45° viewfinder for Nauticam SLR housing
Nauticam's improved 45°angle viewfinder is the perfect complement to your housing, providing a bright, clear and undistorted 1:1 image of the camera's viewfinder, as well as a 45°viewing angle. The viewfinder can be rotated to any angle, which is important when shooting in a vertical orientation. The 45º viewfinder also provides more clearance for your regulator, allowing for a more comfortable viewing position. Introducing the NAUTICAM 45° VIEWFINDER . Long- or short-sightedness? The viewfinder features an external knob for vision compensation; easy diopter adjustment can now be made underwater without disassembling the viewfinder . Proven design The body is made of anodised aluminium and all lens elements and prisms in the viewfinder are precision ground and multi-layer coated to ensure optimum light transmission and no distortion . INSTALLING THE SEARCHER . With Nauticam housings, it is easy to switch between the standard 0.66x and Enhanced 45° viewfinder, in most cases without tools or adapters. With optional adapter kits, it can also be adapted to the housings of Ikelite, Aquatica, Sea & Sea and Nexus. Note: Because some newer camera models have higher magnifications and a decreasing eye point, there may be a slight reduction in view from edge to edge when using a Nauticam magnification viewfinder. The extent varies, but the benefits of the magnification viewfinder remain.

Canon EOS R Underwater Housing by Nauticam
With the Canon EOS R, underwater photographers not only get a full-frame mirrorless camera with Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus and the ability to use the EF-S range with an adapter, but also the new RF mount, which enables new lenses with groundbreaking features. The EOS R features a 30.3 MP full-frame CMOS sensor with the new RF lens mount and a 3.7-million-dot electronic viewfinder. The Canon EOS R Camera The Canon EOS R is remarkable not only because it is Canon's first full-frame mirrorless camera, but also because of the many additional features available with the introduction of the RF lens mount. The RF lens mount has the same large diameter of 54mm, but the ability to use larger rear lens elements that are closer to the sensor increases the sharpness in the corners and at the outer edge. The lenses can also be more compact than lenses with the same coverage area in the EF mount. The addition of 4 more lens communication pins to a total of 12 pins expands the functionality of the lenses. RF lenses feature a customizable control ring that will also be available on one of the two EF mount lens adapters and can be assigned to control various exposure settings. On the RF lenses, manual focus is now controlled electronically, which allows the direction of rotation of the lens' manual focus ring to be changed. The EOS R is also able to use the wide range of EF-mount lenses üvia three optional adapters: a simple EF-to-R adapter, an adapter that supports the customizable control ring, and another that offers a drop-in filter port. The features that have made Canon DSLR and Cinema cameras favorites of underwater photographers are also present in the EOS-R, including powerful and precise Dual Pixel autofocus and 4K Canon Log video recording üvia the large 30.2MP CMOS full-frame sensor. Important Camera Specifications 30.3MP CMOS full-frame sensor 8fps continuous shooting 4K UHD recording at up to 30 frames per second All-I ISO 100-40,000   The NA-R underwater gear from Nauticam. The NA-R underwater gear embodies Nauticam's drive for innovation. Both the Canon EOS R and Nikon Z-7/6 cameras offer photographers the ability to use available äolder lenses üvia an adapter in addition to the original optics.  For many, the EOS R is a transition from a Canon full-frame DSLR. To support both conventional and original lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R into the N120 port system.. Use lenses with RF or EF mounts - with the same port system. Canon's EF-to-RF adapters can be attached to the camera before insertion into the housing.  When using the EOS R inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and port extension are identical to the same arrangement on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the range of RF lenses evolves, dedicated port and port extension combinations will be listed in the port overview.   Two lens release buttons, one for RF lenses and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to facilitate lens removal through the portöopening.   Controls. Nauticam engineers are obsessed with giving the photographer unobstructed access to all necessary controls underwater, with as many as possible within easy reach of the ergonomically rubberized grips.  This mission control philosophy extends to the NA-R, which features a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever on the right grip.   The thumb lever activates the "AF-On" buttons and the lower one activates the "Info" buttons, while the lower lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons.  Next to the left grip is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch for switching from LCD to EVF.   Large, knurled and rubberized knobs access the camera's "main"and "sub"command controls.  The two-stage off"ser enables smooth focus and off"activation. Additional buttons for "Menü", "focus point selection" and others are also "easily accessible via the handles.. An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and connects to the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R mount adapter with control ring üvia the optional gear (NA19561). Flash triggering Flash output is via one of two optional flash outputs, a manual LED output (NA26301) or a TTL flash output (NA26321), which use the built-in fiber optic ports with optional fiber optic cables to output supported flash units. For control of flashes that do not support fiber-optic flash output, a variety of older flash sockets are available. Video üvia HDMI  The EOS R is capable of outputting a 10-bit 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 30p video signal üvia HDMI.  When combined with the optional standard M16 HDMI jack (NA25033) and HDMI (D-C) 190mm cable (NA25036), the NA-R can be used in conjunction with an external monitor or recorder such as the SmallHD 502B or Ninja Inferno in their respective Nauticam housings. Vacuum test and leak detection system  The NA-R is supplied with the electronics as well as the M16 II vacuum valve for vacuum testing and the leak detection system. This simple system makes it possible to check the waterproof integrity of the housing before the dive and to monitor it continuously throughout the dive. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a  change in external temperature or by heating a camera during an action-packed dive.

