Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K Underwater Housing by Nauticam
With the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Blackmagic is giving users affordable 4K Raw video. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K delivers true DCI 4K capture at 60fps recorded in either 12-bit Blackmagic raw format or a variety of 10-bit ProRes flavors. Video can be recorded internally to SD or CFast 2.0 cards or via USB-C to a compact SSD. The MicroFourThirds mount means a large selection of lenses. The Nauticam NA-BMPCCII goes beyond just housing the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K by also supporting additional batteries, a portable SSD and the ability to use external monitors or Recorders. THE BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA 4K Blackmagic has built its reputation on defying convention and over-delivering specifications at a reasonable price point. This has perhaps never been truer than with the new Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Sporting a spec sheet that compares to cameras costing thousands of dollars more, the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K provides true DCI 4K @ 60fps from its MFT sensor with an impressive 13 stops of dynamic range. 1080 HD can be recorded up to 120fps in windowed format. Particularly impressive; the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K can record this resolution internally to UHSII V90 SD or CFast 2.0 cards in either 10-Bit ProRes or 12-Bit Raw formats. This significant improvement in workflow for professionals and enthusiasts can be taken even further with the world’s first USB-C output to compact SSD recording provided by any manufacturer. Not only does this allow up to 2TB of storage for uninterrupted shooting, it provides immediate access to clips for editing. No additional downloads or transcoding! Underwater shooters will appreciate the new dual native ISO allowing superior lowlight/low noise performance as well the large, bright five inch touchscreen monitor with extensive tools that may eliminate the need for an external monitor in many applications. The Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K may well prove to be the ultimate run-and-gun camera whether as a primary rig or the “small” B camera that goes where others won’t. Noteworthy Specifications: Full size HDMI with clean 10-Bit Output 3D LUT compatible – whether just for monitoring or baked into the footage as well 4 built in mics and mini-XLR audio input with 48V phantom power Standard Canon LP-E6 Batteries 4th Generation Black Magic Color Science THE NA-BMPCCII UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-BMPCCII is not just an update of the original NA-BMPCC, it is a ground up redesign for the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K designed to take full advantage of the great new features of this cinema camera. MISSION CONTROL Nauticam's design philosophy is driven by allowing immediate access to all essential controls within easy reach of the handles, allowing the shooter to make adjustments without having to take their eyes off the screen. Within reach of the right handle are the trigger as well as a control dial for iris, a lever to capture still images as well as a double thumb lever for the white balance and autofocus. A recessed double thumb lever, situated between the trigger and the rear thumb lever accesses the ISO and Shutter Angle (Shutter Speed). Three assignable buttons are atop the housing near the right handle as well as three buttons on the right rear for HFR, Auto-Iris, Zoom and Menu. A thumb lever on the left side activates Review. The NA-BMPCCII features DSLR style ergonomic handles with stainless steel stiffening brackets that are compatible with the optional handle strap (PN 28130). The rear monitor window is compatible with the Monitor Shade for the NA-502 Housing (PN 17916) which attaches via four screws. The underside of the housing has mounting points for use with the Tripod Mounting Ball Set (PN 25218) removing the use for a bulky tripod plate. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-BMPCCII is built around the N85 Port System which offers a variety of port configurations for a large selection of lenses. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a four thirds lens mount making it compatible with the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 II R lens that when paired with the WWL-1 provides ultra-sharp full-zoom-through wide-angle performance. The WWL-1, when used with the bayonet mount system can be exchanged underwater for the optional CMC-1 or CMC-2 to allow for the capturing of up to 130º wide-angle, macro and super-macro all on the same dive. HDMI 2.0 READY The housing features several bulkheads including the large-bore M28 which supports the use of an HDMI 2.0 recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V through the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V Housing (PN 17922). CUSTOM BATTERY PACK AND SSD SUPPORT To allow for increased run-time, the NA-BMPCCII comes with a custom battery cage that holds 4 x 18650 Lithium Batteries (batteries not included). This battery cage sits securely beneath the camera inside the housing and connects directly to the camera's power supply input. With 4x3400 mAh batteries, the run-time of the system can exceed 3 hours. Atop the camera's position inside the housing is a slot that holds a compact T5 SSD which connects to the camera via USB-C. Run Times Canon LP-E6 internal battery: 40min 4 x 16850 Battery: up to 160min Total Run Time: 3hrs 20min VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-BMPCCII as standard equipment. With the pre-installed vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Fujifilm X-T3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
FUJIFILM X-T3 The Fujifilm X-T3 features an APS-C CMOS 4 X-Trans 26.1MP Sensor. The X-T3 is powered by an upgraded X Processor 4 that is 3x faster and allows for 1.5x faster sensor readout than the X-T3. The base ISO has been lowered from 200 to 160. Oversampled DCI or UHD 4K (using full sensor width) is possible at 30p whereas 60p can be recorded with a minor 1.18x crop. The 60p footage can be captured as 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 at 200 Mbps and recorded internally. This increases to 4:2:2 when output over HDMI. The X-T3 also features F-Log capture to maximize dynamic range, protecting highlights and shadows for editing. The X-T3 features a Natural Liveview mode when recording F-log that more closely resembles a standard monitoring LUT. Zebra warnings and focus peaking overlays as well as magnification during shooting are all improvements that video shooters will appreciate. Three custom white balance slots are available in addition to the 7 presets. The electronic viewfinder of the X-T3 is vastly improved with 3.69M dots as compared to the 2.36M dots of the X-T2. Battery life has also been improved. The X-T3 can achieve 20fps continuous shooting with Autofocus and this increases to 30fps when shooting from a 1.25x crop area. A Sport Finder mode will show this cropped area inside the EVF. Phase-detection autofocus has been increased to 98% of the sensor area. The X-T3 also features a fast 1/250 X-sync speed. Key Camera Specifications 26MP BSI 'X-Trans CMOS 4' sensor 425-point hybrid AF system 20 fps shooting with AF (11 fps with mechanical shutter) 3.69M-dot electronic viewfinder 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 internal video capture (4:2:2 over HDMI) UHD/DCI 4K/60p from 1.18x crop region UHD/DCI 4K/30p using full width of sensor Internal F-Log capture Dual UHS-II SD card slots USB C-type connector can be used for charging battery THE NAUTICAM NA-XT3 UNDERWATER HOUSING Nauticam has supported X-T1 and X-T2 cameras and continues to create innovative and ultra-functional housings for this line with the NA-XT3. More than just an updated badge, the NA-XT3 is a complete redesign of the series. With a form factor more closely resembling the NA-A9 for Sony's A9 mirrorless camera, the NA-XT3 features DSLR-style housing and port lock mechanisms as well as integrated ergonomic handles. An optional hand strap (NA28130) can be added to the handles. The housing is designed with our Mission Control concept of placing the most important camera controls as close to the handles as possible to facilitate effortless and quick camera operation to ensure you don't miss the shot. The NA-XT3 features thumb levers near both handles, with the left thumb lever actuating the playback function and the right thumb lever the AF-L control. The housing includes two M14 and one M24 bulkhead openings and an M5 threaded hole on top (underneath the cold shoe) for an additional ball mount. The NA-XT3 uses the N100 Port System shared with the Fujifilm XH1 system. A selection of port options are available for a variety of lenses. VIDEO RECORDING FEATURES The impressive video specs of the X-T3 prompted the addition of some video-centric features to the NA-XT3. The base of the housing can accept Nauticam's Mounting Ball Set for Tripod (PN 25218), the same part as for the NA-A9. As the X-T3 can output DCI/UHD 4K at 60p with 4:2:2 quality over HDMI, a new M24 bulkhead has been incorporated into the housing to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V housing (HDMI 2.0) for Atomos Ninja V 5” 4Kp60 4:4:2 10-bit Recorder/Monitor/Player (17922). Video shooting can decrease battery life so the NA-XT3 is compatible with an optional 2500 mAh USB-C Battery Pack (NA36335) that sits below the camera tray inside the housing. FLASH TRIGGERING Reliable automatic flash exposure is available with the NA-XT3 and a variety of optically fired flashes, precisely reproducing the camera’s included EF-X8 flash at a proportionally greater intensity. This system yields accurate automatic TTL flash performance – even in manual exposure mode – with no electrical sync cables to flood! The NA-XT3 is also compatible with the Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger for Panasonic/Fujifilm (PN 26305). The Flash Trigger allows for rapid fire manual flash firing via fiber optic, with no camera battery drain. The NA-XT3 comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Nauticam Universal fiber optic cable system (NA26216) for Inon, Sea&Sea strobes, provide exceptional light transmission for accurate TTL performance. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is pre-installed in the NA-XT3 as standard equipment. Combined with an optional M14 Vacuum Valve II (NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant updates throughout the dive as to watertight integrity of the housing via a multi-color LED on the rear of the housing.Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Sony A7 II/A7RII Underwater Housing (No electrical bulkhead) by Nauticam
Nauticam is pleased to announce the NA-A7II, the newest entry in its mid-range series of fine underwater camera housings. The NA-A7II is an incremental improvement over the outstanding NA-A7 housing, and is the ultimate underwater machine for full frame mirrorless image making. The Sony A7 II Camera The new Sony A7II (officially called Sony Alpha 7 II) follows hot on the heals of the amazing A7, adding some significant improvments, including a 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization. The A7II, with its 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor, is the ultimate all-around full frame mirrorless camera to date. Focus is improved with a Hybrid AF system utilizing on-sensor phase-detect points. From a design perspective, other improvements in this model include more rugged build quality, a beefier grip, more and better laid out custom buttons, and a more ergonomically placed shutter release button. Other features include a 3-inch tilting LCD, XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, Multi-interface (hot) shoe, Wi-Fi with NFC, and 1080/60p video recording - now with XAVC S and a flat 'S-Log2' picture profile. The A7II features the same highly regarded full-frame 24MP CMOS sensor that was found on the original A7 and it continues to impress. The A7II uses a hybrid autofocus system, which has 25 contrast detect and 117 phase detect points spread across its sensor. Sony engineers claim that autofocus performance has improved by 30% and tracking by 50% compared to the A7. Autofocus and now auto exposure can be used while tracking a moving subject during burst shooting (at 5 fps). Ergonomically, the A7II is improved over the A7, and the difference is obvious when picking up the camera. It feels more substantial in the hand, and the shutter button in particular is more comfortable. The grip is larger and significantly more substantial which keeps the hand in a more relaxed position when gripping the camera. The A7II uses more magnesium alloy and less plastic than the A7; allowing the overall build quality to seem more solid with only a minor increase in weight Like previous models, the A7II supports WiFi, NFC, and a number of apps making sharing very easy, while opening up the camera's capabilities. Underwater Tribe | NA-A7II from Nauticam on Vimeo. The NA-A7II Underwater Housing by Nauticma The NA-A7II looks quite similar to the NA-A7, and the housings are approximately the same dimensions. As those photographers who have experienced the NA-A7 housing have discovered, that housing is a stunning blend of aesthetics, ergonomics and functionality and the A7II housing only reinforces this mission. The NA-A7II ships with built-in, yet adjustable handles, featuring Nauticams famous contoured rubberized grip. The AF/MF/AEL button is given special treatment on the right side of the housing with a direct access lever immediately reachable by the right thumb. This allows the button to be programmed for AF-ON meaning thumb focus fans can easily have perfect functionality. The shutter release can be accessed at the same time, offering extremely quick focus-to-shoot finger action. Like many Nauticam housings, the play button is brought up to the left thumb, and the three command dials (think shutter speed, aperture and exposure compensation) can be adjusted quickly with minimal reach. The ISO button is within short reach of the right thumb, important for video shooters. Speaking of video, the record button is on the top right, thus eliminating camera shake during video start/stop. The Function Menu button opens up common camera settings to a quick menu, and this button is a short reach with the right thumb. The programmable C3 button is a very easy reach and can be programmed for any of several functions. The housing features a switch to change between the EVF and the LCD providing rapid and secure transition between viewing modes, and supports Nauticam's well renowned viewfinders. Installing a lens with a gear attached is made easy by the new pull-out