The next generation Nauticam Full Angle Straight Viewfinder is the perfect addition to your housing as it provides a bright, clear and undistorted 1:1 image of the camera’s viewfinder and is essential for precise focusing and artistic composition.  This viewfinder is also available in an 0.8:1 version that can also accommodate viewing of the entire image field on cameras with larger EVFs such as the Sony A1.

The Full Frame Angle Viewfinder also provides more clearance for your regulator allowing for more a more comfortable viewing position, installs in seconds without tools and retains the hassle-free underwater dioptric adjustment feature. The viewfinder can also be rotated when using the camera in a portrait orientation.

INTRODUCING NAUTICAM FULL FRAME ANGLE VIEWFINDER 32°/ 1:1

For over a decade, Nauticam’s Enhanced Viewfinders have been known for superior optics, tack sharp performance and first-of-its-kind underwater dioptric adjustment. Anyone who has used these instruments has grown to appreciate what an asset they can be to any underwater photographer. But the camera world has seen radical changes in technology in the last ten years, including ever increasing size and resolution of Electronic Viewfinders (EVFs) found in the latest high-end mirrorless cameras. These newer EVFs challenge even the finest enhanced viewfinders for underwater housings.

In response to this technological evolution, Nauticam is excited to introduce the next generation of Enhanced Viewfinders designed to meet and exceed the requirements of all the current digital camera EVFs, as well as what is expected in the near future. The new Full Frame Straight Viewfinder employs entirely new optics to allow distortion free viewing without clipping the image frame. With the new viewfinders, reviewing images in playback or navigating the menus through the EVF has never been so easy.

32º/1:1 VS. 42º/0.8:1

Because different photographers have different needs and priorities, Nauticam offers the Full Frame Angle Viewfinder in two options. The 1:1 viewfinder option offers the most magnification available for underwater viewing while preserving the image field and surrounding data on most cameras. This viewfinder is a breakthrough in performance on high resolution EVFs and is an absolute joy on traditional DSLRs. The level of detail rendered is unequaled in the industry.

For those utilizing cameras with known EVF challenges such as the Sony’s A1 and A7SIII cameras, or just for the photographer who wants as much working room on the viewfinder field-of-view as possible, Nauticam offers the new 0.8:1 version. The 0.8:1 viewfinder offers an equally crisp and bright EVF display as the 1:1 viewfinder, with slightly less magnification for uncompromising corner to corner image viewing or better imaging of shooting data.

HASSLE-FREE UNDERWATER DIOPTRIC ADJUSTMENT

The much-loved dioptric adjustment is still featured and allows for easy eyesight adjustment in-water without disassembly of the viewfinder.  as well as the simple installation and removal that takes only seconds.

TOOL FREE INSTALLATION

The Nauticam Full Frame Angle Viewfinder can be installed in seconds without any tools.  The viewfinder is a direct replacement of the stock 0.66X viewfinder on DSLR and many full-frame mirrorless housings but requires an easily installed adapter on certain MIL housings. The viewfinder can also be rotated when using the camera in a portrait orientation.

Whether future proofing a viewfinder purchase for your current rig, or patiently waiting for a viewfinder worthy of the latest pro mirrorless camera you are diving, these cutting-edge viewfinders are the new industry standard to be looking at.

