Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K Underwater Housing by Nauticam
With the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Blackmagic is giving users affordable 4K Raw video. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K delivers true DCI 4K capture at 60fps recorded in either 12-bit Blackmagic raw format or a variety of 10-bit ProRes flavors. Video can be recorded internally to SD or CFast 2.0 cards or via USB-C to a compact SSD. The MicroFourThirds mount means a large selection of lenses. The Nauticam NA-BMPCCII goes beyond just housing the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K by also supporting additional batteries, a portable SSD and the ability to use external monitors or Recorders. THE BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA 4K Blackmagic has built its reputation on defying convention and over-delivering specifications at a reasonable price point. This has perhaps never been truer than with the new Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Sporting a spec sheet that compares to cameras costing thousands of dollars more, the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K provides true DCI 4K @ 60fps from its MFT sensor with an impressive 13 stops of dynamic range. 1080 HD can be recorded up to 120fps in windowed format. Particularly impressive; the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K can record this resolution internally to UHSII V90 SD or CFast 2.0 cards in either 10-Bit ProRes or 12-Bit Raw formats. This significant improvement in workflow for professionals and enthusiasts can be taken even further with the world’s first USB-C output to compact SSD recording provided by any manufacturer. Not only does this allow up to 2TB of storage for uninterrupted shooting, it provides immediate access to clips for editing. No additional downloads or transcoding! Underwater shooters will appreciate the new dual native ISO allowing superior lowlight/low noise performance as well the large, bright five inch touchscreen monitor with extensive tools that may eliminate the need for an external monitor in many applications. The Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K may well prove to be the ultimate run-and-gun camera whether as a primary rig or the “small” B camera that goes where others won’t. Noteworthy Specifications: Full size HDMI with clean 10-Bit Output 3D LUT compatible – whether just for monitoring or baked into the footage as well 4 built in mics and mini-XLR audio input with 48V phantom power Standard Canon LP-E6 Batteries 4th Generation Black Magic Color Science THE NA-BMPCCII UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-BMPCCII is not just an update of the original NA-BMPCC, it is a ground up redesign for the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K designed to take full advantage of the great new features of this cinema camera. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam's design philosophy is driven by allowing immediate access to all essential controls within easy reach of the handles, allowing the shooter to make adjustments without having to take their eyes off the screen. Within reach of the right handle are the trigger as well as a control dial for iris, a lever to capture still images as well as a double thumb lever for the white balance and autofocus. A recessed double thumb lever, situated between the trigger and the rear thumb lever accesses the ISO and Shutter Angle (Shutter Speed). Three assignable buttons are atop the housing near the right handle as well as three buttons on the right rear for HFR, Auto-Iris, Zoom and Menu. A thumb lever on the left side activates Review. The NA-BMPCCII features DSLR style ergonomic handles with stainless steel stiffening brackets that are compatible with the optional handle strap (PN 28130). The rear monitor window is compatible with the Monitor Shade for the NA-502 Housing (PN 17916) which attaches via four screws. The underside of the housing has mounting points for use with the Tripod Mounting Ball Set (PN 25218) removing the use for a bulky tripod plate. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-BMPCCII is built around the N85 Port System which offers a variety of port configurations for a large selection of lenses. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a four thirds lens mount making it compatible with the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 II R lens that when paired with the WWL-1 provides ultra-sharp full-zoom-through wide-angle performance. The WWL-1, when used with the bayonet mount system can be exchanged underwater for the optional CMC-1 or CMC-2 to allow for the capturing of up to 130º wide-angle, macro and super-macro all on the same dive. HDMI 2.0 READY The housing features several bulkheads including the large-bore M28 which supports the use of an HDMI 2.0 recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V through the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V Housing (PN 17922). CUSTOM BATTERY PACK AND SSD SUPPORT To allow for increased run-time, the NA-BMPCCII comes with a custom battery cage that holds 4 x 18650 Lithium Batteries (batteries not included). This battery cage sits securely beneath the camera inside the housing and connects directly to the camera's power supply input. With 4x3400 mAh batteries, the run-time of the system can exceed 3 hours. Atop the camera's position inside the housing is a slot that holds a compact T5 SSD which connects to the camera via USB-C. Run Times Canon LP-E6 internal battery: 40min 4 x 16850 Battery: up to 160min Total Run Time: 3hrs 20min VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-BMPCCII as standard equipment. With the pre-installed vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Sony A7/A7R Underwater Housing (No electrical bulkhead) by Nauticam