Fujifilm X-T3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
FUJIFILM X-T3 The Fujifilm X-T3 features an APS-C CMOS 4 X-Trans 26.1MP Sensor. The X-T3 is powered by an upgraded X Processor 4 that is 3x faster and allows for 1.5x faster sensor readout than the X-T3. The base ISO has been lowered from 200 to 160. Oversampled DCI or UHD 4K (using full sensor width) is possible at 30p whereas 60p can be recorded with a minor 1.18x crop. The 60p footage can be captured as 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 at 200 Mbps and recorded internally. This increases to 4:2:2 when output over HDMI. The X-T3 also features F-Log capture to maximize dynamic range, protecting highlights and shadows for editing. The X-T3 features a Natural Liveview mode when recording F-log that more closely resembles a standard monitoring LUT. Zebra warnings and focus peaking overlays as well as magnification during shooting are all improvements that video shooters will appreciate. Three custom white balance slots are available in addition to the 7 presets. The electronic viewfinder of the X-T3 is vastly improved with 3.69M dots as compared to the 2.36M dots of the X-T2. Battery life has also been improved. The X-T3 can achieve 20fps continuous shooting with Autofocus and this increases to 30fps when shooting from a 1.25x crop area. A Sport Finder mode will show this cropped area inside the EVF. Phase-detection autofocus has been increased to 98% of the sensor area. The X-T3 also features a fast 1/250 X-sync speed. Key Camera Specifications 26MP BSI 'X-Trans CMOS 4' sensor 425-point hybrid AF system 20 fps shooting with AF (11 fps with mechanical shutter) 3.69M-dot electronic viewfinder 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 internal video capture (4:2:2 over HDMI) UHD/DCI 4K/60p from 1.18x crop region UHD/DCI 4K/30p using full width of sensor Internal F-Log capture Dual UHS-II SD card slots USB C-type connector can be used for charging battery THE NAUTICAM NA-XT3 UNDERWATER HOUSING Nauticam has supported X-T1 and X-T2 cameras and continues to create innovative and ultra-functional housings for this line with the NA-XT3. More than just an updated badge, the NA-XT3 is a complete redesign of the series. With a form factor more closely resembling the NA-A9 for Sony's A9 mirrorless camera, the NA-XT3 features DSLR-style housing and port lock mechanisms as well as integrated ergonomic handles. An optional hand strap (NA28130) can be added to the handles. The housing is designed with our Mission Control concept of placing the most important camera controls as close to the handles as possible to facilitate effortless and quick camera operation to ensure you don't miss the shot. The NA-XT3 features thumb levers near both handles, with the left thumb lever actuating the playback function and the right thumb lever the AF-L control. The housing includes two M14 and one M24 bulkhead openings and an M5 threaded hole on top (underneath the cold shoe) for an additional ball mount. The NA-XT3 uses the N100 Port System shared with the Fujifilm XH1 system. A selection of port options are available for a variety of lenses. VIDEO RECORDING FEATURES The impressive video specs of the X-T3 prompted the addition of some video-centric features to the NA-XT3. The base of the housing can accept Nauticam's Mounting Ball Set for Tripod (PN 25218), the same part as for the NA-A9. As the X-T3 can output DCI/UHD 4K at 60p with 4:2:2 quality over HDMI, a new M24 bulkhead has been incorporated into the housing to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V housing (HDMI 2.0) for Atomos Ninja V 5” 4Kp60 4:4:2 10-bit Recorder/Monitor/Player (17922). Video shooting can decrease battery life so the NA-XT3 is compatible with an optional 2500 mAh USB-C Battery Pack (NA36335) that sits below the camera tray inside the housing. FLASH TRIGGERING Reliable automatic flash exposure is available with the NA-XT3 and a variety of optically fired flashes, precisely reproducing the camera’s included EF-X8 flash at a proportionally greater intensity. This system yields accurate automatic TTL flash performance – even in manual exposure mode – with no electrical sync cables to flood! The NA-XT3 is also compatible with the Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger for Panasonic/Fujifilm (PN 26305). The Flash Trigger allows for rapid fire manual flash firing via fiber optic, with no camera battery drain. The NA-XT3 comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Nauticam Universal fiber optic cable system (NA26216) for Inon, Sea&Sea strobes, provide exceptional light transmission for accurate TTL performance. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is pre-installed in the NA-XT3 as standard equipment. Combined with an optional M14 Vacuum Valve II (NA25624), this monitoring system provides constant updates throughout the dive as to watertight integrity of the housing via a multi-color LED on the rear of the housing.Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Sony A7/A7R Underwater Housing (No electrical bulkhead) by Nauticam

Sony A7 II/A7RII Underwater Housing (No electrical bulkhead) by Nauticam
Nauticam is pleased to announce the NA-A7II, the newest entry in its mid-range series of fine underwater camera housings. The NA-A7II is an incremental improvement over the outstanding NA-A7 housing, and is the ultimate underwater machine for full frame mirrorless image making. The Sony A7 II Camera The new Sony A7II (officially called Sony Alpha 7 II) follows hot on the heals of the amazing A7, adding some significant improvments, including a 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization. The A7II, with its 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor, is the ultimate all-around full frame mirrorless camera to date. Focus is improved with a Hybrid AF system utilizing on-sensor phase-detect points. From a design perspective, other improvements in this model include more rugged build quality, a beefier grip, more and better laid out custom buttons, and a more ergonomically placed shutter release button. Other features include a 3-inch tilting LCD, XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, Multi-interface (hot) shoe, Wi-Fi with NFC, and 1080/60p video recording - now with XAVC S and a flat 'S-Log2' picture profile. The A7II features the same highly regarded full-frame 24MP CMOS sensor that was found on the original A7 and it continues to impress. The A7II uses a hybrid autofocus system, which has 25 contrast detect and 117 phase detect points spread across its sensor. Sony engineers claim that autofocus performance has improved by 30% and tracking by 50% compared to the A7. Autofocus and now auto exposure can be used while tracking a moving subject during burst shooting (at 5 fps). Ergonomically, the A7II is improved over the A7, and the difference is obvious when picking up the camera. It feels more substantial in the hand, and the shutter button in particular is more comfortable. The grip is larger and significantly more substantial which