Nikon Z7 / Z6 underwater housing (V) by Nauticam
Underwater photographers rely on the diversity of the environment to push their art to its limits, and not just underwater. With the introduction of the Nikon Z7 and Z6, the full-frame mirrorless camera market has important new competitors to push the segment even further. Nikon's first full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Z7 and Z6 offer underwater photographers the same legendary Nikon sensors with the versatility of an electronic viewfinder and the more compact form factor of a mirrorless system. The NA-Z7V supports both the Z6 and Z7 models and features the larger M28 bulkhead that supports HDMI 2.0 connections required for the Atomos Ninja V recorder/monitor. The Nikon Z6 and Z7 cameras For many full-frame Nikon photographers, the appeal of a mirrorless camera was tempered by the thought of having to invest in and master a new system by switching to another ecosystem like Sony. For those who were waiting for a mirrorless system that utilises Nikon's image processing technology and ergonomics, the wait is over. The Z6 and Z7 cameras have an identical body, differing only in features - an ideal feature when it comes to housing the camera for underwater use. Both camera bodies are built around the new Z-mount. With an incredibly large mount diameter of 55 mm (17% larger than F-mount) and a very short flange distance, the Z-mount offers a maximum aperture of F0.95. While the current selection of Z-mount lenses is limited, almost the entire range of F-mount lenses can be used with the optional FTZ adapter. When using the adapter, lenses without VR also benefit from the in-camera stabilisation. VR and Z-mount lenses get 5-axis stabilisation, while non-VR F-mount lenses have 3-axis stabilisation. There is also a special e-VR (electronic VR) that combines optical and electronic stabilisation for video recording. Both the Z6 and Z7 can internally record UHD 4K at 30 frames per second or 1080 HD at up to 120 frames per second at 144 Mbps. Recording utilises the full width of the sensor and both cameras are capable of outputting UHD 4K in 10-bit N-log via HDMI, supporting start/stop control. The electronic OLED viewfinder (EVF) of the Z6 and Z7 offers 100% image coverage at Quad VGA resolution (3.69 million dots). When triggering external flashes, both cameras have a 1/200 X-Sync shutter speed. Nikon Z7 Camera The Z7 has a high-resolution 45.7MP FX-format sensor that allows shooting at up to 9 FPS. The Z7 offers a wide ISO range of 64-25,600 and autofocus is achieved with 493 on-sensor AF points covering 90% of the frame. The camera intelligently switches between contrast and phase detection points to achieve precise focusing regardless of lighting conditions. Main features of the camera: 45.7MP FX format sensor without OLPF Continuous shooting at 9 FPS 64-25,600 ISO range UHD 4K 30p recording without FOV crop 10bit UHD 4K N-log output via HDMI with start/stop support 5-axis VR stabilisation (with Z-lenses) 8K time-lapse with exposure smoothing CF Express ready (currently supports XQD) Nikon Z6 Camera The Z6 is equipped with a 24.5 MP FX-format sensor that allows continuous shooting at up to 12 FPS and an ISO range of 100-51,200. Videos are recorded internally at up to UHD 4K 30p without cropping the field of view. 273 on-sensor focus points cover 90% of the subject and the Z 6 intelligently switches between contrast and phase detection points to ensure precise autofocus. Main features of the camera: 24.5MP FX-format sensor with OLPF 12 FPS continuous shooting ISO range 100-51,200 UHD 4K 30p recording without FOV crop 10bit N-log UHD 4K output via HDMI with start/stop support 5-axis VR stabilisation (with Z-mount lenses) 4K time-lapse CF Express ready (currently only XQD) The Nauticam NA-Z7V underwater housing Nauticam has produced a variety of housings for Nikon DSLR cameras and is not new to the mirrorless format. Nauticam has developed housings for full-frame, APS-C and MFT mirrorless cameras from various camera manufacturers. The NA-Z7V, just like Nikon's Z6/7 cameras, is an evolutionary step in underwater housings that seamlessly combine the Nikon F-mount and the new Z-mount in one housing. F- and Z-mount support The Nauticam NA-Z7V body not only allows the use of the new Z-mount Nikon glass, but also F-mount lenses with the Nikon FTZ adapter. This is crucial as the new Z-mount lenses will be phased in over the next few years. The Nauticam NA-Z7V body has two lens release buttons suitable for either F- or Z-mount lenses. When switching between F-mount and Z-mount lenses, the camera must be removed from the housing to remove the adapter. If you are using the F- or Z-mount system, use the appropriate lens release button to change the lens without removing the camera from the body. A vacuum reset switch is also located under the tray so that the back of the housing does not need to be opened when changing lenses or adapters. Intelligent operation Nauticam's engineers are obsessed with functionality, which is evident in the placement of the essential controls.  Regardless of where the controls are located on the camera, the Nauticam housing puts them where you need them underwater.  For those switching between photo and video modes, there is an easy-to-reach switch on the right rear of the housing.  The right double thumb lever, easily reached from the right grip, gives access to the AF-on or Record button.  Between the double thumb lever and the multi-step shutter release is an ISO lever that allows quick changes in sensitivity. The left double tick lever provides access to the DISP and playback controls.  The zoom in and zoom out controls on the right rear of the camera housing are on the left side of the housing and are in a location more familiar to Nauticam housing users. The switch that toggles between the LCD display and the electronic viewfinder, an important and widely used control with mirrorless systems, is within easy reach near the left grip.   Front and rear controls are easily accessible via the familiar large knurled wheels on the right handle.  The ergonomic housing handles are rubberised and feature stainless steel stiffening brackets to ensure a stable platform when using large strobes or video lights attached to the pre-installed 1-inch ball heads. Z7 mit 60mm Makro Flash release The NA-Z7 comes with Nauticam's self-powered manual flash trigger pre-installed.  The flash trigger plugs into the camera's hot shoe and uses LED lights inserted into each of the two optical bulkheads to trigger assisted underwater flashes when used with the correct fibre optic connector.  The flash trigger is powered by button cell batteries that provide thousands of flashes per battery.  The flash trigger can be upgraded to support TTL triggering (NA26308). HDMI video output The Z7 camera supports 10-bit HDMI video output with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) at up to 30p.  An external monitor or recorder can be used with the optional standard M16 HDMI socket (NA25033), HDMI (D-C) cable in 190mm length (NA25036), which is included as standard in every Nauticam monitor housing. The NA-Z7V also has an M24 socket that supports HDMI 2.0 output.  Atomos and Nikon have announced that video output via HDMI 2.0 from the Nikon Z6 and Z7 can be captured in Apple ProRes RAW format on the Ninja V monitor/recorder.  Currently, footage can be recorded in high quality ProRes 4:2:2 10-bit 30p UHD 4K when used with the Ninja V using the Nauticam NA-Ninja V housing with HDMI 2.0 cable PN 25085.