zoom/focus dial. A Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger made specifically for Sony is an available option, allowing the camera to shoot rapid fire with flood free optical cables. The housing includes an M16 bulkhead port for optional HDMI out, Nikonos style sync cable or other external accessory. The NA-A7II accommodates for the larger than expected grip of the camera. Rather than compromise on image quality, the Nauticam designers chose to create ports than take into account this difference, hence a separate entry in the port chart for this housing. Lens Matters The original A7 and A7R cameras from Sony sparked a huge interest in going full frame for mirrorless. For the underwater photographer, this enthusiasm was quickly diminished by the fairly limited lens selection. Underwater image makers rely on very wide angle lenses and macro lenses, and they were nowhere to be found. However, the recently released 16-35mm is a game changer. This is a lens from the Sony Zeiss partnership, quaintly dubbed the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS. It's a terrific rectilinear wide angle zoom that focuses close and demonstrates very good sharpness all around with medium to large sized dome ports. The Nauticam 180mm dome is an ideal choice for this lens. For macro lovers, Sony two days ago announced a 90mm macro beauty (Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS), and this lens will be supported as soon as possible after it is shipped (slated for July). Also just announced is a new 28mm f/2 lens with a fisheye adapter, similar to what Sony did with the fisheye and wide angle adapter on the 16mm lens for the NEX series. This is an appealing way to get fisheye, as it allows multiple configurations with a single lens. Look for more info about Nauticam support for this lens when it ships (slated for May). Owners of Canon full frame lenses like the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, or the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lenses will apreciate the ability to use these fine optics with the A7 series. This is made possible with a Metabones adapter (Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III or Mark IV)). These lenses work well on the A7 series, providing both aperture and autofocus control from the camera. Speaking of Lenses Nikonos "water contact" lenses are the stuff of legend, but too many of them are sitting in a box in a closet. Time to dust them off! The full frame A7II is a great way to bring those lenses back to action. With the full frame sensor, this Sea&Sea 12mm or the famous Nikonos 15mm behave like they were intended to. Viewfinder Options The NA-A7II ships with a standard 0.66x viewfinder. This standard optical glass viewfinder is travel friendly and suitable for image makers that care to use the LCD for most framing. Many photographers prefer the ease of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopter to take advantage of the excellent EVF in this camera. Nauticam produces a straight 180_ enlarging viewfinder and a 45_ angled enlarging viewfinder to enhance the ease of close quarters work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders have high quality optics, and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external dioptric adjustment allows personal adjustment to a sharp-as-a-tack standard underwater and viewfinder changes can be executed in less than 30 seconds without using tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been more accessible. NA-A7II Feature Checklist Unsurpassed build quality, designed by an award winning engineering team, and produced utilizing the most modern manufacturing technology available Ergonomically placed controls with size, shape, and color differentiation Access to all key camera controls All controls clearly labeled Patented two stage shutter release system, allowing precise feel over half press and full press Patented Port Locking System Patent pending Multi Controller pad Lens release button Easy to operate locking housing latches Rubberized ergonomic grips on adjustable handles Laser-cut steel handle brackets Quick release camera mounting plate Optical strobe connectors for fiber optic flash triggering Mini Flash Trigger M16 accessory hole for electrical bulkhead, HDMI or hydrophone installation M14 accessory hole for vacuum valve installation Integrated vacuum monitoring and leak detection circuit (valve optional) Dual 1" (25mm) strobe mounting balls included as standard equipment 1/4-20 tripod mounting holes Dual M5/M10 threaded accessory mounting points 100m Depth Rating Integrated Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-A7II as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe to dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The housing ships with a rear bulkhead port specifically for installing optional vacuum valves, leaving the other bulkhead port available for HDMI, sync cables and other accessories.

