Straight prism viewfinder compatible with RDX and MDX series housings. Can be attached to the housing by replacing the original viewfinder.
The magnification factor is 1.2x without affecting the field of view. Because the VF180 1.2x is a straight viewfinder, you can compose your images as if you were looking directly through the camera's viewfinder. Its 8 element 6 group optical lenses produce natural colours.
The viewfinder is filled with nitrogen gas to prevent condensation and fogging. The eyepiece protector ensures a clear view by not allowing light into the viewfinder.

A 45° prism viewfinder (magnification: 1.2x)
The optional VF45 prism viewfinder replaces the original viewfinder in your housing and provides excellent viewing. Covering the entire field of view, the VF45 increases magnification by 1.2x and enables accurate framing and focusing of subjects.
The eyepiece can be rotated 360° in 90° increments to achieve the ideal camera position in portrait or landscape mode. The 45-degree prism viewfinder is ideal for all conditions, but is particularly suited to macro photography when the camera is often positioned lower than the photographer.
The ergonomically designed eyepiece prevents unnecessary light from entering and allows clear and precise images through the viewfinder.

Easy assembly
Camera shoe for easy mounting and dismounting of the camera. Mounting the camera becomes child's play, as all you have to do is slide the camera shoe into the slot until it reaches the desired position. Almost no complicated positioning and alignment is required, so even beginners can mount a camera with ease.
Up to two external flashes can be mounted by connecting an SA8, SEA ARM 7 Compact or similar arm attached to the tripod socket on the underside of the housing.
With the optional Stay L II grip, you can hold the camera firmly with both hands, as is the case with conventional housings.

SEA&SEA MDX-D7100 Gehäuse: Kompatibilität mit Nikon D7200.
Die ab sofort verkauften MDX-D7100 Gehäuse sind sowohl mit Nikon D7100 als auch mit Nikon D7200 Kameras kompatibel. Bei MDX-D7100-Gehäusen mit den folgenden Seriennummern kann es jedoch erforderlich sein, die Moduswahl-Taste auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses geringfügig zu ändern. Ohne Änderung kann es schwierig sein, die Taste zu drücken und zu drehen. In diesem Fall wenden Sie sich bitte vor der Bestellung an uns.

Durch die Befestigung des VF180 (#46112) oder des VF45 Prismensucher (#46111) (Vergrößerungsverhältnis von 1,2x) am Gehäuse erhöht sich die Vergrößerung um 1,2x und das gesamte Sichtfeld ist gleichzeitig sichtbar. Empfohlen für Benutzer, die sich einer strikten Bildkomposition und Fokussierung verschrieben haben.
* Bei der Installation von VF45 1.2x am Gehäuse kann es zu Schwierigkeiten beim Zugriff auf die Löschknopf-Funktion kommen. Um dieses Problem zu vermeiden, schlägt der Hersteller vor, stattdessen VF180 1.2x zu verwenden.

AF-Bereiche und Fokuspunkte können durch Drücken des Wahlschalters geändert werden. Die Mehrfachwahlschalter-Steuerung ist so angeordnet, dass sie mit der Hand am Griff zugänglich ist.
Der in der Kamera eingebaute Blitz kann vom Gehäuse aus aktiviert und deaktiviert werden. (Wenn die zusätzliche Lichtschutzplatte befestigt ist, kann diese Funktion nicht verwendet werden).