keeps the hand in a more relaxed position when gripping the camera. The A7II uses more magnesium alloy and less plastic than the A7; allowing the overall build quality to seem more solid with only a minor increase in weight Like previous models, the A7II supports WiFi, NFC, and a number of apps making sharing very easy, while opening up the camera's capabilities. Underwater Tribe | NA-A7II from Nauticam on Vimeo. The NA-A7II Underwater Housing by Nauticma The NA-A7II looks quite similar to the NA-A7, and the housings are approximately the same dimensions. As those photographers who have experienced the NA-A7 housing have discovered, that housing is a stunning blend of aesthetics, ergonomics and functionality and the A7II housing only reinforces this mission. The NA-A7II ships with built-in, yet adjustable handles, featuring Nauticams famous contoured rubberized grip. The AF/MF/AEL button is given special treatment on the right side of the housing with a direct access lever immediately reachable by the right thumb. This allows the button to be programmed for AF-ON meaning thumb focus fans can easily have perfect functionality. The shutter release can be accessed at the same time, offering extremely quick focus-to-shoot finger action. Like many Nauticam housings, the play button is brought up to the left thumb, and the three command dials (think shutter speed, aperture and exposure compensation) can be adjusted quickly with minimal reach. The ISO button is within short reach of the right thumb, important for video shooters. Speaking of video, the record button is on the top right, thus eliminating camera shake during video start/stop. The Function Menu button opens up common camera settings to a quick menu, and this button is a short reach with the right thumb. The programmable C3 button is a very easy reach and can be programmed for any of several functions. The housing features a switch to change between the EVF and the LCD providing rapid and secure transition between viewing modes, and supports Nauticam's well renowned viewfinders. Installing a lens with a gear attached is made easy by the new pull-out zoom/focus dial. A Nauticam Mini Flash Trigger made specifically for Sony is an available option, allowing the camera to shoot rapid fire with flood free optical cables. The housing includes an M16 bulkhead port for optional HDMI out, Nikonos style sync cable or other external accessory. The NA-A7II accommodates for the larger than expected grip of the camera. Rather than compromise on image quality, the Nauticam designers chose to create ports than take into account this difference, hence a separate entry in the port chart for this housing. Lens Matters The original A7 and A7R cameras from Sony sparked a huge interest in going full frame for mirrorless. For the underwater photographer, this enthusiasm was quickly diminished by the fairly limited lens selection. Underwater image makers rely on very wide angle lenses and macro lenses, and they were nowhere to be found. However, the recently released 16-35mm is a game changer. This is a lens from the Sony Zeiss partnership, quaintly dubbed the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS. It's a terrific rectilinear wide angle zoom that focuses close and demonstrates very good sharpness all around with medium to large sized dome ports. The Nauticam 180mm dome is an ideal choice for this lens. For macro lovers, Sony two days ago announced a 90mm macro beauty (Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS), and this lens will be supported as soon as possible after it is shipped (slated for July). Also just announced is a new 28mm f/2 lens with a fisheye adapter, similar to what Sony did with the fisheye and wide angle adapter on the 16mm lens for the NEX series. This is an appealing way to get fisheye, as it allows multiple configurations with a single lens. Look for more info about Nauticam support for this lens when it ships (slated for May). Owners of Canon full frame lenses like the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, or the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lenses will apreciate the ability to use these fine optics with the A7 series. This is made possible with a Metabones adapter (Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III or Mark IV)). These lenses work well on the A7 series, providing both aperture and autofocus control from the camera. Speaking of Lenses Nikonos "water contact" lenses are the stuff of legend, but too many of them are sitting in a box in a closet. Time to dust them off! The full frame A7II is a great way to bring those lenses back to action. With the full frame sensor, this Sea&Sea 12mm or the famous Nikonos 15mm behave like they were intended to. Viewfinder Options The NA-A7II ships with a standard 0.66x viewfinder. This standard optical glass viewfinder is travel friendly and suitable for image makers that care to use the LCD for most framing. Many photographers prefer the ease of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopter to take advantage of the excellent EVF in this camera. Nauticam produces a straight 180_ enlarging viewfinder and a 45_ angled enlarging viewfinder to enhance the ease of close quarters work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders have high quality optics, and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external dioptric adjustment allows personal adjustment to a sharp-as-a-tack standard underwater and viewfinder changes can be executed in less than 30 seconds without using tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been more accessible. NA-A7II Feature Checklist Unsurpassed build quality, designed by an award winning engineering team, and produced utilizing the most modern manufacturing technology available Ergonomically placed controls with size, shape, and color differentiation Access to all key camera controls All controls clearly labeled Patented two stage shutter release system, allowing precise feel over half press and full press Patented Port Locking System Patent pending Multi Controller pad Lens release button Easy to operate locking housing latches Rubberized ergonomic grips on adjustable handles Laser-cut steel handle brackets Quick release camera mounting plate Optical strobe connectors for fiber optic flash triggering Mini Flash Trigger M16 accessory hole for electrical bulkhead, HDMI or hydrophone installation M14 accessory hole for vacuum valve installation Integrated vacuum monitoring and leak detection circuit (valve optional) Dual 1" (25mm) strobe mounting balls included as standard equipment 1/4-20 tripod mounting holes Dual M5/M10 threaded accessory mounting points 100m Depth Rating Integrated Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-A7II as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe to dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The housing ships with a rear bulkhead port specifically for installing optional vacuum valves, leaving the other bulkhead port available for HDMI, sync cables and other accessories.