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA 6K More than just a 6K version of the already capable Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K adds a larger Super35 sensor behind an EF lens mount. Bothy cameras feature the ability to capture full-resolution (6K at 6144 x 3456) capture at 60fps in BlackMagic RAW format. Dual Native ISO means there are two base ISO levels, ISO 400 for scenes with adequate natural light and ISO 3200 for those low-light situations. Each of the base ISO levels offers a similar level of dynamic range while minimizing noise in the image. The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K also supports the use of an external power supply and recording direct to external media via USB-C 3.1. An HDMI output (1080p) allows for the use of an external monitor or recorder. Key Camera Specs Super35 21.2MP 6K Sensor EF lens mount 6k (6144 x 3456) at 60p BlackMagic RAW and ProRes recording Dual Native ISO (400 and 3200) 13 stops of Dynamic Range THE NAUTICAM NA-BMPCC6K UNDERWATER HOUSING Nauticam is a leader in underwater cinema housings and the NA-BMPCC6K leverages this experience to create the ultimate tool for the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K owner. N120 Port System With the camera's new 6K Super35 sensor, the larger EF mount means the NA-BMPCC6K is designed around Nauticam's N120 Port System. The addition of cinema styled Zoom and Focus knobs to the housing adds to the flexibility of the system, allowing users to choose between N120 Cinema System EF-mount gears OR N120 DSLR Canon EF-mount gears. When used with the Cinema System gears, Focus and Zoom are controlled by the control dials on the housing, whereas with the standard DSLR style gears the function will be similar to that on a Nauticam DSLR housing with the Zoom controlled on the housing and Focus by the control gear on the port extension. In addition to the standard ports available in this system the NA-BMPCC6K will have access to the latest Nauticam premium professional optics such as the Wide Angle Conversion Port (WACP), the SMC-1/2 magnifiers. T5 SSD Support More than just an underwater housing, the NA-BMPCC6K is an underwater cinema platform. Inside the housing is dedicated notch for a Samsung T5 USB-C SSD. The BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K can record directly to the T5, making the transition from capture to edit seamless. More Power The included Nauticam 18650 Battery Holder can hold 4 x 18650 lithium batteries (not included) to power the camera for up to 2.5 hours and is securely mounted below the camera yet easy to remove and charge. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are driven to produce housings that are intuitive and easy to use. Essential to the capture process is effortless access to the camera's essential controls. On the housing's left side are large cinema-style focus and zoom gear controls. The NA-BMPCC6K features Nauticam's refined ergonomic handles with stainless steel stiffening brackets and changeable accessory mounting points. From the left handle a thumb lever accesses the Playback function. From the right handle the record lever and a dual-action lever for ISO and shutter speed can be reached. A second thumb lever towards the rear activates the White Balance and Focus controls. Sony A7 II/A7IIR Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The NA-A7II looks very similar to the NA-A7 and the housings have about the same dimensions. Nevertheless, this is an underwater housing specially tuned for the Sony alpha 7 Mark II. The NA-A7II comes with integrated adjustable grips that feature Nauticam's famous rubberized grip. The AF/MF/AEL button has been specially equipped on the right side of the grip with a direct access lever that can be reached instantly with the right thumb. This allows the button to be programmed for AF-ON, which means that "thumb focus" fans have perfect functionality. The output can be operated at the same time, allowing simultaneous focusing and shooting. As with many Nauticam housings, the playback button is placed on the left thumb, and the three adjustment ratios (shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation) can be set quickly and with minimal reach. The ISO button is located immediately near the right thumb, important for videographers. The record button is located in the upper right, preventing shake when starting/stopping video. Underwater Tribe | NA-A7II from Nauticam on Vimeo. The function menu button öopens the general camera settings for a quick menu, and this button is not far away with the right thumb. The programmable C3 button is very accessible and can be programmed for one of several functions. The housing features a switch to toggle between the electronic viewfinder and LCD, allowing quick and safe switching