Both the Canon EOS R5C and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS RC5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the Port Chart. Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5C where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The upper thumb lever activates the "AF-On" and the lower the "Q" buttons while the sub-lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch to change from using LCD to the EVF. Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles. An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and will interface with the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R Mount Adapter with Control Ring using the optional gear (NA19561). Flash Triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R5C as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

As more Z mount lenses become available Nauticam will add supported configurations. INTELLIGENT CONTROL PLACEMENT Nauticam engineers are obsessed with functionality and this is evident in the location of essential controls. Regardless of where the control is located on the camera, the Nauticam housing puts them where you need them to be underwater. For those switching between photo and video modes, an easily reachable switch is located on the right rear of the housing. The right side double thumb lever, easily reached from the right handle features access to the AF-on and Record buttons respectively. Between the double thumb lever and the multi-stage shutter release is an ISO lever allowing quick changes to sensitivity. The left double thumb lever accesses the DISP and Playback controls. The Zoom In and Zoom Out controls, located on the right rear of the camera body is relocated to the left side of the housing to a location more familiar to Nauticam housing users. The switch that allows for switching between the LCD display and the EVF, a crucial and much used control with mirrorless systems is located close to the left handle within easy reach. Front and rear control dials are readily accessible by the familiar large knurled dials at the right handle. The ergonomic housing handles are rubberized and feature stainless steel stiffening brackets to ensure a stable platform when using large strobes or video lights attached to the pre-installed 1" mounting balls. FLASH TRIGGERING The NA-Z7II comes with Nauticam's self powered manual flash trigger preinstalled. The flash trigger plugs into the hot-shoe of the camera and uses LED lights recessed into each of the two optical bulkheads to trigger supported underwater flashes when used with the correct fiber optic connection. The flash trigger is powered by coin cell batteries that provide thousands of flashes per battery. The flash trigger can be upgraded to support TTL triggering (PN 26308 TTL Converter for Nikon). INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-Z7II as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory M16 vacuum valve (PN 25625), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Optical performance is just as necessary as camera performance and this becomes even more critical given the challenges of filming underwater. The Nauticam NA-Z7II uses the same N120 Port System as the previous NA-Z7 which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading to the "II." While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of F and Z Mount lenses, the real power of the Z 6II and Z 7II can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics. This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations. The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6. The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Nikon 105mm f/2.8G VR macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 105mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier.