Panasonic Lumix S1H Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The evolution of the mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera has been happening at a fever pitch over the last few years with Panasonic leading the field of introducing more video-driven improvements.  With the LUMIX DC-S1H, Panasonic is taking its full-frame mirrorless S1 platform and giving it supercharged cinema-video specs.  The S1H is the first full-frame mirrorless camera to offer 6K (3:2) 24p internal recording with 14+ stops of dynamic range.  The Nauticam NA-S1H, with its M28 bulkhead supporting HDMI 2.0 output, can be combined with the Atomos Ninja V and Shogun Inferno external monitors/recorders to offer even more recording and monitoring Options. THE PANASONIC LUMIX DC-S1H CAMERA The Panasonic S1 brought many of the features that made the GH series of micro-four-thirds cameras popular with underwater image-makers to a full-frame sensor.  With the S1H, Panasonic has taken some of it's VariCam cinema-tech and added it to already strong video capabilities of the S1 platform.  The most notable is the ability to record 6K in a 3:2 aspect ratio at 24p (or 5.9K, 30p at 16:9) at a reported 14+ stops of dynamic range.  If 60p is important, the S1H will also capture C4K/UHD4K at 60p in 4:2:2 10-bit internally.   THE NAUTICAM NA-S1H UNDERWATER HOUSING As the S1H is an evolution of the mirrorless camera, the NA-S1H is the progression of Nauticam's innovative approach to housing design and construction.  As the capabilities of the cameras housed within increases, so must the housing itself.  The NA-S1H is a perfect compliment to the S1H camera and is designed to take full advantage of the S1H's advanced video capabilities.   EF AND L LENS SUPPORT Sigma's MC-21 EF to L adapter allows for the use of Sigma EF-mount lenses to be used with the S1H camera. The NA-S1H Housing is designed to not only accommodate the adapter but to allow for the use of the existing focus and zoom gears for Canon EF-mount Sigma lenses for the N120 Canon System along with the existing Canon N120 extension ring and port combinations for those lenses.  As native L-mount lenses become available, those best suited to underwater use will be added to the system. MISSION CONTROL The NA-S1H follows Nauticam's Mission Control design philosophy that emphasizes placing the control where it is needed most, regardless of where it may be on the camera itself.  This has led to housings where the majority of essential controls can be easily reached from the ergonomic handles.  The use of thumb-levers allows for the manipulation of many controls without having to remove your hand from the handle which leads to more time spent focusing on the shot and less time looking for a control. The NA-S1H features dual thumb levers on both the right and left rear of the housing.  The left side activates Playback and DISP buttons while the right controls AF-ON and REC.  An inner lever on each side adds additional functionality with ISO for the front right and LVF on the left rear.  A multi-position switch on the rear of the housing accesses C/M/AF and is located next to the multi-directional pad. HDMI 2.0 The NA-S1H features the large-bore M28 bulkhead that supports HDMI 2.0 video output connections to external recorders/monitors such as the Atomos Ninja V and Shogun Inferno with the optional Nauticam HDMI 2.0 cables and monitor housings.  An HDMI 1.4 option is also available for those monitor housings that do not feature the M28 bulkhead.