Panasonic Lumix S1H Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The evolution of the mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera has been happening at a fever pitch over the last few years with Panasonic leading the field of introducing more video-driven improvements.  With the LUMIX DC-S1H, Panasonic is taking its full-frame mirrorless S1 platform and giving it supercharged cinema-video specs.  The S1H is the first full-frame mirrorless camera to offer 6K (3:2) 24p internal recording with 14+ stops of dynamic range.  The Nauticam NA-S1H, with its M28 bulkhead supporting HDMI 2.0 output, can be combined with the Atomos Ninja V and Shogun Inferno external monitors/recorders to offer even more recording and monitoring Options. THE PANASONIC LUMIX DC-S1H CAMERA The Panasonic S1 brought many of the features that made the GH series of micro-four-thirds cameras popular with underwater image-makers to a full-frame sensor.  With the S1H, Panasonic has taken some of it's VariCam cinema-tech and added it to already strong video capabilities of the S1 platform.  The most notable is the ability to record 6K in a 3:2 aspect ratio at 24p (or 5.9K, 30p at 16:9) at a reported 14+ stops of dynamic range.  If 60p is important, the S1H will also capture C4K/UHD4K at 60p in 4:2:2 10-bit internally.   THE NAUTICAM NA-S1H UNDERWATER HOUSING As the S1H is an evolution of the mirrorless camera, the NA-S1H is the progression of Nauticam's innovative approach to housing design and construction.  As the capabilities of the cameras housed within increases, so must the housing itself.  The NA-S1H is a perfect compliment to the S1H camera and is designed to take full advantage of the S1H's advanced video capabilities.   EF AND L LENS SUPPORT Sigma's MC-21 EF to L adapter allows for the use of Sigma EF-mount lenses to be used with the S1H camera. The NA-S1H Housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter but to allow for the use of the existing focus and zoom gears for Canon EF-mount Sigma lenses for the N120 Canon System along with the existing Canon N120 extension ring and port combinations for those lenses.  As native L-mount lenses become available, those best suited to underwater use will be added to the system. MISSION CONTROL The NA-S1H follows Nauticam's Mission Control design philosophy that emphasizes placing the control where it is needed most, regardless of where it may be on the camera itself.  This has led to housings where the majority of essential controls can be easily reached from the ergonomic handles.  The use of thumb-levers allows for the manipulation of many controls without having to remove your hand from the handle which leads to more time spent focusing on the shot and less time looking for a control. The NA-S1H features dual thumb levers on both the right and left rear of the housing.  The left side activates Playback and DISP buttons while the right controls AF-ON and REC.  An inner lever on each side adds additional functionality with ISO for the front right and LVF on the left rear.  A multi-position switch on the rear of the housing accesses C/M/AF and is located next to the multi-directional pad. HDMI 2.0 The NA-S1H features the large-bore M28 bulkhead that supports HDMI 2.0 video output connections to external recorders/monitors such as the Atomos Ninja V and Shogun Inferno with the optional Nauticam HDMI 2.0 cables and monitor housings.  An HDMI 1.4 option is also available for those monitor housings that do not feature the M28 bulkhead.

Sony A7 II/A7IIR Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The NA-A7II looks very similar to the NA-A7 and the housings have about the same dimensions. Nevertheless, this is an underwater housing specially tuned for the Sony alpha 7 Mark II. The NA-A7II comes with integrated adjustable grips that feature Nauticam's famous rubberized grip. The AF/MF/AEL button has been specially equipped on the right side of the grip with a direct access lever that can be reached instantly with the right thumb. This allows the button to be programmed for AF-ON, which means that "thumb focus" fans have perfect functionality. The output can be operated at the same time, allowing simultaneous focusing and shooting. As with many Nauticam housings, the playback button is placed on the left thumb, and the three adjustment ratios (shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation) can be set quickly and with minimal reach. The ISO button is located immediately near the right thumb, important for videographers. The record button is located in the upper right, preventing shake when starting/stopping video. Underwater Tribe | NA-A7II from Nauticam on Vimeo. The function menu button öopens the general camera settings for a quick menu, and this button is not far away with the right thumb. The programmable C3 button is very accessible and can be programmed for one of several functions. The housing features a switch to toggle between the electronic viewfinder and LCD, allowing quick and safe switching between viewing modes, and supports Nauticam's familiar magnifying viewfinders. A Nauticam mini flash output designed specifically for Sony is an available option that enables the camera to shoot quickly with flood-proof optical cables. The housing includes an M16 connector for an optional HDMI output, Nikonos sync cable, or other external accessory. The NA-A7II accommodates the camera's unexpectedly large grip. Rather than compromise on image quality, Nauticam designers chose to create ports to account for this difference, hence a separate entry in the port table for this housing. High-quality