between viewing modes, and supports Nauticam's familiar magnifying viewfinders. A Nauticam mini flash output designed specifically for Sony is an available option that enables the camera to shoot quickly with flood-proof optical cables. The housing includes an M16 connector for an optional HDMI output, Nikonos sync cable, or other external accessory. The NA-A7II accommodates the camera's unexpectedly large grip. Rather than compromise on image quality, Nauticam designers chose to create ports to account for this difference, hence a separate entry in the port table for this housing. High-quality professional look Sony's original A7 and A7R cameras sparked a lot of interest in using full-frame for mirrorless cameras. For the underwater photographer, this enthusiasm quickly waned due to the relatively limited lens selection. Underwater photographers rely on very wide angle lenses and macro lenses, and these were nowhere to be found. This changed spätestens with the release of a 16-35mm wide-angle zoom. This is a lens from the Sony Zeiss partnership, designated the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS. It's a terrific straight wide-angle zoom that focuses close and offers very good all-around sharpness with medium to large dome ports. Nauticam's 180mm dome is the ideal choice for this lens. For macro lovers, Sony has launched a 90mm macro lens (Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS). Also available now is a 28mm f/2 lens with fisheye adapter, äsimilar to what Sony did with the fisheye and wide-angle adapter on the 16mm lens for the NEX series. This is an attractive option for fisheye lenses, as it allows for multiple configurations with a single lens. Owners of Canon full-frame lenses such as the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM or EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM will appreciate the versatility of their lenses with the A7 series. This is made possible by a Metabones adapter (Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III or Mark IV)). These lenses are well suited for the A7 series and allow both aperture and autofocus control via the camera. Finder options Precision requires foresight: a camera like the Sony A7 II / A7RII requires perfect focus for optimal results. Fortunately, Nauticam has developed the most user-friendly interchangeable viewfinders on the market. The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel friendly, but many photographers prefer the convenience of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopters. Nauticam produces a "straight" 180º magnifying viewfinder and a 45º angled magnifying viewfinder to facilitate the tight-space work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders feature high-quality optics and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external diopter adjustment allows for personalized, pin-sharp adjustment underwater. Viewfinder changes can be performed in less than 30 seconds without tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been so accessible.  Vacuum inspection and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum prüf and leak detection system is available as standard with NA-A7II. Combined with an optional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the watertight and submersible condition of the housing. The operator can see at a glance the watertight and submersible condition of the walker. A simple coded LED lighting system indicates to the user if the vacuum is stable or if the walker is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given when water enters.

Sony A9 Underwater Housing by Nauticam

Sony A7R III and A7III Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Sony, pioneers of the full-frame mirrorless camera with their A7 line have brought us their latest iteration and it is awesome. Taking cues from the just-released A9 the A7RIII adds better autofocus, faster continuous shooting, and the still-awesome 5-axis stabilization rated at an amazing 5.5 stops. 4K is recorded from downsampled 5K using the full sensor width or the Super 35 crop mode is also available for a little in-camera zoom. THE SONY ALPHA A7R III The Sony a7R III is the company's latest high-resolution full frame mirrorless camera. Much like Nikon's recent D850, it's one that combines resolution with high speed and fast autofocus capabilities to a degree we've not previously seen. The Sony a7R III achieved an overall DxOMark sensor score of 100 points, the same as the Nikon D850. This makes it the highest-scoring mirrorless system camera to date, beating the A7R II by two points. The a7R III is built around it's 42MP BSI CMOS sensor and can shoot up to ten frames per second. 4K footage can be captured either from the full width of the sensor or from a Super 35 size crop. The camera can also shoot 1080p video at up to 120p and has a function to conform this footage back down to 24 or 30p, if you want out-of-camera slow-mo. These functions are also available from both the full width of the sensor or from the cropped region. 