Sony A7 II/A7IIR Underwater Housing by Nauticam
The NA-A7II looks very similar to the NA-A7 and the housings have about the same dimensions. Nevertheless, this is an underwater housing specially tuned for the Sony alpha 7 Mark II. The NA-A7II comes with integrated adjustable grips that feature Nauticam's famous rubberized grip. The AF/MF/AEL button has been specially equipped on the right side of the grip with a direct access lever that can be reached instantly with the right thumb. This allows the button to be programmed for AF-ON, which means that "thumb focus" fans have perfect functionality. The output can be operated at the same time, allowing simultaneous focusing and shooting. As with many Nauticam housings, the playback button is placed on the left thumb, and the three adjustment ratios (shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation) can be set quickly and with minimal reach. The ISO button is located immediately near the right thumb, important for videographers. The record button is located in the upper right, preventing shake when starting/stopping video. Underwater Tribe | NA-A7II from Nauticam on Vimeo. The function menu button öopens the general camera settings for a quick menu, and this button is not far away with the right thumb. The programmable C3 button is very accessible and can be programmed for one of several functions. The housing features a switch to toggle between the electronic viewfinder and LCD, allowing quick and safe switching between viewing modes, and supports Nauticam's familiar magnifying viewfinders. A Nauticam mini flash output designed specifically for Sony is an available option that enables the camera to shoot quickly with flood-proof optical cables. The housing includes an M16 connector for an optional HDMI output, Nikonos sync cable, or other external accessory. The NA-A7II accommodates the camera's unexpectedly large grip. Rather than compromise on image quality, Nauticam designers chose to create ports to account for this difference, hence a separate entry in the port table for this housing. High-quality professional look Sony's original A7 and A7R cameras sparked a lot of interest in using full-frame for mirrorless cameras. For the underwater photographer, this enthusiasm quickly waned due to the relatively limited lens selection. Underwater photographers rely on very wide angle lenses and macro lenses, and these were nowhere to be found. This changed spätestens with the release of a 16-35mm wide-angle zoom. This is a lens from the Sony Zeiss partnership, designated the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS. It's a terrific straight wide-angle zoom that focuses close and offers very good all-around sharpness with medium to large dome ports. Nauticam's 180mm dome is the ideal choice for this lens. For macro lovers, Sony has launched a 90mm macro lens (Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS). Also available now is a 28mm f/2 lens with fisheye adapter, äsimilar to what Sony did with the fisheye and wide-angle adapter on the 16mm lens for the NEX series. This is an attractive option for fisheye lenses, as it allows for multiple configurations with a single lens. Owners of Canon full-frame lenses such as the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM or EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM will appreciate the versatility of their lenses with the A7 series. This is made possible by a Metabones adapter (Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III or Mark IV)). These lenses are well suited for the A7 series and allow both aperture and autofocus control via the camera. Finder options Precision requires foresight: a camera like the Sony A7 II / A7RII requires perfect focus for optimal results. Fortunately, Nauticam has developed the most user-friendly interchangeable viewfinders on the market. The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel friendly, but many photographers prefer the convenience of a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopters. Nauticam produces a "straight" 180º magnifying viewfinder and a 45º angled magnifying viewfinder to facilitate the tight-space work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders feature high-quality optics and allow bright viewing of the entire image. A patented external diopter adjustment allows for personalized, pin-sharp adjustment underwater. Viewfinder changes can be performed in less than 30 seconds without tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been so accessible.  Vacuum inspection and leak detection system The Nauticam vacuum prüf and leak detection system is available as standard with NA-A7II. Combined with an optional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant updates on the watertight and submersible condition of the housing. The operator can see at a glance the watertight and submersible condition of the walker. A simple coded LED lighting system indicates to the user if the vacuum is stable or if the walker is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given when water enters.

Sony A7R III and A7III Underwater Housing by Nauticam
Sony, pioneers of the full-frame mirrorless camera with their A7 line have brought us their latest iteration and it is awesome. Taking cues from the just-released A9 the A7RIII adds better autofocus, faster continuous shooting, and the still-awesome 5-axis stabilization rated at an amazing 5.5 stops. 4K is recorded from downsampled 5K using the full sensor width or the Super 35 crop mode is also available for a little in-camera zoom. THE SONY ALPHA A7R III The Sony a7R III is the company's latest high-resolution full frame mirrorless camera. Much like Nikon's recent D850, it's one that combines resolution with high speed and fast autofocus capabilities to a degree we've not previously seen. The Sony a7R III achieved an overall DxOMark sensor score of 100 points, the same as the Nikon D850. This makes it the highest-scoring mirrorless system camera to date, beating the A7R II by two points. The a7R III is built around it's 42MP BSI CMOS sensor and can shoot up to ten frames per second. 4K footage can be captured either from the full width of the sensor or from a Super 35 size crop. The camera can also shoot 1080p video at up to 120p and has a function to conform this footage back down to 24 or 30p, if you want out-of-camera slow-mo. These functions are also available from both the full width of the sensor or from the cropped region. 5-axis image stabilization ('Steadyshot') is available in all modes. The a7R III inherits many of the lessons learned from the company's pro-sports model, the a9. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Nikon Z7 / Z6 underwater housing (V) by Nauticam