The core control layout, proven by generations of existing housings in the field, is retained here. This design consistency results in immediate familiarity with the control layout for people that have used Nauticam housings before, and a thoroughly refined and field tested design for newcomers to the brand. The new Nauticam NA-5DMIV housing incorporates technology from the Nauticam housings that came before it, but features enhanced ergonomics, more and better control access, and reduced size/weight thanks to cutting edge manufacturing processes. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS: Flash Triggering Dual Nikonos Bulkheads Pre-Installed Replacement O-Ring 90134 Vacuum System Pre-installed FLASH FIRING The NA-5DMKIV Housing comes standard with twin Nikonos flash connectors for electrical strobe triggering. An optional LED flash trigger is available for rapid fire optical triggering (manual power), and a new TTL Flash Trigger enables automatic flash exposure with compatible strobes. The Nauticam TTL Flash Trigger is an ideal accessory for the still photographer. This hotshoe mounted optical flash trigger provides automatic TTL Flash when used with Inon S-TTL and Sea & Sea DS-TTL Strobes connected by fiber optic cables. The TTL trigger also offers manual triggering, including rear curtain sync, with any compatible slave strobe. Accurate automatic TTL flash exposure has been a favorite feature of Nauticam photographers using cameras with pop up flashes, and the TTL Trigger unlocks this feature set in the NA-5DMKIV Housing. Powered by a single Canon NB-13L rechargeable battery, the TTL Trigger provides approximately 150 full power flashes. New in NA-5DMKIV, a window allows the flash trigger status LED to be clearly viewed, and the housing features a power button. This LED provides important status info, and the power button allows the trigger to be activated underwater. Optical TTL Strobe Compatibility: Inon S-2000, D-2000, and Z-240 Sea & Sea YS-D1, YS-D2, and YS-01 EASE OF USE No competing system is easier to assemble or break down. The camera drops into the housing with a quick release camera tray. No controls need to be preset, as housing functions for dials and switches align automatically (on/off, af-m, still photo/video). The large 120mm housing port opening allows even the largest popular pro Canon wide angle lens (11-24mm f/4) to be used, and the camera can even be mounted in the housing with this large lens attached. VIEWFINDERS The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel friendly, but many photographers prefer the ease of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopter. Nauticam produces a “straight” 180º enlarging viewfinder and a 45º angled enlarging viewfinder to enhance the ease of close quarters work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders have high quality optics, and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external dioptric adjustment allows personal adjustment to a sharp-as-a-tack standard underwater and viewfinder changes can be executed in less than 30 seconds without using tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been more accessible. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Experienced shooters know a camera is only as good as the lens in front of it, and the same is true when choosing optics for an underwater camera system. Four optically coated glass dome ports (250mm, 230mm, 180mm, and 140mm diameters) and a series of acrylic ports support popular lenses from Canon, Sigma, and Tokina. Port configurations are extensively tested at Nauticam to determine the ideal extension ring length for best performance. For macro and super macro shooting, the Nauticam Super Macro Converter is a revolutionary accessory. This is an entirely in-house design, optimized for use in water. The water contact correction offers the highest overall sharpness, free from chromatic aberration and purple fringing, with reproduction ratios exceeding 2:1 when used with a EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-5DMKIV as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve (PN 25625), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Canon EOS R3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R3 CAMERA The Canon EOS R3 in all respects appears to be the mirrorless sibling of the 1DX Mark III DSLR, clearly aimed at fulfilling many of the same roles while offering some additional capabilities through the use of the electronic viewfinder and the larger RF lens mount.  The full-frame 24.1MP Stacked CMOS sensor, in addition to having incredible low-light performance, can also capture full-width 6K video in both Raw and compressed formats at up to 60fps.  The R3 is paired to Canon's industry leading Dual Pixel AF system with 100% frame coverage and the now revived Eye AF system. DUAL PIXEL AF II Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus system has long been a favorite of underwater users, especially when it comes to tacking subjects.  With the R3, the system adds an additional 'Animal' recognition mode which might make the system even more reliable at following moving subjects.  Frame coverage is 100% with 1053 zones to ensure accurate focus wherever the subject may be. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE The ability to increase a camera's ISO with little penalty is of critical importance to underwater shooters for both stills and video as shooting with higher F-stop values delivers sharper corners and higher shutter speeds mean less motion blur.  The higher video frame rates also benefit by allowing the shooter to maintain a 180º shutter while still maintaining adequate aperture values.  When using color correction filters, which can often remove more than a full stop of light, compensation via ISO is not as much of an issue for overall image quality.  Maintaining dynamic range, even at high ISO levels is also important for those shooting still images using natural light or in poor water conditions. ENHANCED CONTROLS The R3 features an additional control wheel located at the upper right rear of the camera which doubles as the mode control.  This wheel can be assigned a variety of functions such as ISO and is adjusted by a dedicated control wheel on the housing within easy reach of the right handle.   VIDEO CAPABILITIES The Canon R3 can capture 6K video at up to 60fps in either Raw or more compressed formats.  The 6K capture uses the full sensor width which means no loss in field-of-view.  12-bit 6K capture is possible in both uncompressed Canon Raw or compressed Raw light formats.  