5-axis image stabilization ('Steadyshot') is available in all modes. The a7R III inherits many of the lessons learned from the company's pro-sports model, the a9. This means faster processing, improved autofocus, improved handling and ergonomics, as well as the adoption of a much larger battery! Sony Alpha a7RIII Key Camera Specifications 42MP BSI CMOS sensor Faster, lower-noise image processing 10 fps shooting with full AF, 8 fps with 'live' updates between shots 3.69M dot (1280 x 960 pixel) OLED viewfinder Improved autofocus, including more tenacious Eye AF mode 5-axis image stabilization, rated at 5.5 stops (CIPA) with 50mm lens 4K footage from 'Super 35' crop region oversampled from 5K capture Video AF less inclined to refocus to background 'Picture Profile' video gamma/gamut modes including S-Log2 and 3 Twin SD Card slots (one UHS-I and one UHS-II compatible) Bayer-cancelling multi-shot mode for improved resolution True 14 bit uncompressed Raw, even in continuous drive mode Use of phase detection (including Eye AF) at 3 fps with adapted lenses THE SONY ALPHA A7 III CAMERA A full frame mirrorless 24.2 MP sensor that offers 14 bit RAW imaging at 10 fps. The sensor itself is 5-axis stabilized and features 693 phase-detection AF points covering 93% of the image area in addition to 425 contrast-detection points. The A7 III is able to capture UHD 4K at 30p and 100 Mbit/s and includes Hybrid Log Gamma as well as Sony S-Log. Sony Alpha A7III Key Camera Specifications: 24.2MP Full Frame CMOS Sensor Full-frame or Super 35 readout 4K UHD recording at up to 30p S-Log 2/3 and Hybrid Log Gamma recording In-body 5-axis image stabilization with 5-stop compensation NAUTICAM NA-A7RIII UNDERWATER HOUSING A professional housing befitting of a top-of-the-line camera, the NA-A7RIII underwater housing provides fingertip access to all key camera controls in a rugged and reliable aluminum underwater housing. Ergonomic camera control access is one of the defining strengths of a Nauticam housing, and the NA-7RIII continues this tradition. Essential camera parameter changes are made from the handles, without awkward reaches. The NA-A7RIII housing inherits the core design elements from the Nauticam pro DSLR range, and bundles them in a more compact package. A patented port locking lever allows lens changes to be made in seconds. Opening the housing for quick battery and media changes is fast and easy with the locking housing latches. All aspects of the system are a seamless extension of the camera. The NA-A7RIII is equipped with two M16 and one M14 bulkhead. This allows for the addition of a variety of bulkhead accessories such as a Vacuum Valve, electronic flash triggering bulkhead, and even HDMI Bulkheads for video. With "clean" 4K 4:2:2 HDMI output, pairing the NA-A7RIII with an external recorder from Atomos will enhance the incredible video capabilities of this camera even more. 4K is created from oversampled 5K when recording in-camera to UHS-II cards giving extremely high quality internal recording as well. Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-A7RIII as standard equipment. With the addition of the optional M14 Vacuum Valve (NA25624) this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Both the Canon EOS R5C and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS RC5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the Port Chart. Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5C where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The upper thumb lever activates the "AF-On" and the lower the "Q" buttons while the sub-lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch to change from using LCD to the EVF. Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles. An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and will interface with the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R Mount Adapter with Control Ring using the optional gear (NA19561). Flash Triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R5C as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Canon EOS R3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R3 CAMERA The Canon EOS R3 in all respects appears to be the mirrorless sibling of the 1DX Mark III DSLR, clearly aimed at fulfilling many of the same roles while offering some additional capabilities through the use of the electronic viewfinder and the larger RF lens mount.  The full-frame 24.1MP Stacked CMOS sensor, in addition to having incredible low-light performance, can also capture full-width 6K video in both Raw and compressed formats at up to 60fps.  The R3 is paired to Canon's industry leading Dual Pixel AF system with 100% frame coverage and the now revived Eye AF system. DUAL PIXEL AF II Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus system has long been a favorite of underwater users, especially when it comes to tacking subjects.  With the R3, the system adds an additional 'Animal' recognition mode which might make the system even more reliable at following moving subjects.  Frame coverage is 100% with 1053 zones to ensure accurate focus wherever the subject may be. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE The ability to increase a camera's ISO with little penalty is of critical importance to underwater shooters for both stills and video as shooting with higher F-stop values delivers sharper corners and higher shutter speeds mean less motion blur.  The higher video frame rates also benefit by allowing the shooter to maintain a 180º shutter while still maintaining adequate aperture values.  