Underwater photographers rely on the diversity of the environment to push their art to its limits, and not just underwater. With the introduction of the Nikon Z7 and Z6, the full-frame mirrorless camera market has important new competitors to push the segment even further. Nikon's first full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Z7 and Z6 offer underwater photographers the same legendary Nikon sensors with the versatility of an electronic viewfinder and the more compact form factor of a mirrorless system. The NA-Z7V supports both the Z6 and Z7 models and features the larger M28 bulkhead that supports HDMI 2.0 connections required for the Atomos Ninja V recorder/monitor. The Nikon Z6 and Z7 cameras For many full-frame Nikon photographers, the appeal of a mirrorless camera was tempered by the thought of having to invest in and master a new system by switching to another ecosystem like Sony. For those who were waiting for a mirrorless system that utilises Nikon's image processing technology and ergonomics, the wait is over. The Z6 and Z7 cameras have an identical body, differing only in features - an ideal feature when it comes to housing the camera for underwater use. Both camera bodies are built around the new Z-mount. With an incredibly large mount diameter of 55 mm (17% larger than F-mount) and a very short flange distance, the Z-mount offers a maximum aperture of F0.95. While the current selection of Z-mount lenses is limited, almost the entire range of F-mount lenses can be used with the optional FTZ adapter. When using the adapter, lenses without VR also benefit from the in-camera stabilisation. VR and Z-mount lenses get 5-axis stabilisation, while non-VR F-mount lenses have 3-axis stabilisation. There is also a special e-VR (electronic VR) that combines optical and electronic stabilisation for video recording. Both the Z6 and Z7 can internally record UHD 4K at 30 frames per second or 1080 HD at up to 120 frames per second at 144 Mbps. Recording utilises the full width of the sensor and both cameras are capable of outputting UHD 4K in 10-bit N-log via HDMI, supporting start/stop control. The electronic OLED viewfinder (EVF) of the Z6 and Z7 offers 100% image coverage at Quad VGA resolution (3.69 million dots). When triggering external flashes, both cameras have a 1/200 X-Sync shutter speed. Nikon Z7 Camera The Z7 has a high-resolution 45.7MP FX-format sensor that allows shooting at up to 9 FPS. The Z7 offers a wide ISO range of 64-25,600 and autofocus is achieved with 493 on-sensor AF points covering 90% of the frame. The camera intelligently switches between contrast and phase detection points to achieve precise focusing regardless of lighting conditions. Main features of the camera: 45.7MP FX format sensor without OLPF Continuous shooting at 9 FPS 64-25,600 ISO range UHD 4K 30p recording without FOV crop 10bit UHD 4K N-log output via HDMI with start/stop support 5-axis VR stabilisation (with Z-lenses) 8K time-lapse with exposure smoothing CF Express ready (currently supports XQD) Nikon Z6 Camera The Z6 is equipped with a 24.5 MP FX-format sensor that allows continuous shooting at up to 12 FPS and an ISO range of 100-51,200. Videos are recorded internally at up to UHD 4K 30p without cropping the field of view. 273 on-sensor focus points cover 90% of the subject and the Z 6 intelligently switches between contrast and phase detection points to ensure precise autofocus. Main features of the camera: 24.5MP FX-format sensor with OLPF 12 FPS continuous shooting ISO range 100-51,200 UHD 4K 30p recording without FOV crop 10bit N-log UHD 4K output via HDMI with start/stop support 5-axis VR stabilisation (with Z-mount lenses) 4K time-lapse CF Express ready (currently only XQD) The Nauticam NA-Z7V underwater housing Nauticam has produced a variety of housings for Nikon DSLR cameras and is not new to the mirrorless format. Nauticam has developed housings for full-frame, APS-C and MFT mirrorless cameras from various camera manufacturers. The NA-Z7V, just like Nikon's Z6/7 cameras, is an evolutionary step in underwater housings that seamlessly combine the Nikon F-mount and the new Z-mount in one housing. F- and Z-mount support The Nauticam NA-Z7V body not only allows the use of the new Z-mount Nikon glass, but also F-mount lenses with the Nikon FTZ adapter. This is crucial as the new Z-mount lenses will be phased in over the next few years. The Nauticam NA-Z7V body has two lens release buttons suitable for either F- or Z-mount lenses. When switching between F-mount and Z-mount lenses, the camera must be removed from the housing to remove the adapter. If you are using the F- or Z-mount system, use the appropriate lens release button to change the lens without removing the camera from the body. A vacuum reset switch is also located under the tray so that the back of the housing does not need to be opened when changing lenses or adapters. Intelligent operation Nauticam's engineers are obsessed with functionality, which is evident in the placement of the essential controls.  Regardless of where the controls are located on the camera, the Nauticam housing puts them where you need them underwater.  For those switching between photo and video modes, there is an easy-to-reach switch on the right rear of the housing.  The right double thumb lever, easily reached from the right grip, gives access to the AF-on or Record button.  Between the double thumb lever and the multi-step shutter release is an ISO lever that allows quick changes in sensitivity. The left double tick lever provides access to the DISP and playback controls.  The zoom in and zoom out controls on the right rear of the camera housing are on the left side of the housing and are in a location more familiar to Nauticam housing users. The switch that toggles between the LCD display and the electronic viewfinder, an important and widely used control with mirrorless systems, is within easy reach near the left grip.   Front and rear controls are easily accessible via the familiar large knurled wheels on the right handle.  The ergonomic housing handles are rubberised and feature stainless steel stiffening brackets to ensure a stable platform when using large strobes or video lights attached to the pre-installed 1-inch ball heads. Z7 mit 60mm Makro Flash release The NA-Z7 comes with Nauticam's self-powered manual flash trigger pre-installed.  The flash trigger plugs into the camera's hot shoe and uses LED lights inserted into each of the two optical bulkheads to trigger assisted underwater flashes when used with the correct fibre optic connector.  The flash trigger is powered by button cell batteries that provide thousands of flashes per battery.  The flash trigger can be upgraded to support TTL triggering (NA26308). HDMI video output The Z7 camera supports 10-bit HDMI video output with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) at up to 30p.  An external monitor or recorder can be used with the optional standard M16 HDMI socket (NA25033), HDMI (D-C) cable in 190mm length (NA25036), which is included as standard in every Nauticam monitor housing. The NA-Z7V also has an M24 socket that supports HDMI 2.0 output.  Atomos and Nikon have announced that video output via HDMI 2.0 from the Nikon Z6 and Z7 can be captured in Apple ProRes RAW format on the Ninja V monitor/recorder.  Currently, footage can be recorded in high quality ProRes 4:2:2 10-bit 30p UHD 4K when used with the Ninja V using the Nauticam NA-Ninja V housing with HDMI 2.0 cable PN 25085.