10-bit H.265 is also possible in both the HDR PQ and Canon Log3 gamma curves to maximize dynamic range for post processing while maintaining smaller file sizes than a Raw format.  It's also possible (when using supported cards) to simultaneously record 10-bit 4:2:2 DCI 4K 60p video.  For those looking for higher frame rates, 10-bit 4:2:2 compressed 4K/120fps can also be captured, downsampled from the full sensor width.  A natively sampled 4K S35 crop is also an option, allowing for more magnification or the use of APS-C lenses.  The R3 also outputs a clean 6K signal over HDMI via an HDMI Micro Type D connector.  Direct custom white balance in live view is also now possible, making a critical function for underwater video even easier. STABILIZATION The R3 features 5-axis In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) which can offer up to 8 stops of correction allowing for even smoother video and less camera movement related blur. LARGE ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER The R3's EVF is an OLED 5.76M-dot that features an OVF simulation mode which leverages. the large dynamic range of the OLED screen to reproduce a scene the way it would look through an optical viewfinder.  The lower dynamic range of electronic viewfinders has always made them more difficult to use underwater, especially in high contrast or backlit scenes. This function can easily be switched on and off by assigning it to a custom function button.  When using the Electronic Shutter, which has an X-Sync speed of 1/180sec, the EVF delivers true no-blackout shooting up to 30fps.   Example setup THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself.  Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies.  Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam engineers design each housing to insure that controls are placed where they are needed most and within easy reach of a natural hand position.  The NA-R3 features large knurled control dials for the main and sub-command dials as well as an additional shoulder dial for the customizable control wheel of the R3.  A fourth control wheel, near the front of the left handle can articulate the ring of the optional EF-to-RF lens adapter when using EF lenses.  There is a dual thumb lever on the right side for Record and AF-ON as well as single levers for M-Fn and Fn2.  A lever on the left side actuates the Pv control which can change between exposure preview and OVF simulation modes on the EVF.  An additional dual thumb lever on the left side is for Playback and Magnification. HDMI 2.0 AND MOUNTING POINTS The R3 can output clean 6K 60p over HDMI and the NA-R3 features a large bore M24 bulkhead to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to an external monitor or recorder.  Mounting the monitor or recorder or other accessories is even easier with 3x 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as an additional M10 mounting point atop the housing.  Check the resources sidebar for supported monitor/recorder housings and recommended accessories. FLASH TRIGGERING Flash triggering can be accomplished via the two included M14 electronic bulkheads (One is pre-installed in the M24 bulkhead via a removable M26-M14 adapter).  If using fiber-optic triggering, the built-in fiber optic bulkheads can be used with either the optional manual LED or TTL-flash triggers to provide the desired type of strobe power control. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-R3 is built around the N120 Canon RF-mount Port System which supports a wide array of Canon RF mount lenses with a selection of optical glass and acrylic ports.  With lens-removal controls for both EF and RF mount lenses, the NA-R3 can support both lens mount types without modification to the housing.  The EF-RF lens adapter is accommodated inside the housing which allows for the use of the N120 Canon EF-mount Port System without any additional extension rings.  When switching between an EF and RF lens, the camera must be removed to install or remove the adapter.  The Nauticam lineup of Premium Professional Optics can deliver unparalleled optical quality and expanded creative options. When used with the Canon RF 14-35 F/4 IL USM lens, the WACP-2 creates a stunning 140º field-of-view while maintaining an incredibly natural looking image and excellent corner sharpness.  The SMC-1 delivers 2.3x macro magnification to the RF 100mm macro lens while the SMC-2 delivers 3.3x. VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M16 Vacuum Valve (25625). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Nikon D7500 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Nikon D850 Underwater housing by Nauticam
Nikon's follow-up to the amazing D810 is the equally impressive D850. With updates that both still and video shooters will appreciate the D850 will be a top choice for underwater shooters. The Nauticam NA-D850 is the latest release in the world's finest line of underwater camera housings. Built on a foundation of innovative product design and modern manufacturing technology, NA-D850 is the ultimate accessory for the exciting new Nikon D850 camera. NIKON D850 DSLR-Camera The new Nikon D850 combines a stunning amount of resolution - 45.7 mega pixels - with the blazing fast autofocus also found in Nikon's professional D5 camera. In the past the highest resolution Nikon bodies traded continuous shooting speed for megapixel count, but thankfully that is no longer the case. Upgraded processing allows the D850 to fire at an impressive 7 frames per second, and a large 51 shot Raw buffer provides ample runway for fast action capture. The D850 also inherits the ISO64 base sensitivity from D810. High ISO performance in low light usually gets all the attention, but this extremely low ISO level was key to the excellent sunball capture capability of the D810 camera. The D850 promises more of the same in higher resolution. The Multi-CAM 20K focus system has 153 focus points (99 cross-type sensors), and works in conjunction with a 180k pixel RGB metering sensor. This metering sensor drives the advanced Nikon exposure system, and is also used to provide scene data for 3D focus tracking, improving accuracy. A new .75x Magnification optical viewfinder is the largest found on any Nikon SLR camera, providing a clear, bright view for framing and focus. Electronic viewfinders and large LCD screens simply can't match the precision of an optical viewfinder. The D850 offers 4K video capture from the entire sensor width at up to 30 frames per second. This is a key development from Nikon for the motion capture world. Previous offerings have cropped the sensor significantly when capturing 