition und genaue Beurteilung von Fokus und Belichtung zu unterstützen. Der M16-Gewindeanschluus des NA-G5XII-Gehäuses kann so ausgestattet werden, dass es die HDMI-Ausgabe über HDMI 1.4 an Nauticam-Monitorgehäuse wie den NA-502B unterstützt. Hochwertige professionelle Optik Das N50-Wechselport-System bedeutet, dass die NA-G5XII die Vorteile der erstklassigen professionellen Unterwasseroptik von Nauticam nutzen kann. Das Gehäuse wird mit dem N50-Standardport geliefert, der die Nutzung des vollen 24-120-mm-Äquivalenzzoombereichs der Kamera sowie der CMC-1-, CMC-2- und SMC-1-Makrooptik (2,3-fache Vergrößerung) ermöglicht, wenn sie mit dem optionalen M67-Flip-Dioptrienhalter (NA25107) ausgestattet ist.  Beachten Sie, dass das SMC-1 optimale Ergebnisse liefert, wenn es über die äquivalente Zoomlänge von 90 mm hinaus verwendet wird und bei größeren Sichtfeldern oder größeren Brennweiten vignettiert. Um das ursprüngliche Sichtfeld des Objektivs wiederherzustellen, kann das NA-G5XII mit dem 3,5-Zoll-Acrylglas-Dome-Port N50 verwendet werden. Dieser Port ermöglicht auch die Nutzung des vollen Zoombereichs, kann aber keine Vorsatzlinsen aufnehmen. Die Nauticam WWL-1B (NA83202) und WWL-C (NA83203) Vorsatzlinsen von Nauticam bringen eine professionelle Weitwinkelleistung in das NA-G5XII und bieten ein Sichtfeld von 130º und einen minimalen Fokussierabstand von null Zentimeter.  Das WWL-1 arbeitet innerhalb des Zoombereichs von 28-50 mm, während das WWL-C im Bereich von 24-50 mm arbeitet.  Um das WWL-1 oder WWL-C zu verwenden, benötigt der NA-G5XII den optionalen N50-Kurzport 25 mit Bajonettanschluss (NA38703).  Das Bajonettsystem ermöglicht die einfache Entfernung des Objektivs unter Wasser, um die Flexibilität des Systems weiter zu erhöhen.  Blitzauslösung Die NA-G5XII verfügt über eingebaute optische Anschlüsses, die den internen Blitz der Kamera über optionale universelle Glasfaserkabel (NA26216) an unterstützte externe Blitzgeräte übertragen. Der interne Blitz kann innerhalb des Gehäuses angehoben und abgesenkt werden, um einen schnellen Wechsel zwischen natürlichem und künstlichem Licht zu ermöglichen.   Weiteres Zubehör Der NA-G5XII wird mit Stabilisierungsbügeln aus Edelstahl und einer Auslöserverlängerung geliefert, die mit dem optionalen Flexitray II-System verwendet werden kann.  Das Gehäuse verfügt außerdem über einen Kaltschuh und M10-Gewindehalterungen. Integriertes Vakuumprüf- und Leckagewarnsystem Das Nauticam-Vakuumprüf- und Lecksuchsystem wird standardmäßig mit dem NA-G5XII ausgeliefert. In Kombination mit einem Zubehör M14-Vakuumventil II (optional) liefert dieses Überwachungssystem ständig aktuelle Informationen über den wasserdichten und tauchsicheren Zustand des Gehäuses. Ein einfaches farbcodiertes LED-Beleuchtungssystem lässt den Benutzer wissen, dass das Vakuum fest ist oder dass das Gehäuse das Vakuum verliert. Die Leckerkennung ist in den gleichen Stromkreis integriert, so dass bei Wassereintritt eine akustische und optische Anzeige erfolgt.  Das Nauticam-System ist temperaturkompensiert, so dass Fehlalarme aufgrund einer Änderung der Außentemperatur oder durch eine Kamera, die sich bei einem Tauchgang voller Action aufheizt, vermieden werden.