Both the Canon EOS R5C and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS RC5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the Port Chart. Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5C where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The upper thumb lever activates the "AF-On" and the lower the "Q" buttons while the sub-lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch to change from using LCD to the EVF. Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles. An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and will interface with the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R Mount Adapter with Control Ring using the optional gear (NA19561). Flash Triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available. INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R5C as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

Both the Nikon Z 6II and Z 7II present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy F Mount lenses via the FTZ adapter in addition to their native Z Mount optics.  To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-Z7II into the N120 port system.  This is critical as the new Z mount lenses are being phased in over the next few years. The Nauticam NA-Z7II housing features two lens release buttons that correspond to either F or Z mount lenses. When switching between F and Z mount lenses, the camera must be removed from the housing to remove the adapter. When working within either the F or Z mount system use the appropriate lens release button to switch lenses without having to remove the camera from the housing. A vacuum system reset switch is located below the tray as well so there is no need to open the rear of the housing during lens or port changes. The NA-Z7II is part of the N120 port system which allows for full support of Nikon F mount lenses with the same ports needed for their application on Nikon SLR housings. As more Z mount lenses become available Nauticam will add supported configurations. INTELLIGENT CONTROL PLACEMENT Nauticam engineers are obsessed with functionality and this is evident in the location of essential controls. Regardless of where the control is located on the camera, the Nauticam housing puts them where you need them to be underwater. For those switching between photo and video modes, an easily reachable switch is located on the right rear of the housing. The right side double thumb lever, easily reached from the right handle features access to the AF-on and Record buttons respectively. Between the double thumb lever and the multi-stage shutter release is an ISO lever allowing quick changes to sensitivity. The left double thumb lever accesses the DISP and Playback controls. The Zoom In and Zoom Out controls, located on the right rear of the camera body is relocated to the left side of the housing to a location more familiar to Nauticam housing users. The switch that allows for switching between the LCD display and the EVF, a crucial and much used control with mirrorless systems is located close to the left handle within easy reach. Front and rear control dials are readily accessible by the familiar large knurled dials at the right handle. The ergonomic housing handles are rubberized and feature stainless steel stiffening brackets to ensure a stable platform when using large strobes or video lights attached to the pre-installed 1" mounting balls. FLASH TRIGGERING The NA-Z7II comes with Nauticam's self powered manual flash trigger preinstalled. The flash trigger plugs into the hot-shoe of the camera and uses LED lights recessed into each of the two optical bulkheads to trigger supported underwater flashes when used with the correct fiber optic connection. The flash trigger is powered by coin cell batteries that provide thousands of flashes per battery. The flash trigger can be upgraded to support TTL triggering (PN 26308 TTL Converter for Nikon). INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is shipped with NA-Z7II as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory M16 vacuum valve (PN 25625), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS Optical performance is just as necessary as camera performance and this becomes even more critical given the challenges of filming underwater. The Nauticam NA-Z7II uses the same N120 Port System as the previous NA-Z7 which makes for a seamless transition for those upgrading to the "II." While this system provides exceptional optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide variety of F and Z Mount lenses, the real power of the Z 6II and Z 7II can be realized using Nauticam's Water Contact Optics. This lineup of dry and wet lenses are conceived using commercial lens-design software to achieve truly unparalleled underwater image quality both for stills and video in both macro and wide-angle situations. The WACP-1 and WACP-2 achieve ultra-wide 130º fields-of-view with reduced distortion over conventional optics while featuring ~0" minimum focus distances, zoom through capabilities and unbeatable corner sharpness at even wide-open apertures such as F5.6. The SMC-1 and SMC-2 macro wet-optics, when used with the Nikon 105mm f/2.8G VR macro lens provide 2x and 4x magnification respectively and the SMC-1 actually provides a resulting image with increased contrast and sharpness than the 105mm lens itself can achieve in air without a magnifier.