professional look Sony's original A7 and A7R cameras sparked a lot of interest in using full-frame for mirrorless cameras. For the underwater photographer, this enthusiasm quickly waned due to the relatively limited lens selection. Underwater photographers rely on very wide angle lenses and macro lenses, and these were nowhere to be found. This changed spätestens with the release of a 16-35mm wide-angle zoom. This is a lens from the Sony Zeiss partnership, designated the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS. It's a terrific straight wide-angle zoom that focuses close and offers very good all-around sharpness with medium to large dome ports. Nauticam's 180mm dome is the ideal choice for this lens. For macro lovers, Sony has launched a 90mm macro lens (Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS). Also available now is a 28mm f/2 lens with fisheye adapter, äsimilar to what Sony did with the fisheye and wide-angle adapter on the 16mm lens for the NEX series. This is an attractive option for fisheye lenses, as it allows for multiple configurations with a single lens. Owners of Canon full-frame lenses such as the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM or EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM will appreciate the versatility of their lenses with the A7 series. This is made possible by a Metabones adapter (Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III or Mark IV)). These lenses are well suited for the A7 series and allow both aperture and autofocus control via the camera. Finder options Precision requires foresight: a camera like the Sony A7 II / A7RII requires perfect focus for optimal results. Fortunately, Nauticam has developed the most user-friendly interchangeable viewfinders on the market. The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel friendly, but many photographers prefer the convenience of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopters. Nauticam produces a "straight" 180º magnifying viewfinder and a 45º angled magnifying viewfinder to facilitate the tight-space work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders feature high-quality optics and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external diopter adjustment allows for personalized, pin-sharp adjustment underwater. Viewfinder changes can be performed in less than 30 seconds without tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been so accessible.  Vacuum inspection and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum prüf and leak detection system is available as standard with NA-A7II. Combined with an optional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the watertight and submersible condition of the housing. The operator can see at a glance the watertight and submersible condition of the walker. A simple coded LED lighting system indicates to the user if the vacuum is stable or if the walker is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given when water enters.

Sony A9 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Nikon D780 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The Nikon D780 brings many of the technological advancements in autofocus, live-view shooting and video performance from the Z series mirrorless cameras to a full-frame DSLR.  A true hybrid shooter, the D780 employs a full-frame BSI 24.5MP sensor to create still images with incredible detail and dynamic range as well as to produce UHD 4K video from the full sensor width.  Autofocus and metering enhancements as well as video output over HDMI options allow the D780 to excel in both video and still applications. THE NIKON D780 DSLR CAMERA While the Nikon D850 dominates the high-megapixel end of the Nikon DSLR lineup and the D5 delivers unparalleled dynamic range and low-light capability the D780 is a blend of both with a splash of Z-series mirrorless hybrid-shooting capability thrown in.  The D780 is built around a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor powered by the newest EXPEED 6 image processor.  The lower pixel density, as compared to its D850 sibling, means increased low-light sensitivity and higher dynamic range.  Being a Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor also brings greater color resolution capability.  The D780 also borrows heavily from Nikon's Z-series mirrorless cameras to refine its live-view and video shooting experiences.  Overall, the D780 is a high-powered hybrid shooter for those not looking to move into the mirrorless space, yet wanting more of the flexibility these systems offer.   Key Camera Specs 24.5MP BSI CMOS Sensor Dual Gain ISO System ISO Range of 100-51,200 (expandable to 204,800) UHD 4K 30p Video 10-bit UHD 4K output over HDMI with N-Log or HLG On-sensor 273-point AF System for Live View and Video Shooting The D780 has an even greater ISO range than the D850 and features a dual-gain readout system.  The dual-gain configuration allows the D780 to maximize dynamic range at lower ISO values while prioritizing noise-reduction at higher ISO values.  This capability is driven by the new EXPEED 6 processor, allowing faster pixel readout speed.  This increased speed also translated to improved video performance with the ability to record UHD 4K video at up to 30p using the full sensor width.   Autofocus on the D780 has received advancements over the D750, not only in still image capture via the optical viewfinder but also in live-view and video capture modes.  The D780 uses the on-sensor phase-detection system seen on Nikon's Z-series mirrorless cameras which employs 273 AF-points that cover  ~90% of the frame to achieve fast and accurate autofocus during live-view shooting at up to -6EV (in Low-Light mode, or -4 in standard mode).  