When using color correction filters, which can often remove more than a full stop of light, compensation via ISO is not as much of an issue for overall image quality.  Maintaining dynamic range, even at high ISO levels is also important for those shooting still images using natural light or in poor water conditions. ENHANCED CONTROLS The R3 features an additional control wheel located at the upper right rear of the camera which doubles as the mode control.  This wheel can be assigned a variety of functions such as ISO and is adjusted by a dedicated control wheel on the housing within easy reach of the right handle.   VIDEO CAPABILITIES The Canon R3 can capture 6K video at up to 60fps in either Raw or more compressed formats.  The 6K capture uses the full sensor width which means no loss in field-of-view.  12-bit 6K capture is possible in both uncompressed Canon Raw or compressed Raw light formats.  10-bit H.265 is also possible in both the HDR PQ and Canon Log3 gamma curves to maximize dynamic range for post processing while maintaining smaller file sizes than a Raw format.  It's also possible (when using supported cards) to simultaneously record 10-bit 4:2:2 DCI 4K 60p video.  For those looking for higher frame rates, 10-bit 4:2:2 compressed 4K/120fps can also be captured, downsampled from the full sensor width.  A natively sampled 4K S35 crop is also an option, allowing for more magnification or the use of APS-C lenses.  The R3 also outputs a clean 6K signal over HDMI via an HDMI Micro Type D connector.  Direct custom white balance in live view is also now possible, making a critical function for underwater video even easier. STABILIZATION The R3 features 5-axis In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) which can offer up to 8 stops of correction allowing for even smoother video and less camera movement related blur. LARGE ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER The R3's EVF is an OLED 5.76M-dot that features an OVF simulation mode which leverages. the large dynamic range of the OLED screen to reproduce a scene the way it would look through an optical viewfinder.  The lower dynamic range of electronic viewfinders has always made them more difficult to use underwater, especially in high contrast or backlit scenes. This function can easily be switched on and off by assigning it to a custom function button.  When using the Electronic Shutter, which has an X-Sync speed of 1/180sec, the EVF delivers true no-blackout shooting up to 30fps.   Example setup THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself.  Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies.  Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam engineers design each housing to insure that controls are placed where they are needed most and within easy reach of a natural hand position.  The NA-R3 features large knurled control dials for the main and sub-command dials as well as an additional shoulder dial for the customizable control wheel of the R3.  A fourth control wheel, near the front of the left handle can articulate the ring of the optional EF-to-RF lens adapter when using EF lenses.  There is a dual thumb lever on the right side for Record and AF-ON as well as single levers for M-Fn and Fn2.  A lever on the left side actuates the Pv control which can change between exposure preview and OVF simulation modes on the EVF.  An additional dual thumb lever on the left side is for Playback and Magnification. HDMI 2.0 AND MOUNTING POINTS The R3 can output clean 6K 60p over HDMI and the NA-R3 features a large bore M24 bulkhead to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to an external monitor or recorder.  Mounting the monitor or recorder or other accessories is even easier with 3x 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as an additional M10 mounting point atop the housing.  Check the resources sidebar for supported monitor/recorder housings and recommended accessories. FLASH TRIGGERING Flash triggering can be accomplished via the two included M14 electronic bulkheads (One is pre-installed in the M24 bulkhead via a removable M26-M14 adapter).  If using fiber-optic triggering, the built-in fiber optic bulkheads can be used with either the optional manual LED or TTL-flash triggers to provide the desired type of strobe power control. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-R3 is built around the N120 Canon RF-mount Port System which supports a wide array of Canon RF mount lenses with a selection of optical glass and acrylic ports.  With lens-removal controls for both EF and RF mount lenses, the NA-R3 can support both lens mount types without modification to the housing.  The EF-RF lens adapter is accommodated inside the housing which allows for the use of the N120 Canon EF-mount Port System without any additional extension rings.  When switching between an EF and RF lens, the camera must be removed to install or remove the adapter.  The Nauticam lineup of Premium Professional Optics can deliver unparalleled optical quality and expanded creative options. When used with the Canon RF 14-35 F/4 IL USM lens, the WACP-2 creates a stunning 140º field-of-view while maintaining an incredibly natural looking image and excellent corner sharpness.  The SMC-1 delivers 2.3x macro magnification to the RF 100mm macro lens while the SMC-2 delivers 3.3x. VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M16 Vacuum Valve (25625). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