4K, changing the field of view of the attached lens significantly. Nikon D850 Key Specifications 45.7MP BSI CMOS sensor 7 fps continuous shooting with AE/AF 153-point AF system linked to 180,000-pixel metering system UHD 4K video capture at up to 30p from full sensor width 1080 video at up to 120p 4:2:2 8-bit UHD uncompressed HDMI output while recording to card 1 XQD slot and 1 UHS II-compliant SD slot 19.4MP DX crop mode THE NAUTICAM NA-D850 UNDERWATER HOUSING Innovation, ergonomics, and reliability are the hallmarks of the Nauticam brand. Every new housing design is carefully crafted based on feedback from Nauticam users around the globe. Feedback gained from the knowledge and experience of Nauticam owners results in every new housing design being better than the last. Key camera controls are placed within an easy reach from the ergonomic, rubberized handles. An incredible amount of design resources go into crafting this layout, but that effort pays off with unmatched ease of use. Controls on the housing are placed exactly where they should be for easiest access in water, regardless of the camera layout. The right grip is mission control for the D850 camera, accessing many of the frequently used camera functions. Oversized levers are identifiable by feel, allowing tactile operation while framing with the optical viewfinder. The most frequently accessed fingertip controls (Shutter Release, Main Command Dial, and Sub Command Dial, Video Record, and AF-ON) are located here. ISO, the primary exposure control used by DSLR video shooters, is accessed by a convenient thumb lever under the right grip. INFO, useful for calling up the camera settings on the 3.2" rear color LCD, is placed at the right thumb. The Nikon D850 camera in a Nauticam NA-D850 underwater housing offers four assignable pushbuttons (AF-ON, Fn1, Fn2, and Pv) that can all be accessed from the housing handles. These custom functions can be overwhelming at first, but the creative options they unlock can be incredibly valuable in the field. In short, these assignable buttons mean less time digging through camera menus to change camera functions, and more time capturing the scene as it unfolds. There isn't a right way configure these systems. Every photographer and shooting scenario has unique demands. Some ideas are listed below: 1 Step Spd / Aperture, allows changing exposure settings in full f-stop increments. Think about changing from a wide angle scenic mode with relatively open aperture and slow shutter speed to a close focus wide angle shot that requires a closed aperture to shrink a sun-ball. My Menu, a customized panel with frequently accessed menus settings Access Top Item in MY MENU, actually jumps into a frequently accessed sub menu structure for the top level My Menu selection, saving at least two button presses. (ie min shutter speed in auto iso mode, or quickly define a preset white balance) Quickly access another metering mode, toggling between the selected metering pattern and an alternate that more appropriately evaluates the current scene. Flash disable / enable, this is a big one! Toggles external flashes on and off, allowing a switch between artificial light shooting (continuous shooting speed limited by flash recycle, and shutter speed limited by the strobe max sync speed at 1/250) to silhouette mode using only ambient light (full 7 fps continuous shooting speed, unrestricted flash sync speed). AF-area mode + AF-ON – very cool functionality, for a quick way of accessing a focus mode other than the mode currently assigned and activating it while held down. Placed at the right ring finger via the re-positioned PV lever, the current focus mode be overridden with something like auto area focus for quick grab shots where there isn't time to move the selected autofocus point, or change focus area patterns. EXTERNAL FLASH TRIGGERING The NA-D850 uses the same integrated LED flash triggering system found in NA-D5 and NA-D500. This low profile housing mounted circuit board is convenient, easy to use, and reliable. This optical flash trigger can fire at the full 7 fps of the camera, making it the ideal solution for the rapid fire fast action shooting that the D850 is so well suited for. Optical systems, with fiber optic cables linking the external flashes to the housing, are far more reliable than any electrical sync cable system. There are no connections to flood, or fragile wires to break, and nearly every popular underwater strobe supports optical triggering. The LED trigger circuitboard is mounted directly to the front of the housing, and connected to the camera with a hotshoe cable. This new system is more powerful than the hotshoe mounted LED triggers used in the past, and is compatible with all currently available optically triggered flashes! Powered by two CR2032 batteries, battery life is measured in the tens of thousands of flashes, driven by incredibly efficient electronics. With good batteries, we expect 3-5 years of service, up to 50,000 exposures. Users of legacy flashes without optical triggering are able to add accessory Nikonos (NA26074) or Ikelite (NA26075) style bulkheads for electrical flash sync. These bulkheads plug into the LED trigger board for clean cable routing, and reliable connection. The Nauticam Underwater Housing for the Nikon D850 is also compatible with the Nauticam TTL Converter (NA26308). A user installable upgrade, the converter provides accurate automatic TTL flash exposure with a number of popular flashes, and offers both optical and electrical strobe triggering in a single unit! Optical triggering, using LEDs integrated into the board and fiber optic cables, works well with modern flashes like Inon Z-240, Sea & Sea YS-D2, and more. Electrical triggering supports Ikelite DS- and Sea & Sea YS-250 strobes connected via an electrical sync cord. EASE OF USE No system is easier to assemble or break down. The camera drops into the housing with a quick release camera tray. The camera tray has an extending bracket that allows the AF-M selector to be easily positioned to match the camera. No controls need to be preset, as housing functions for dials and switches align automatically (on/off, af-m, still photo/video). The large 120mm housing port opening allows even the largest popular pro Nikon wide angle lens (14-24 /2.8G) to be used, and the camera can even be mounted in the housing with this large lens attached. Premium Professional Optics Experienced shooters know a camera is only as good as the lens in front of it, and the same is true when choosing optics for an underwater camera system. Four optically coated glass dome ports (250mm, 230mm, 180mm, and 140mm diameters) and a series of acrylic ports support popular lenses from Nikon, Sigma, and Tokina. Port configurations are extensively tested at Nauticam to determine the ideal extension ring length for best performance. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-D850 as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve (PN 25625), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Panasonic Lumix GH6 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The Panasonic GH5 brought high-end video specs to the micro four thirds platform, setting the bar for what was possible in this compact form-factor. Since the GH5, the open-source MFT actor has grown, with a massive variety of lenses available and camera specifications that rival or exceed some of their larger siblings. The GH6 follows closely in the GH5's footsteps, adding incredible new video features and even some notable still image enhancements. The GH5, GH5s, and GH5II have been well represented in the underwater imaging space and the arrival of the GH6 is sure to be met with serious enthusiasm given the spec sheet and early reviews. The Panasonic GH6 Camera The GH6 is built around a brand-new 25MP CMOS sensor paired to Panasonic's Venus processor. The new sensor, assisted by the addition of a CFExpress B card slot and a built-in cooling fan, can capture up to 5.7K video in the edit-friendly ProRes codec. While ProRes is currently limited to the 17:9 full 5.7K at 29.97p frame-rate recording mode, future firmware updates promised expanding this to all 4K and HD modes as well. While not in ProRes, the GH6 can record 10-bit 4:2:0 DCI or UHD 4K at up to 120fps using LongGOP H.264 compression. Dropping that frame rate to 60p allows for 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, All-i recording at a heavy 800Mbps bitrate. If 120fps is not slow enough, switching to HD opens up the possibility of 10-bit H.264 video at 240fps and even up to 300fps using Variable Frame Rate (VFR) mode which does not allow for audio recording. The menu for the various recording modes can be filtered to ease finding your desired mode and a personalized menu or 'My List' of selected modes can be created. When shooting at 60fps or lower, the GH6's Dynamic Range Boost mode can be activated. This mode uses both a low-gain and high-gain simultaneous readout from the sensor to create a final image with up to 13-stops of dynamic range. The GH6 also features Panasonic's full V-log profile which maximizes dynamic range for post-processing. The GH5 model only had a limited version of this profile. With a full-size HDMI port, the GH6 plays well with external monists and recorders, outputting a clean 4K/60p signal. Future firmware updates promise 4K/120P RAW output over HDMI. Not just a video camera, the GH6 also has notable improvements for still imaging. A new handheld mode for the high-resolution 100MP imaging mode expands the situations in which this can be used as previous versions required a tripod. For both stills and video, improvements in Autofocus and lower noise levels promise even better performance and image quality than was found in the GH5. Controls such as the prominent Record button remain similar aside from a button that gives direct access to the camera's audio settings and an additional custom function button on the front of the camera. The screen receives a refresh, as does the electronic viewfinder. THE NAUTICAM NA-GH6 UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-GH6 builds on the pioneering NA-GH5 which supports the GH5, GH5S and GH5II camera models. Designed around the N85 Port System, the range of lens and port combinations for the NA-GH6 is unparalleled. Image quality can be improved even further with Nauticam's lineup of water-contact optics. These lenses, such as the WWL-1 and WWL-1B are designed to increase field-of-view, maximize corner sharpness and close-focus capability, all while maintaining zoom-through functionality. Using our unique bayonet mount system, these ultra-wide lenses can be switched for the powerful CMC-1 and CMC-2 macro optics underwater. This system makes the NA-GH6 the perfect underwater imaging system for both stills and video allowing for unparalleled wide and macro performance on the same dive without compromising image quality. MISSION CONTROL Designed with our Mission Control philosophy, the controls of the NA-GH6 are placed where they are needed most with essential controls for exposure and focus located within easy reach of the handles. A dual thumb lever near the right handle provides easy access to the 'REC' and 'AF-ON' buttons. A dual-action lever that triggers the 'Fn1' and 'Fn2' buttons is easily reached forward of the right handle as well. HDMI VIDEO OUTPUT With an M24 bulkhead and an M10 threaded mount, the NA-GH6 is easily paired with an external monitor or recorder over HDMI 2.0 or 1.4. With future firmware updates promising RAW video output at up to 4K/120p over HDMI, the NA-GH6 will be ready to meet that Need. MANUAL OPTICAL STROBE TRIGGERING Rapid fire manual triggering is available with the 26309 Mini Flash Trigger.  The Panasonic DMW FL-70 Flash Unit is not compatible with the GH6.   VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The NA-GH6 underwater housing by Nauticam comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M14 Vacuum Valve (25624). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Canon EOS R7 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The latest Canon APS-C mirrorless camera is finally here!  The Canon EOS R7 utilizes Canon's newest RF mount and boasts a 32.5MP CMOS sensor.  Crop-sensor cameras have always been popular with the underwater shooter community and with good reason. Lens choices, size, and weight are just a few of the great features that shooting APS-C cameras has. The EOS R7 gives original Canon 7D and 7D Mark II shooters a great reason to upgrade and Nauticam is ready to help with the NA-R7 housing.   The Canon EOS R7 Camera The Canon EOS R7 is the latest in Canon's APS-C mirrorless camera lineup which has gained unprecedented demand.  It features the RF lens mount which has the same large 54mm diameter but the ability to have larger rear lens elements that are closer to the sensor gives increased corner and outer edge sharpness.  The R7 uses a 32.5MP CMOS sensor with in-body image stabilization which can reduce shake by up to 7 stops.  The camera's Dual Pixel II autofocus system was carried over from the pro body EOS R3 and features 651 automatic AF points covering the entire sensor area.  