Canon EOS R3 Underwater Housing by Nauticam
THE CANON EOS R3 CAMERA The Canon EOS R3 in all respects appears to be the mirrorless sibling of the 1DX Mark III DSLR, clearly aimed at fulfilling many of the same roles while offering some additional capabilities through the use of the electronic viewfinder and the larger RF lens mount.  The full-frame 24.1MP Stacked CMOS sensor, in addition to having incredible low-light performance, can also capture full-width 6K video in both Raw and compressed formats at up to 60fps.  The R3 is paired to Canon's industry leading Dual Pixel AF system with 100% frame coverage and the now revived Eye AF system. DUAL PIXEL AF II Canon's Dual Pixel autofocus system has long been a favorite of underwater users, especially when it comes to tacking subjects.  With the R3, the system adds an additional 'Animal' recognition mode which might make the system even more reliable at following moving subjects.  Frame coverage is 100% with 1053 zones to ensure accurate focus wherever the subject may be. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE The ability to increase a camera's ISO with little penalty is of critical importance to underwater shooters for both stills and video as shooting with higher F-stop values delivers sharper corners and higher shutter speeds mean less motion blur.  The higher video frame rates also benefit by allowing the shooter to maintain a 180º shutter while still maintaining adequate aperture values.  When using color correction filters, which can often remove more than a full stop of light, compensation via ISO is not as much of an issue for overall image quality.  Maintaining dynamic range, even at high ISO levels is also important for those shooting still images using natural light or in poor water conditions. ENHANCED CONTROLS The R3 features an additional control wheel located at the upper right rear of the camera which doubles as the mode control.  This wheel can be assigned a variety of functions such as ISO and is adjusted by a dedicated control wheel on the housing within easy reach of the right handle.   VIDEO CAPABILITIES The Canon R3 can capture 6K video at up to 60fps in either Raw or more compressed formats.  The 6K capture uses the full sensor width which means no loss in field-of-view.  12-bit 6K capture is possible in both uncompressed Canon Raw or compressed Raw light formats.  10-bit H.265 is also possible in both the HDR PQ and Canon Log3 gamma curves to maximize dynamic range for post processing while maintaining smaller file sizes than a Raw format.  It's also possible (when using supported cards) to simultaneously record 10-bit 4:2:2 DCI 4K 60p video.  For those looking for higher frame rates, 10-bit 4:2:2 compressed 4K/120fps can also be captured, downsampled from the full sensor width.  A natively sampled 4K S35 crop is also an option, allowing for more magnification or the use of APS-C lenses.  The R3 also outputs a clean 6K signal over HDMI via an HDMI Micro Type D connector.  Direct custom white balance in live view is also now possible, making a critical function for underwater video even easier. STABILIZATION The R3 features 5-axis In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) which can offer up to 8 stops of correction allowing for even smoother video and less camera movement related blur. LARGE ELECTRONIC VIEWFINDER The R3's EVF is an OLED 5.76M-dot that features an OVF simulation mode which leverages. the large dynamic range of the OLED screen to reproduce a scene the way it would look through an optical viewfinder.  The lower dynamic range of electronic viewfinders has always made them more difficult to use underwater, especially in high contrast or backlit scenes. This function can easily be switched on and off by assigning it to a custom function button.  When using the Electronic Shutter, which has an X-Sync speed of 1/180sec, the EVF delivers true no-blackout shooting up to 30fps.   Example setup THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself.  Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies.  Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available. HDMI 2.0 AND MOUNTING POINTS The R3 can output clean 6K 60p over HDMI and the NA-R3 features a large bore M24 bulkhead to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to an external monitor or recorder.  Mounting the monitor or recorder or other accessories is even easier with 3x 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as an additional M10 mounting point atop the housing.  Check the resources sidebar for supported monitor/recorder housings and recommended accessories. FLASH TRIGGERING Flash triggering can be accomplished via the two included M14 electronic bulkheads (One is pre-installed in the M24 bulkhead via a removable M26-M14 adapter).  If using fiber-optic triggering, the built-in fiber optic bulkheads can be used with either the optional manual LED or TTL-flash triggers to provide the desired type of strobe power control. PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS The NA-R3 is built around the N120 Canon RF-mount Port System which supports a wide array of Canon RF mount lenses with a selection of optical glass and acrylic ports.  With lens-removal controls for both EF and RF mount lenses, the NA-R3 can support both lens mount types without modification to the housing.  The EF-RF lens adapter is accommodated inside the housing which allows for the use of the N120 Canon EF-mount Port System without any additional extension rings.  When switching between an EF and RF lens, the camera must be removed to install or remove the adapter.  The Nauticam lineup of Premium Professional Optics can deliver unparalleled optical quality and expanded creative options. When used with the Canon RF 14-35 F/4 IL USM lens, the WACP-2 creates a stunning 140º field-of-view while maintaining an incredibly natural looking image and excellent corner sharpness.  The SMC-1 delivers 2.3x macro magnification to the RF 100mm macro lens while the SMC-2 delivers 3.3x. VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M16 Vacuum Valve (25625). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.

It is also capable of recording 4K video at up to 60p internally and 6K 60p extern The EOS R6 Mark II can also use the large EF-mount lens lineup via the Canon RF to EOS R Adapter. Key specifications 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor UHD 4K shooting up to 60p, 1080 at up to 120p, 6K ProRes RAW recording externally up to 60p 100% coverage Dual Pixel II AF system 12 fps / 40 fps burst (mechanical / electronic shutter) 3.69M-dot OLED EVF 3" 1.62M-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD 580 shot-per-charge battery rating Dual UHS-II SD Slots The Nauticam Underwater Housing for the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Camera The NA-R6II underwater housing follows suit with Nauticam's drive for innovation and it supports both the Canon EOS R6 and R6 Mark II. A conversion kit is required for the original R6 and will be provided upon request. Like its predecessors, the NA-R6II presents shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics. To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R6II into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS R6 Mark II inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. With the ever growing RF lens lineup, you can also follow the dedicated N120 Canon RF port chart that is being updated and expanded with each new lens release. Please note that the Canon Control Ring and Drop-in Filter EF to EOS R adapters are not accessible within the housing. Mission Control Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R6II where a dual thumb lever and sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The dual thumb lever on the front right side activates the "M-Fn" and "Rec" buttons while the sub-lever on the right rear side corresponds to the "AF-ON" button. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" for easy image review. Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles Flash Triggering Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (NA26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (NA26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available. Integrated Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R6 as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve (NA25625) this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.