This live-view autofocus system also carries over to video mode, supercharging the D780's video capabilities.  The autofocus speed while video/live-view shooting can also be tuned using an 11-point scale and an AF-F mode allows the autofocus to function continuously without a half-press of the shutter button, similar to AF-C in video mode. The D780 can also output 10-bit UHD 4K at 30p over HDMI.  The output signal can take advantage of two different gamma curves, N-Log, which maximizes dynamic range for post-processing or the more viewer-ready HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma).  Combined with an external recorder, this capability allows maximum potential extraction from the D780's sensor.  Internal recording is UHD 4K at up to 30p.  Users can decide whether to carry over still shooting settings to video or set them independently.  If image stabilization is required, the D780 can employ electronic image stabilization using a slight 1.1x crop. THE NAUTICAM NA-D780 UNDERWATER HOUSING The NA-D780 underwater housing follows suit with Nauticam's drive for innovation.  Every new housing design is carefully crafted based on feedback from Nauticam users around the globe. Feedback gained from the knowledge and experience of Nauticam owners results in every new housing design being better than the last. Nauticam engineers are obsessed with functionality and this is evident in the location of essential controls. Regardless of where the control is located on the camera, the Nauticam housing puts them where you need them to be underwater. Sony A9II/A7RIV Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Sony has been at the forefront of the mirrorless evolution, offering cameras with specifications that are truly geared towards meeting the disparate needs of today's image makers while maintaining a similar, if not almost identical form factor. With the a7R IV, Sony introduced the highest resolution full frame mirrorless camera to date and with the a9 II it took speed image quality to another level. Luckily, for those wishing to take their cameras underwater, the a7R IV and the a9 II have extremely similar body size and control placement. For this reason, Nauticam is offering the NA-a2020 housing that offer full support for both cameras in the same housing without modification. THE SONY A7R IV AND SONY A9 II CAMERAS While both the a7R IV and the a9 II feature the same size sensor and body, they are two very different cameras. With the NA-a2020 Underwater Housing, you now can choose the right camera for the job while using the same housing, lenses and ports. Both cameras share 5-axis in-body stabilization (IBIS) providing up to 5.5 stops of stabilization and the ability to record 4K video either from the full sensor width or a Super35 crop at up to 30p to dual UHS-II SD card slots. Both cameras are capable of clean HDMI video output up to UHD 4K 4:2:2 8-bit at up to 25p. THE SONY A7R IV CAMERA The Sony a7R IV is the company's fourth generation, high-resolution full-frame mirrorless camera. The 61.0-megapixel full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor combined with BIONZ X imaging engine delivers unprecedented resolution, fine gradation, and low noise. Relative to previous generations, it promises more robust build quality, refined controls, the company's latest autofocus. The a7R IV also received a serious upgrade from a7R III to its electronic viewfinder (EVF) in a 1.6x bump in resolution to an impressive 5.76-million-dots of UXGA OLED display, the highest of any mirrorless full-frame camera. Sony Alpha a7R IV Key Specifications 61MP BSI CMOS full-frame sensor Fast Hybrid AF with tracking 10 fps burst shooting (12-bit Raw mode) with AF Tracking 5.76M dot OLED viewfinder 4K video from full sensor width (sub-sampled) or oversampled from Super35 crop S-Log 2, S-Log 3 and 'HLG' video modes (8-bit only) THE SONY A9 II CAMERA The a9 II is the flagship full-frame mirrorless camera in Sony's lineup and features a 24.2MP Exmor RS BSI CMOS sensor. The original a9 set the bar for high speed shooting with an incredible 20fps without EVF blackout, a trait passed on to the a9 II. It's 693 phase-detection pints cover over 93% of the sensor's surface which, combined with the BIONZ X processor leads to fast and accurate autofocus, even while tracking. Taking advantage of the small form factor of the C70, the Nauticam NA-C70 is ultra-portable yet offers full access to the camera's critical functions.  Regardless of where a button or control dial may lie on the camera body, Nauticam engineers obsess over making sure that access to that control on the housing be intuitively placed for ease of use to insure no shot is missed while searching for a button or dial.  To take this a step further, Nauticam has also integrated the Nauticam to Canon SDK Control Board in the rear door of the housing which places a variety of electronic control functions at your finger tips.  This connects to the camera through pogo pins between the rear housing door and the front camera tray eliminating the risk of straining any cables while opening the housing door for media or battery changes.   The Canon C70 present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adaptor in addition to the native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-C70 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to EOS R mount adaptors can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS C70 inside the housing with the EF to EOS R adaptor and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 EF-Mount housing.  Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple.  In addition to the standard EF to EOS R adaptors, there is also support for the Canon EF to EOS R 0.71x Mount Adaptor through an optional 16702 NA-C70 Camera Tray.   The housing will accommodate the Canon BP-A30 and larger BP-A60 batteries, providing plenty of run time. As with previous Cinema System housings, the Nauticam NA-C70 features large control knobs for focus and zoom which also feature marking disks that can be removed and marked with the desired lens position or focus information. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-C70 as standard equipment.  With the optional 25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Optical performance is just as necessary as camera performance and this becomes even more critical given the challenges of filming underwater. The Nauticam NA-C70 uses the same N120 Port System as the previous N120 cinema housings which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading or looking to add an additional camera to their lineup.  While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of EF and RF mount lenses, the real power can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics. This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations. The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6. The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Canon 100mm F2.8L macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 100mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier. As the cameras have evolved, so have the Nauticam housings. The NA-a1 underwater housing provides fingertip access to all key camera controls in a rugged and reliable aluminum underwater housing. Ergonomic camera control access is one of the defining strengths of a Nauticam housing, and the NA-a1 continues this tradition. Integrated DSLR-housing styled handles with ergonomic rubberized grips and stainless steel stiffening brackets add stability and accessory mounting points. The NA-a1 also features dual rear thumb-levers that are easily reached from the handle that access three of the most-used controls on the rear of the camera. The right lever actuates the AF-ON and RECORD buttons while the left lever is mapped to the PLAY button. Atop the housing on the left side are controls in the form of a MODE dial and FOCUS mode lever. The C1, C2 buttons as well as the EV compensation dial also have direct access from the top of the housing. The C3, which is typically assigned to control switching between the EVF and the LCD screen is easily reachable on the rear of the housing from the left handle. ACCESSORY PORTS The NA-a1 has both an M24 port at the front of the housing for both HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity (see sidebar for recommendations) as well as an M14 at the rear for the optional Vacuum Valve (25624). The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system. This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Nauticam's wide range of ports and in-house corrective optics are the perfect compliment to the NA-a1's inherent flexibility. Built around the N100 Port System, the NA-a1 supports a wide variety of Sony FE mount lenses, as well as EF mount lenses via adapters. In addition, there are several options available to use the groundbreaking WACP and WACP-2 wide-angle corrective lenses as well as the more compact and in-water removable WWL-1B. For example, With the Sony SEL1635GM FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM, the WACP 2 brings the original 105º field-of-view to an impressive 128º with sharper corners, an ~0" minimum focus distance and a more natural looking image than would be provided by a standard glass dome port. FLASH TRIGGERING Both fiber-optic and electrical strobe triggering options are available. The Nauticam Universal Fiber Optical cables attach to the built-in bulkheads atop the housing and feature modular connections for both Sea&Sea-style bushings and INON threaded connections. Triggering is achieved using the optional Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger for Sony (26302) which uses LEDs powered by an on-board coin-cell battery to generate a manual signal that is transmitter via the optical cables to compatible strobes.

An additional lever on the rear of the NA-S5II allows for focus mode switching between C/S/MF, while a multi-directional pad gives the ability to navigate the menu or move the focus points. EF and L Lens Support Sigma's MC-21 EF to L adapter allows for the use of Canon and Sigma EF-mount lenses to be used with the S5II/X camera. The NA-S5II Housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter but to allow for the use of the existing focus and zoom gears for Canon EF-mount lenses for the N120 Canon System along with the existing Canon N120 extension ring and port combinations for those lenses.  As more native L-mount lenses become available, those best suited to underwater use will be added to the system.  For full compatibility, you can refer to the port chart found here.   Flash Triggering For rapid-fire manual flash triggering, the NA-S5II is compatible with the Mini Flash Trigger (NA26305) which uses small LEDs to trigger external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cables (NA26216). The Panasonic DMW-FL70 flash is not supported within the housing. Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-S5II as standard equipment. Combined with an optional accessory M14 vacuum valve (NA25624) this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.