It is also capable of recording oversampled 4K 30p video using the full 7K area of the sensor, or subsampled UHD 4K up to 60p from the full sensor width.   The Canon EOS R7 can also use the large EF-mount lens lineup via a simple EF to EOS R adaptor.  The Nauticam NA-R7 housing only supports the the standard EF to EOS R adaptor and does give access to the control ring or drop in filter adaptors.   Key features - Canon EOS R7 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF Up to 30 fps shooting (e-shutter), 15 fps with mechanical In-body image stabilization, rated at up to 7 stops Oversampled UHD 4K up to 30p, line-skipped or cropped 4K/60p 10-bit video as 'PQ' true HDR footage or C-Log 2.36M dot OLED viewfinder 1.62M dot fully-articulating touchscreen Twin UHS-II SD card slot Environmental sealing The Canon EOS R7 underwater housing from Nauticam   The NA-R7 underwater housing follows suit with Nauticam's drive for innovation. Like the full frame Canon EOS R5, R5 C and R3, the NA-R7 present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has designed a N100 to N120 adapter which integrates into the N120 Canon EF port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS R7 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF-S lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the new N100 RF-S Port Chart.  Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R7 where a dual thumb lever is placed by the right front side accessing the M-Fn and Record buttons.  On the rear right side is a thumb lever accessing AF-ON. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback." Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles. Flash triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26305) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available. Integrated system for vacuum testing and leak detection The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R7 as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve (NA25624) this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Nauticam has housed more mirrorless cameras, and more Sony E Mount cameras than any other housing manufacturer. This experience results in the most evolved housing line with broadest range of accessories available today. Pioneering optical accessories elevate performance to a new level. Magnifying viewfinders, the sharpest super macro accessory lenses ever made, and now the highest quality water contact wide angle lenses (the WWL-1 and WACP-1) combine with the NA-A7CII/R housing to form a complete imaging system. Nauticam is known for ergonomics, and an unmatched experience. Key controls are placed at the photographer’s fingertips. The housing and accessories are light weight, and easy to assemble. The camera drops in without any control presetting, and lens port changes are effortless. NA-A7CII/R features an integrated handle system. This ergonomic style provides exceptional control access, even with thick gloves, with ideal placement of the shutter release and a thumb-lever to actuate the AF-ON button from the right handle. Nauticam build quality is well known by underwater photographers around the globe. The housing is machined from a solid block of aluminum, then hard anodized making it impervious to salt water corrosion. Marine grade stainless and plastic parts complete the housing, and it is backed by a two year warranty against manufacturing defects. PREMIUM OPTICS Several in-house Nauticam optical designs, designed by founder and Managing Director Edward Lai, are the perfect lenses to pair with an a7C underwater system. The magic of the water contact lenses is their tremendous versatility, paired with outstanding in-water performance. Both macro and super wide angle optics are available to the underwater photographer on the same dive. These lenses are completely engineered for use in water, providing the highest image quality available today in a water contact optic.  While there are many options, we'll focus on the most compact and versatile setup to match the travel friendly size of the a7C.   WWL-1 is a wide angle conversion lens, compatible with the Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 lens, providing 130 degree diagonal field of view with full zoom through! The WWL-1 offers class leading center sharpness, corner sharpness, and contrast resulting in some of the best wide angle images possible underwater. CMC-1 and CMC-2 provide the best macro performance for the Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 lens, with two different magnification strengths, suitable for a wide variety of macro subjects.  CMC-2 is less strong, making it easier to use with more accurate autofocus. CMC-1 is best suited for the smallest of macro subjects. Macro enthusiasts will surely want both! FAST AND RELIABLE FLASH TRIGGERING Reliable rapid fire manual flash triggering is available with the NA-A7CII/R for a variety of optically fired flashes when used with the LED Flash Trigger (NA26302). The NA-A7C comes fiber optic ready and accepts the Universal Fiber Optic Cable (NA26216). Strobes and light arms can be attached to the housing via included 1″ accessory mounting balls.  Electrical strobe triggering is still an option for those with an investment in legacy lighting gear, requiring the purchase of an accessory electrical bulkhead (NA25056). INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-A7C as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve (NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur.

INTRODUCING NAUTICAM FULL FRAME STRAIGHT VIEWFINDER 32°/ 1:1 For over a decade, Nauticam’s Enhanced Viewfinders have been known for superior optics, tack sharp performance and first-of-its-kind underwater dioptric adjustment. 32º/1:1 VS. 40º/0.8:1 Because different photographers have different needs and priorities, Nauticam offers the Full Frame Straight Viewfinder in two options. HASSLE-FREE UNDERWATER DIOPTRIC ADJUSTMENT The much-loved dioptric adjustment is still featured and allows for easy eyesight adjustment in-water without disassembly of the viewfinder.  as well as the simple installation and removal that takes only seconds. TOOL FREE INSTALLATION The Nauticam Full Frame Straight Viewfinder can be installed in seconds without any tools.  The viewfinder is a direct replacement of the stock 0.66X viewfinder on DSLR and many full-frame mirrorless housings but requires an easily installed adapter on certain MIL housings. Whether future proofing a viewfinder purchase for your current rig, or patiently waiting for a viewfinder worthy of the latest pro mirrorless camera you are diving, these cutting-edge viewfinders are the new industry standard to be looking at.