Panasonic Lumix GH6 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The Panasonic GH5 brought high-end video specs to the micro four thirds platform, setting the bar for what was possible in this compact form-factor. Since the GH5, the open-source MFT actor has grown, with a massive variety of lenses available and camera specifications that rival or exceed some of their larger siblings. The GH6 follows closely in the GH5's footsteps, adding incredible new video features and even some notable still image enhancements. The GH5, GH5s, and GH5II have been well represented in the underwater imaging space and the arrival of the GH6 is sure to be met with serious enthusiasm given the spec sheet and early reviews. The Panasonic GH6 Camera The GH6 is built around a brand-new 25MP CMOS sensor paired to Panasonic's Venus processor. The new sensor, assisted by the addition of a CFExpress B card slot and a built-in cooling fan, can capture up to 5.7K video in the edit-friendly ProRes codec. While ProRes is currently limited to the 17:9 full 5.7K at 29.97p frame-rate recording mode, future firmware updates promised expanding this to all 4K and HD modes as well. While not in ProRes, the GH6 can record 10-bit 4:2:0 DCI or UHD 4K at up to 120fps using LongGOP H.264 compression. Dropping that frame rate to 60p allows for 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, All-i recording at a heavy 800Mbps bitrate. If 120fps is not slow enough, switching to HD opens up the possibility of 10-bit H.264 video at 240fps and even up to 300fps using Variable Frame Rate (VFR) mode which does not allow for audio recording. The menu for the various recording modes can be filtered to ease finding your desired mode and a personalized menu or 'My List' of selected modes can be created. When shooting at 60fps or lower, the GH6's Dynamic Range Boost mode can be activated. This mode uses both a low-gain and high-gain simultaneous readout from the sensor to create a final image with up to 13-stops of dynamic range. The GH6 also features Panasonic's full V-log profile which maximizes dynamic range for post-processing. The GH5 model only had a limited version of this profile. With a full-size HDMI port, the GH6 plays well with external monists and recorders, outputting a clean 4K/60p signal. Future firmware updates promise 4K/120P RAW output over HDMI. Not just a video camera, the GH6 also has notable improvements for still imaging. A new handheld mode for the high-resolution 100MP imaging mode expands the situations in which this can be used as previous versions required a tripod. For both stills and video, improvements in Autofocus and lower noise levels promise even better performance and image quality than was found in the GH5. Controls such as the prominent Record button remain similar aside from a button that gives direct access to the camera's audio settings and an additional custom function button on the front of the camera. The screen receives a refresh, as does the electronic viewfinder. THE NAUTICAM NA-GH6 UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-GH6 builds on the pioneering NA-GH5 which supports the GH5, GH5S and GH5II camera models. Designed around the N85 Port System, the range of lens and port combinations for the NA-GH6 is unparalleled. Image quality can be improved even further with Nauticam's lineup of water-contact optics. These lenses, such as the WWL-1 and WWL-1B are designed to increase field-of-view, maximize corner sharpness and close-focus capability, all while maintaining zoom-through functionality. Using our unique bayonet mount system, these ultra-wide lenses can be switched for the powerful CMC-1 and CMC-2 macro optics underwater. This system makes the NA-GH6 the perfect underwater imaging system for both stills and video allowing for unparalleled wide and macro performance on the same dive without compromising image quality. MISSION CONTROL Designed with our Mission Control philosophy, the controls of the NA-GH6 are placed where they are needed most with essential controls for exposure and focus located within easy reach of the handles. A dual thumb lever near the right handle provides easy access to the 'REC' and 'AF-ON' buttons. A dual-action lever that triggers the 'Fn1' and 'Fn2' buttons is easily reached forward of the right handle as well. HDMI VIDEO OUTPUT With an M24 bulkhead and an M10 threaded mount, the NA-GH6 is easily paired with an external monitor or recorder over HDMI 2.0 or 1.4. With future firmware updates promising RAW video output at up to 4K/120p over HDMI, the NA-GH6 will be ready to meet that Need. MANUAL OPTICAL STROBE TRIGGERING Rapid fire manual triggering is available with the 26309 Mini Flash Trigger.  The Panasonic DMW FL-70 Flash Unit is not compatible with the GH6.   VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The NA-GH6 underwater housing by Nauticam comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M14 Vacuum Valve (25624). Both the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS R5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5 where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. Integrated vacuum check and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R5 as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.
